The Town Square will feature a stage with high-spirited entertainment, food and beverage booths, a psychic and Midnight Falls townsfolk such as the City Councilman and Pageant Queen lurking in the shadows. However, despite the celebratory atmosphere, there is an unsettling sense of foreboding – all is not right in this peculiar place.
Midnight Mortuary Haunted House: The dark and ominous house at the end of the street looms over Midnight Falls. Owned and operated by the Marlow family for decades, guests can tour the local funeral parlor to reveal its sinister secrets.
Roadkill Ranch: Just on the outskirts of Midnight Falls inside the forest, an open-air maze experience awaits. At Roadkill Ranch, mysterious ranch hands are responsible for collecting the main highway’s deceased varmints. However, their hack methods of body disposal come back to bite with an insatiable vengeance as characters come back to life and haunt the visitors in a high-energy haunted maze through a barn, corn fields and hay stacks.
Trick-or-Treat: A unique take on a traditional haunted maze, trick-or-treaters go door to door of 12 local homes inside Midnight Falls. However, it is soon discovered the ghoulish residents have far more tricks than treats. The wondrous magic of a traditional neighborhood Halloween celebration is turned upside down as terrors stalk the streets in Trick-or-Treat.
Haunted Hayride: Within the foothills of Midnight Falls, crowd favorite, the Hayride leads to a thrilling adventure of horrors afflicting the town. Out in the darkness, a portal has opened spilling hideous creatures from its rotted mouth. The spirit of Halloween comes to life surrounding helpless victims brave enough to board the Hayride.

Burlingame, Calif. – August 1, 2019 – KOEI TECMO America is proud to announce the return of one of their most iconic franchises, as the historical strategy game Romance of The Three Kingdoms XIV is currently in development for the PlayStation®4 Computer Entertainment System and digitally on Windows PC via Steam®.
The latest iteration of the classic tactical series is once again set during the fall of the Han Dynasty in ancient China; where battles take place in a boundary-free scramble for land. The game’s map showcases the territory captured and the thrill of expansion using a simplified color system – paying homage to the original Romance of The Three Kingdoms XIV, released on PC back in 1985. Everything from war to diplomatic affairs will be geared toward managing and gathering land as players attempt to spread their strategies at will across the vast China map.
In addition, RTK14 will adopt the ruler-based system from RTK9 and RTK11 in order to help return classic gameplay to the series. This means that all actions – from domestic, to political, to battle – will now take place on a single map. Greater individuality among characters will also be on display; with officers from the Three Kingdoms, like Liu Bei and Guan Yu, asserting themselves at various situations in order to fully immerse players into the game’s rich history. But that’s not all, as a new Evolved Artificial Intelligence system is also being implemented to challenge players across repeated playthroughs. With organizations now determined through each ruler’s ideals, different game experiences are now possible via different rulers. REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – July 31, 2019 – Today, Perfect World Entertainment Inc., a leading publisher of live service games, and Cryptic Studios announced Star Trek Online: Awakening beams down to PC on September 10 and releases on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One at a later date. Following the epic conclusion to the multi-part saga, Age of Discovery, the free-to-play Star Trek MMORPG will return to its original timeline in the 25th century. When Awakening releases this fall, players will warp to the year 2410, where they will embark on a mission to recover stolen Mycelial technology from J’Ula and the Klingons, with the help of Lt. Commander Paul Stamets (voiced by Anthony Rapp from Star Trek: Discovery) in holographic form. Captains can also access Awakening to participate in a series of exciting patrols to repair time rifts, a brand new Task Force Operation and a special Mycelial Event which rewards players with a new T6 Elachi ship for completing missions.
“Last fall marked a historical moment for Star Trek Online, as we explored the vast universe of Star Trek: Discovery and developed content in conjunction with a live Star Trek series for the very first time,” says the game’s Executive Producer Andre Emerson. “The show’s cadence also allowed us to build an expansion over time, yielding exciting new missions, dozens of unexplored starships and countless hours of story content starring original Discovery cast members. The time has now come for captains to return home to the 25th century and we cannot wait for them to experience the next chapter.”
During Age of Discovery, players witnessed J’Ula and her Klingon forces stealing Mycelial technology, which pulled them forward to the year 2410. Captains must now follow this ruthless Klingon matriarch back to the 25th century to ensure she doesn’t corrupt the entire Mycelial Network in pursuit of her own dangerous agenda. Unfortunately, the insurmountable threat J’Ula poses to the universe also draws out the Elachi, who fear her actions will lead to the destruction of their home planet – and they will stop at nothing to protect it. In order to complete their mission, Captains must rely on the help of an astromycologist expert, a sentient hologram of the legendary Lieutenant Commander Paul Stamets from the U.S.S. Discovery (voiced by Anthony Rapp), to help them track down J’Ula and repair the tears she’s caused in the fabric of space.
These events transpire over the course of a new episode debuting with Awakening this fall. The update also introduces a series of new patrols, which will send Captains on a mission with Stamets and Star Trek Online luminaries like Lukari Captain Kuumaarke to reverse the damage the Klingons have caused to the Mycelial Network. With them come a revamped Patrols System, which has been updated to allow better access to the game’s patrols and yield new rewards. Finally, players will also be able to participate in a new 5-player Task Force Operation and a special Mycelial Event, which allows them to earn a new T6 Elachi ship by completing the new episode, patrols and TFO. Additional details will be released when Awakening launches on PC September 10.
While waiting for Star Trek Online: Awakening to release this fall, players can still catch up on all three chapters of Age of Discovery for free on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation®4. The Star Trek: Discovery experience by Sandbox VR is directed by Michael Hampden, lead designer on Assassin’s Creed: Rogue, and critically acclaimed VR game Blood & Truth.
Guided by fan favorite Sylvia Tilly of the U.S.S. Discovery (with Mary Wiseman reprising her role on the show), players of up to 6 friends will be able to gear up on a real “away mission” (with phasers and tricorders), explore strange new worlds, seek out new life and new civilizations, and boldly go where no one has gone before.
The Star Trek: Discovery Away Mission will launch in Sandbox VR’s Hong Kong, San Francisco Bay Area, and Los Angeles locations in the fall of 2019 with a full launch worldwide shortly thereafter.
The company is planning an expansive rollout across the U.S. with locations coming soon to Los Angeles (opening this August), NYC, Austin, San Diego, Chicago with 16 total locations planned by the end of 2019. Sandbox VR is the leading on-location team-play immersive VR experience with full body motion capture technology and recently announced a $68M Series A from Andreessen Horowitz.
