Developer Purple Tree Studio and publisher Zordix today announced that their upcoming duck-on-duck destruction game Ponpu will release for the PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One on November 5th.

The all-seeing Duck God has had enough and the world has run out of time. Every 2 billion years the world must be refreshed through divine destruction and he has sent you, a Ponpu, as his herald. But, a nasty bump on the head during a crash landing took your memory and now you find yourself working against the Duck God in a carnage-fueled battle against other Ponpu to save the very world you were sent to destroy.

A new trailer and poster from 20th Century Studios’ upcoming feature film “Free Guy” debuts today. Ryan Reynolds stars as a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game, and decides to become the hero of his own story—one he rewrites himself. Now in a world where there are no limits, he is determined to be the guy who saves his world his way, before it is too late.

Also starring Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar and Taika Waititi, “Free Guy” is directed by Shawn Levy from a story by Matt Lieberman and a screenplay by Lieberman and Zak Penn. World of Warships: Legends October Update Overview

The October update for World of Warships: Legends comes with the full release of the Italian cruisers, plus the new Steel Redeemer campaign to earn the Tier VI destroyer Benham. There is an assortment of changes coming to the game as well, including a new way to communicate with teammates, and improvements to the Russian destroyer and the Italian cruiser lines. However, all of this is a prelude to the main event: Rust ‘n’ Rumble, a Halloween special event which starts on October 19th.

Last update introduced the nimble Italian cruisers to World of Warships: Legends, and now they are exiting early access in this update with an important addition. Originally, the Italian cruisers above Tier III came equipped with a standard Smoke Generator consumable, which allowed them to conceal themselves in the heat of battle. Now, they will have this ability replaced with a unique Exhaust Smoke Generator consumable that allows them to “smoke up” even at top speed! Players can now research the Tier VII cruiser Amalfi too, the ultimate Italian cruiser. Fast and well-armed with torpedoes and powerful 203mm guns, the Amalfi is quite the adaptable ship.

The new Steel Redeemer campaign is coming with the Tier VI destroyer Benham as the final reward. This little ship is armed to the teeth with torpedoes, carrying eight per side for a total of sixteen! Such a heavy torpedo armament is unusual for a US Navy destroyer, but players will have to use them in epic ambushes, thanks to their short range. Benham was known primarily for her service during the Battle of Midway, when she rescued hundreds of sailors from the sinking USS Yorktown and USS Hammann. To unlock this ship, players have to complete 80 milestones of the Steel Redeemer campaign over the next 5 weeks with Admiralty Backing–however, some daring Captains can shave a week off of that time if they can complete the campaign’s Hardmode missions!

The entire Russian destroyer tech tree is getting a series of improvements this update to make them more approachable for players. Most notably, they will have their gun range and maneuverability improved across the board to suit their high-speed gunboat playstyle. Altogether, the Russian destroyers should be able to pump out a bit more damage and stay in the fight longer!

The highlight of the update comes October 19th–the Rust ‘n’ Rumble Halloween event! Players can brawl it out in a four-way team deathmatch for command of a sunken post-apocalyptic city to earn Tabz. These will help players upgrade their event ships and unlock unique Rust ‘n’ Rumble commanders and camos. In Rust ‘n’ Rumble battles, there is no hiding. Captains will have to play to the strengths of their chosen destroyers in a good old-fashioned battle with torpedoes, shells, and ships darting everywhere. If they play enough battles, players can even earn a free Tier VI Premium destroyer, the Ognevoi! This torpedo-focused Russian destroyer will be a unique addition to any warship collection.

As always, some small improvements are coming this update–including the Sector Alert. This allows captains to highlight a section of the map to their teammates, which will allow for clear communication and planning in battle.

Get ready for some spooky events and a bunch of updates to World of Warships: Legends and keep on turning the tide!

For the latest DIRT 5 gameplay we head to China to take on a point-to-point Rally Raid event.
Rally Raid is just one of the point-to-point events in DIRT 5, combining split routes, different terrains and incredible landscapes for some awe-inspiring races.

In DIRT 5’s latest gameplay clip you’re seeing a Rally Raid event in China with the driver hurtling through paddy fields, iconic monuments, and traditional villages to create an epic off-road route.

This Rally Raid event also shows off cars from DIRT 5’s Modern Rally class, including the Skoda Fabia R5 and the new Ford Fiesta R5 MKII. Trucks, buggies and many more vehicles can also participate in these events.

“Another layer of unpredictability is added to DIRT 5 in Rally Raid events. Your reflexes must be quick and you’ll need to be prepared for anything that comes your way,” said Robert Karp, DIRT 5 Development Director. “A location like China is perfect for these point-to-point races. The team has created some awesome sprawling routes through a dense and varied environment, that are both visually and technically stunning.”

DIRT 5 will release on November 6, 2020 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, followed by PlayStation 5 later this year. DIRT 5 will be a launch title on Xbox Series S/X, coming November 10, 2020. A Google Stadia version will release in early 2021. The game supports both Xbox Smart Delivery and PlayStation’s free upgrade when players switch to an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5.

Frictional Games is showing off the first gameplay footage of Amnesia: Rebirth in a 5-minute-long video, revealing new environments, puzzles and monsters. Audiences across the world can celebrate Halloween starting October 22 with the release of Warner Bros. Pictures and Robert Zemeckis’s reimagined “The Witches,” premiering exclusively on HBO Max in the U.S.  Zemeckis, the Oscar-winning director and master storyteller who gave us “Forrest Gump,” the Christmas classic “The Polar Express,” and the “Back to the Future” trilogy, brings a fresh sense of humor along with warmth and the unexpected to what is sure to be a Halloween favorite: Roald Dahl’s beloved story The Witches.

In addition to the film’s U.S. debut on HBO Max, the film will fly into theatres internationally beginning October 28.

Zemeckis is joined by a world-class team of filmmakers, including Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro and Kenya Barris, for this fantasy adventure about a young boy who stumbles upon a secret coven of witches and, with the help of his loving grandmother, tries to stop their evil plan to turn the world’s children into mice.
