In a world where COVID-19 has all but canceled our most-favorite holiday, Knott’s Berry Farm emerges as a protector – a guardian, if you will. They have managed to not only celebrate the holiday but also do it safely with the Taste of Fall-O-Ween. The Taste of Fall-O-Ween is the latest in the parks’ tasting events, which are able to circumvent orders to keep theme parks closed by not having any of the rides powered up. It’s a brilliant strategy – one which I am shocked the park down the street, with the mouse, doesn’t do. But, I digress…
The Taste of Fall-O-Ween sees Knott’s Berry Farm fully decked-out for the spooky season. Not only that, but they have brought to the fore a plethora of Halloween-inspired food items for guests to try. With the $35 dollar purchase of a tasting card (that’s your actual ticket to the event now as they cannot sell regular theme park tickets anymore), you get 5 tastings. If you’re still hungry or thirsty after that, of course you can buy additional offerings.

The food is great, as is the overall health safety level of the event. Everyone is wearing masks and the park is being extra careful with sanitizer stations throughout the park and distancing guidelines posted everywhere. The crowds were also very respectful of the health guidelines and at no time did I feel unsafe or in danger of catching creepy crawly germs.
The only thing that could have been better about the Taste of Fall-O-Ween is if they had a scary walk-through option for the adults in addition to the kid-friendly trick or treat trail experience. That way the adults in the crowd could get their Scary Farm itch scratched slightly. Overall, Knott’s Taste of Fall-O-Ween is an outstanding spooky season event and I can’t wait to check out the park’s Merry Farm-style offering, which should be up next!

Disney+, which launched last November giving “The Simpsons” a new streaming home, is now the ultimate entertainment hub for fans of Springfield’s most famous residents. The most recent installment of the Cyberpunk 2077-focused online event started out with Rides of the Dark Future — an in-depth look at the variety of cars, bikes, and other means of transportation in Night City and beyond, including a sneak-peek at a very special ride belonging to the Cyberpunk legend.
Two behind-the-scenes videos followed. Revving Up Night City shows the development team recording audio for the vehicles of the game to help bring them fully to life. In Arch Motorcycle with Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger, both co-founders of the motorcycle company talk details about their collaboration with CD PROJEKT RED on Cyberpunk 2077.
2077 in Style, on the other hand, is all about the look, feel, and fashion of 2077’s most dangerous megalopolis, as well as that of its inhabitants — those famous, infamous, and everyone in-between.
The latest episode of Night City Wire also featured the reveal of an all new CGI teaser — The Diner — showing gamers what it takes to get to the top in the world of the dark future.
Last but not least, during the pre-show segment of the event, a video from the grand finale of the official Cyberpunk 2077 cosplay contest was aired, where finalists presented their creations and a winner was decided.

Cyberpunk 2077 will release November 19th, 2020, for PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Stadia. The game will also be playable on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 consoles when available. At a later date, a free upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077, taking full advantage of next-gen hardware, will become available for owners of the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions respectively.

Warner Bros. Games and NetherRealm Studios today revealed a new Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate gameplay trailer showcasing the return of the Edenian demigod, Rain. As the son of the god Argus, Edenia’s divine Protector, Rain wields a magical power allowing him to harness water and lightning, open dimensional rifts to a previously unknown water realm and even liquefy himself to avoid attacks. He is also equipped with a deadly katar to slash and stab opponents as he fights for his place in Edenia’s pantheon. Rain joins the roster as a new playable fighter on Nov. 17 as part of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and Kombat Pack 2.

You’ve probably got used to story-driven DLCs to video games. Free or paid extensions, that are somehow connected to the main plot. But who said that DLC has to be launched after the full game? We asked the same question ourselves some time ago and decided to create a pre-launch playable introduction to the upcoming “Lust from Beyond”, called “Scarlet”.
