Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Episode One Launch Trailer

April 17, 2017 – Today we are excited to reveal the official launch trailer for Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, which is set to premiere the first of five episodes on April 18th for $4.99 USD or equivalent on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One®, Windows PC, and Mac, as well as available to download on the App Store® and Google Play™. The series will also be available as a special ‘Season Pass Disc’ on May 2nd at retailers across North America for an MSRP of $29.99 USD, and on May 5th at retailers elsewhere across the globe. New Content For NieR: Automata Announced

LOS ANGELES (Apr. 17, 2017) – Fans will soon have more to experience in the world of NieR: Automata™ with today’s announcement from SQUARE ENIX® that a set of downloadable content is coming soon for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Steam®.

The downloadable content (DLC) set, titled “3C3C1D119440927”, will include three exciting new colosseums to challenge, plus additional sub-quests. Upon completion of these quests, players can earn various rewards, including:

  • Costumes from the previous Japanese release, NieR: Replicant, for androids 2B, 9S and A2
  • Records that add special music tracks to the players’ jukebox
  • New equipment and cosmetic accessories such as hairspray that allows you to change the color of 2B and A2’s hair
  • Masks with unique “on equip” effects
  • Special bullets that change the appearance of enemy bullets

Star Wars Battlefront II Officially Announced

ORLANDO, Florida – April 15, 2017Today at Star Wars Celebration, Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA), and Lucasfilm Ltd. announced that Star Wars™ Battlefront II will release on November 17, 2017 worldwide. Building upon the foundation of groundbreaking visuals and authenticity of EA’s Star Wars Battlefront, DICE, Motive and Criterion are teaming up to deliver one of the most expansive Star Wars games to date. Star Wars Battlefront II will allow players to experience the untold story of an Imperial elite special forces soldier in an all-new single player campaign. In epic multiplayer battles, players will be able to pilot a First Order TIE fighter through intense dogfights in space, and play as ground troopers or iconic heroes and villains, such as Yoda and Darth Maul, across all three Star Wars eras.

Starfighter Inc Reaches Kickstarter Goal

SAVANNAH, GA, April 14, 2017 — Impeller’s comeback Kickstarter for Starfighter Inc. has succeeded with time left for additional funding as the campaign closes tomorrow on Saturday, April 15 at 1:50PM EDT. The team felt it was time to celebrate early with fans of their serious science approach to game design and released an in-engine peak at the player’s starting environment in Starfighter Inc.: a carrier’s airlock and spacecraft hangar.

The latest video is noteworthy as it demonstrates much of the game’s core design in one continuous shot: a pilot’s helmet spinning weightless in zero-G , the hard-science on display on an interactive display, the near future visual look and feel, and the voiceover by beloved British actress Emma Samms sets the stage for the evolving multiplayer story of “corporations that are no longer bound by mere terrestrial laws”.

Star Wars Forces of Destiny Animated Shorts Announced

Glendale, Calif. (April 12, 2017 – 9:00PM PST) – Disney and Lucasfilm today announced Star Wars Forces of Destiny, a new initiative celebrating the inspiring stories of iconic heroes from across the Star Warsuniverse. An original series of animated shorts (each 2-3 minutes in length) will explore exciting, all new adventures of key characters including Rey, Jyn Erso, Sabine Wren, Princess Leia, Ahsoka Tano and others, ahead of books and a TV special later in the year. The stories will also be supported by a line of toys from Hasbro, including new ‘Adventure Figures’ – a fusion between traditional dolls and action figures, creating a whole new way to play Star Wars.

“Star Wars Forces of Destiny is for anyone who has been inspired by Leia’s heroism, Rey’s courage, or Ahsoka’s tenacity,” said Kathleen Kennedy, President of Lucasfilm. “We’re thrilled that so many of the original actors are reprising their roles in these shorts which capture the small moments and everyday decisions that shape who these characters are. It is a fun new way for people to experience Star Wars.”

Developed by Lucasfilm Animation, Star Wars Forces of Destiny will remain true to the Star Wars canon, showing how choices both big and small ultimately shape the destinies of beloved characters. Launching in July, the animated micro-series will be available on Disney YouTube ahead of a two-part TV special featuring eight additional shorts on Disney Channel in Fall 2017. Fans will be delighted to hear familiar voices in the series, including: Daisy Ridley (Rey), Felicity Jones (Jyn), Tiya Sircar (Sabine), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano) and Lupita Nyong’o (Maz Kanata as narrator).

Star Wars Forces of Destiny will also be supported by global product extensions, such as books, apparel, bedding, and toys – including the new line of ‘Adventure Figures’ created by Hasbro, which bridges the gap between traditional action figures and dolls.
