Darkpaw Games today announced the launch of Claws of Veeshan, the 27th expansion for popular free-to-play MMO EverQuest, which celebrated its 21st anniversary this year.

In this new content expansion, players will travel to the continent of Velious, which is now overwhelmed with writhing ice and the frozen undead. Here, they must band together with the remaining brave survivors and put a stop to the deadly magic overwhelming this world by taking the fight to the ancient dragons of Velious.

Claws of Veeshan features the following new content:

  • 6 Expansion Zones – Follow the icy trail into the lands dominated by the dragons of Velious. Find the source of the mysterious and restless ice and put an end to the dangers that have enveloped the entire continent.

  • New Raids, Quests, and Missions

  • New Spells, Combat Abilities, and AAs

  • New Collections

  • Dragon’s Hoard – A dragon’s hoard for those that have collected so many items it is nigh impossible to contain. This is additional space to hold all those items you may need once more but do not need now.

CD PROJEKT RED welcomes gamers across the world to Night City with the official launch of Cyberpunk 2077 — the studio’s latest open-world, action-adventure RPG.

In Cyberpunk 2077, players take on the role of up-and-coming mercenary V in the futuristic megalopolis of Night City — a corporation-ruled city obsessed with technology and body modification. As they chase down a prototype implant which holds the key to immortality, players will meet a cast of multi-layered characters, including rebel rockerboy Johnny Silverhand (played by Keanu Reeves), upgrade their character with ability-altering cyberware, and make difficult choices which will shape the world and story around them.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available to purchase right now on PC via GOG.COM, Steam, and Epic Games Store, as well as on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Stadia. The game is also playable on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles. At a later date, a free upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077, taking full advantage of next-gen hardware, will become available for owners of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions respectively. The GOG.COM and Steam releases of the game additionally feature streaming via NVIDIA GeForce NOW.

Ryte : The Eye of Atlantis Postponed to January

Today, Orichalcum Pictures, a hybrid production company founded to explore archaeology through a multimedia lens, and developer VR Connection announced a slight delay for their ancient Greece and Myst-inspired VR adventure game Ryte: The Eye of Atlantis. The official statement reads as follows:

“Due to the remote work adjustments during the COVID-19 second lockdown in France which were necessary to keep everyone healthy, the current version of Ryte: The Eye of Atlantis did not quite reach the technical quality standards that the studio and us have set and wanted to achieve for the release on December 8th.

With so much work and dedication put into this project we feel we owe the players to deliver the most polished experience and decided to postpone the release to January 27, 2021.

We apologize to everyone who was expecting the game today. This decision was not an easy one to make. But achieving excellence is our goal and we apologize about the inconvenience and thank you for your patience”

The new release date for SteamVR and Oculus headsets is January 27, 2021. Players can wishlist the game on its official Steam store now.

The trailer dives deep into the world and story of Cyberpunk 2077, and explores the bonds players will forge, the dangers they will face, and the lengths they will go to in order to build their legend as V, the game’s protagonist. Way of the Witcher is the sixth expansion for GWENT. This time around the theme focuses on the origins of witchers and their creator, one of the most powerful sorcerers on the Continent — Alzur. New additions include 70 cards spanning 60 faction-specific ones and 10 neutrals, as well as powerful fresh abilities and mechanics — among them Adrenaline, which triggers whenever the player has a specific number of cards or less in their hand.
