London, United Kingdom – May 15, 2020 — BAFTA nominated developer Firefly Studios has revealed new units coming to Stronghold: Warlords, the upcoming entry in their classic ‘castle sim’ series. With the ability to land precision strikes, instantly clear walls of Archers, or simply deal high damage with powerful weapons, each unit introduces a new set of tactics.
Samurai
With the ability to charge down enemies foolish enough to stand in their way and eliminate high priority units like Generals with their Precision Strike, Samurai have a unique role to play in the game. True to their historical roots, these disciplined feudal fighters are best used in combat against priority targets or to quickly shut down foes with powerful abilities of their own. With a steady movement speed and weakness to gunpowder, they are however susceptible to swarms of cavalry and gunpowder-fuelled missile fire.
Imperial Guardsman
An expensive but valuable unit, the heavy mace-wielding Imperial Guardsman will make a serious dent in any enemy siege force. Able to build up a Heavy Attack while in combat, the Guardsmen can then deal area damage in a wide arc when triggered. The Guardsmen can quickly tip the scales in your favour mid-siege—use him to clear castle walls, crush unarmoured skirmish troops, or dismantle siege weapons and.
Imperial Warrior
While the Imperial Warrior lacks a unique ability like that of the Samurai or Guardsman, he makes up for it with a high armour rating and damage output thanks to his weapons of choice. Resistant to Archer fire, Fire Lancers, and all but the heaviest siege weapons, the Imperial Warrior should form part of the front line in any castle siege or any large scale open field battle.
Scheduled for release on Steam later this year, players can find out more about Stronghold: Warlords by visiting the game’s official website: www.StrongholdWarlords.com

Features of Crusader Kings III include:
Character Focused Gameplay: Every character you play or interact with has their own unique personality. Events and options in the game are largely determined by the type of person you are.
Infinite Possibilities: Play as any noble house from Iceland to India, Finland to Central Africa over five centuries. Interact with wandering guests, stubborn children, devious spymasters and saintly holy men in an elaborate tapestry of medieval life.
Waging War: Rally your vassals and raise your men-at-arms to besiege enemy castles or put down rebellions. Personal prowess on the battlefield can win you great honor, but strategic planning is the path to victory.
Royal Marriages: Spread your dynastic DNA throughout the world, stamping your royal seal on the crests of kingdoms and duchies far and wide. Marry for power and raise children to press claims on new lands.
Saints and Sinners: Keep faith with your religious leaders or perform great crimes in the interest of the state. When the going gets tough, you can always embrace a heresy or craft a new religion more in line with your character’s priorities.
Schemes and Skulduggery: Learn the secrets of your courtiers and vassals so you can blackmail them for their support. Seduce your way into a superior’s good books, or plot the untimely demise of an unfortunate relative.
Events Inspired By History: Experience great holy wars, peasant revolts, cadet branches of dynasties, heretics, superstition, castles, knights and wars over inheritance.
3D Character Portraits: Characters age and change appearance as their traits take a toll on their body. The higher the rank, the fancier the clothing.
And much more: Holy Orders, mercenaries, pagan and Viking raiders, easily customized rule sets and a beautiful new map to play on.

AUSTIN, TX (May 14, 2020) – Today World of Warships: Legends announces the arrival of Legendary Tier ships along with a new feature to unlock them, the full release of Russian Battleships, and the new “Sword of the Pacific” campaign in the upcoming May 18 update. Players will be able to begin unlocking powerful unique ships along with other rewards throughout the new update, and there is a bunch of balance changes and maps coming too.
The first Tier VII premium destroyer, Yūdachi, is featured as the final reward in the new “Sword of the Pacific” campaign. She served in many of the early Pacific battles during World War II and eventually earned the nickname “Nightmare of Solomon” for her actions in the Guadalcanal campaign. In-game, she is a stealthy destroyer with excellent torpedoes and a torpedo reload booster consumable, more than backing up her historical reputation. Players will have five weeks to finish the 90-levels of the campaign, earning plenty of Boosters, consumables and more along the way!
The new Legendary Tier ships are unlocked via a new feature, the Bureau. In essence, the Bureau gives players the ability to research ships and other rewards over time by playing the game daily. The research can be boosted by completing daily trials and assigning specific ships to the project. Most importantly, the only way to command one of these powerful Legendary Tier ships is by completing projects in the Bureau. Players will be able to start working to unlock their first Legendary Tier ship after short introductory project, putting them on the way to the end-game of World of Warships: Legends. The Yamato, Alaska, and Großer Kurfürst will be the first three Legendary Tier ships available. These ships should be considered long-term goals for players, it will take a couple months to complete a project.
The Yamato, Alaska, and Großer Kurfürst are very powerful and pretty unique in their abilities. Yamato, for example, excels in medium to long range combat thanks to her immense 18-inch guns and armor scheme. However, Yamato can be surprisingly vulnerable at close ranges due to her armor weak spots—which is precisely where the other Legendary Tier Battleship, Großer Kurfürst, excels. This German behemoth is built for brawling combat with extensive armor protection and hit points. Alaska, the only cruiser in this Legendary Trio, is probably the most unique ship out of the bunch. Her punchy 12-inch guns—the largest on any cruiser in the game—put Alaska into a league of her own.
The Russian fleet is complete at last, as the Russian Battleships are leaving early access this update. They bring a lot of firepower into battle, though they do not have the best accuracy at long range. Skilled captains must use their heavy armor to get close before delivering devastating blows. The full release of the Russian battleships includes the Tier VII Vladivostok, the most modern battleship available to the Russian tech tree. Vladivostok has excellent firing angles and armor, but like most of the Russian behemoths she isn’t very maneuverable and has a large citadel.
Plus, there are 3 new maps on the way: Greece, Northern Waters, and Crash Zone for high tier battles. All this comes with UI improvements, new fire effects for ships, and balance changes! There’s a lot coming to World of Warships: Legends this update.
