Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge Review (Xbox 360)
Team Ninja has done it again by releasing an updated port of a previously released game in the Ninja Gaiden series. Ninja Gaiden 3 was originally released in March of 2012, so it only took Team Ninja eight months to realize their mistakes and release Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge for the Wii U as a launch title. With an additional wait of five months, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 owners can now get their hands on Razor’s Edge, but is it worth it? Story: The story for Razor’s Edge has not changed since the release of Ninja Gaiden 3. You…
White Noise – A Review (Xbox 360)
Milkstone Studios has released their latest title through the Xbox Live Indie Marketplace, named White Noise. The premise for White Noise is simple, you are stuck in a grave yard, collecting eight tape recorders while being hunted by a vile creature. What you really get with White Noise is an almost exact copy of Slender, but for the Xbox 360. Milkstone Studios just changed the pieces of paper to tape recorders, some of the structures that you wander through, and Slenderman to a fairly generic looking supernatural creature. If you ever wanted to play Slender from Parsec Productions on your…
Razer Sabertooth Elite Gaming Controller for Xbox 360 Review
Under a non-disclosure agreement and strict embargo date, it was delivered at our doorstep… So secret that no other member of GamingShogun.com’s writing staff knew of its existence, it was reviewed… Thanks to some premature, embargo-breaking websites in the UK (you know who you are), I can finally let loose our review of Razer’s new Sabertooth Elite Gaming Controller for the Xbox 360 - ahead of schedule! The Sabertooth exudes positive build quality… Opening the Razer Sabertooth, the box contained two objects – the instruction booklet and a very well-made, zip-up carrying case. As nice as this case is, it is missing a handle, which…
TES V: Skyrim – Dragonborn Review (Xbox 360)
Over encumbered and unable to run having run Warmaiden’s dry of gold after selling unwanted goods. As I stepped out of the blacksmith’s shop intending to head to Breezehome and lighten myself a bit, I was attacked! Two squid-masked cultists stood in the road, yammering on about me being an imposter. As they unleashed their magic attacks the guards of Whiterun tried to come to my defense but could not withstand the cultists’ barrage. Thus ensued the slowest chase of my life. I cautiously waddled closer, as not to collapse under my own weight. They ran away. Five minutes later…
NASCAR The Game: Inside Line Review (Xbox 360)
Wow… What can I say about the new NASCAR Title from Eutechnyx and Activision? First, I am a racing fan. Second, I am an avid NASCAR fan. I loved Eutechnyx vision of rebooting a NASCAR game last year with NASCAR The Game 2011. Don’t believe me? Look up my review on the site! It was awesome! I have been super excited about every facet of the new game (except for the cover – Dale Earnhardt Jr – SERIOUSLY? I’m a die-hard Joe Gibbs Racing / Kyle Busch fan) that was announced. I poured over every little tidbit that the developer…
Tropico 4 Gold Edition Review (PC/Xbox 360)
Maxis turns 25 years old next year and one of their most influential titles of all time SimCity is just a year younger. That’s give you an idea just how long city sims have been around, the title that put them on the map was sharing computers with mostly educational games such as Oregon Trails. Computers were supposed to be for work or typing, in some cases both. I remember being in high school and how cutting edge it was to be writing our senior year school paper on computers, and how one day a friend brought in SimCity changing…
