Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group, the producers of world-class live events and location-based entertainment experiences, today announced the highly anticipated return of one of LA’s most popular interactive events, Delusion. Officially open to the public on Thursday, September 15th, Thirteenth Floor and Director Jon Braver will once again bring his one-of-a-kind interactive horror theater series to life in the historic Phillips Estate with a new play titled Delusion: Valley of Hollows. Delving into an era never before explored in an interactive theater, the play will explore 1970’s American cults, with a supernatural twist.
“Nothing brings people together more than visceral, live experiences,” commented Braver. “Thirteenth Floor as a company sees beyond the simple jump scare. Delusion is far more than that. I have personally seen lives changed after a harrowing journey through our living, breathing otherworlds.. We need this now more than ever.”
Though Valley of Hollows is a stand alone sequel to 2021’s Reaper’s Remorse, Braver has made sure that returning Delusionals (as he calls them) need not have attended last year’s play. “These plays inspire that campfire effect,” adds Braver. “You live in our stories, then you tell your own. There is something for everyone here.”
Delusionals will play the role of Deprogrammers; those meant to help rescue people from the influence of cults. During the 1970’s there was an influx of cults popping around the United States such as Children of God and The Manson Family. Since the disappearance of Esther Phillips over twenty years ago, a cult known as The Hollows was born. Fanatics from around the world have come to her estate, driven by rumors of a gift beyond this life, if only they would die on her grounds. Playing upon this phenomenon, Delusion will swallow its guests into its most disturbing interactive play to date where they will uncover the truth behind The Hollows.
“We’re thrilled to be opening Delusion for the second year in a row” stated Chris Stafford, CEO and Founding Partner of Thirteenth Floor Entertainment Group. “We’re beyond excited to share another chapter of this very unique series with fans and the public this fall.”

Tentworks Interactive has had to announce a one week delay for the Early Access launch of its multi-business management game, City Block Builder. Originally planned to launch on August 9th, it will now be launching on August 16th on Steam and Xsolla, with pre-orders available on Xsolla beginning August 9th.
“We apologize for the inconvenience,” said Jay Basani, CEO of Tentworks Interactive. “We thought everything was good to go for August 9th, but then noticed some last minute issues we felt compelled to address. We want to ensure that everyone who buys City Block Builder on Early Access has a good experience with it, and we feel like the current build may not accomplish that. The good news is that it will be a very minor delay, and should still be ready to go on August 16th. Thank you for your patience.”
City Block Builder is a mashup of deep tycoon management games with large-scale city building elements. Set in Los Angeles during the 1950s, the game puts you in the shoes of a young, budding entrepreneur who is determined to build their own business empire. Fresh off the victory of WWII, Los Angeles is the pop culture capital of the world. With the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, designer shops, and the finest cuisine money can buy, all under a canopy of clear blue skies, the City of Angels represents the “American Dream” at its most ideal.
As the owner of several establishments, it’s up to you to make every decision, both large and small, about how your enterprise operates. Choose which tiles, wallpapers, and furniture to decorate with. Set the cuisines and menu items for your restaurant. Hire and fire staff. Nobody said building an empire was going to be easy!
The full version of City Block Builder will allow you to erect all manner of trades from cinema theatres, to bowling alleys, to jazz clubs, to drive-in theaters, parlors and more. This Early Access launch focuses entirely on the restaurant building portion of the game, but new businesses will be added as free updates between now and the full launch. A future update will add cinemas, allowing you to decide what movies to show and when, as well as the Story/Campaign Mode.
City Block Builder lets you micromanage each business down to every detail, from its layout, to its lighting, to ensuring the entrance makes optimal use of foot traffic in your bustling borough! City Block Builder encourages players to find creative solutions to complex problems. Setting up the L.A.’s entertainment hub has never been so immersive!
Each detail of City Block Builder is brought to life in glorious detail through hand-drawn art paying homage to the incredible culture of the era. Movies, posters, comic books, and advertisements capture the look and feel of the 1950s with their bold, technicolor palette, dapper outfits, and neat slogans. Even the foliage has been extensively researched to be accurate to the time, changing dynamically with the seasons.
While City Block Builder’s campaign mode will take you from rags to riches as you micro and macro manage each monetary decision, there will also be a Sandbox Mode offering full freedom to create the Los Angeles of your dreams with no expense spared! Every decision you make will set you on a different path giving different players varying outcomes.
Wargaming, publisher and developer of the naval multiplayer free-to-play game World of Warships, is bringing the heat this August with its newest update, packed with content including the return of the steel giant ‘Puerto Rico’, Brazilian Independence Day celebrations and a swathe of camera improvements. On top of all this, Update 0.11.7 brings with it the return of previously released Godzilla vs. Kong content and a number of quality of life changes.
Puerto Rico sails into the Dockyard
Taking the helm of this update is the return of Tier X American cruiser to the Dockyard, which sports 12 powerful 305mm guns spread across four main turrets, strong armour and a good amount of HP. To acquire this cruiser and the rewards coming with her, like the premium Tier VII Commonwealth destroyer Huron, players will need to complete 40 stages of construction before being awarded with the ship which bears a Ceremonial permanent camouflage, and is accompanied by a port slot, a Commander with 10 skill points and a commemorative flag. Those who already have the Puerto Rico in their possession will also be rewarded for their efforts, with the Puerto Rico Certificate which can be exchanged at the Armoury for Doubloons, Steel or Research Points, which will allow players to purchase another tier X ship.
200 years of Brazilian Independence
Celebrating Brazil’s Independence Day, a number of Brazilian rewards are up for grabs in the brand new port of Rio de Janeiro: Tier V Pan-American battleship Rio de Janeiro and its White Swan permanent camouflage, Waves of Copacabana expendable camouflage and a commemorative flag available. The White Swan camouflage is up for grabs as the final reward to players who complete a special chain of combat missions and comes with a special surprise. Rio de Janeiro is equipped with 14 305mm main guns that boast good accuracy and a high salvo weight. With both HE and AP shells and good combat capability, the ship can do significant damage to its enemies but lacks air defense weaponry and has a low-speed threshold.
Two Titans return to battle
Bringing back a favourite IP, World of Warships’ collaboration with Godzilla vs. Kong sees the return of these two behemoths. Premium containers will contain various items from the past year event with possibility of acquiring permanent and expendable camouflages, commanders and economic bonuses. Godzilla and Kong return as commanders for the battleships Tier VIII Amagi and VIII North Carolina with their unique camouflages also making a triumphant return to the seas. Finally in this Warships’ resurrection of Godzilla vs. Kong, Ultimate Titan and Ultimate Guardian expendable camouflages will also be available for purchase once more.
Lights, Combat Camera, Action!
Improving both player experience and convenience, the combat camera has been updated with a narrower field to make the player’s ship the primary focus, and now offers two camera positions to choose from while aiming when using the spotter plane consumable. Two new settings have also been added, enabling the player to set the field of view and camera height from the ship. Camera performance has also been improved for tracking flying projectiles.

Dovetail Games, developer and publisher of authentic simulation titles, today announced the next leap forward for the Train Sim World franchise, Train Sim World 3, releasing on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on Sept. 6. Train Sim World 3 will continue to break new ground in realism with new weather dynamics, longer routes, and a dedicated Training Center designed for new and experienced players alike. The latest iteration will also support add-ons from Train Sim World 2*, allowing players to carry all the routes and engines they own into Train Sim World 3 to continue playing some of their favorite content.
Train Sim World 3 features a brand-new dynamic weather system delivering beautiful volumetric skies, all powered by a new lighting system enhancing realism and immersion. Trains can now be driven through the extremes of weather – snow, thunderstorms, and even the dreaded leaves on the line, each altering the driving experience and requiring players to pay close attention to track conditions. While tiny compared to the mighty machines, leaves on the line pose serious challenges for drivers as they can greatly reduce the friction between wheels and rail that trains need to pull their heavy loads of goods or passengers.
In addition, the new Training Center feature offers a place to learn how to drive the locomotives featured in Train Sim World 3 on a brand-new route. With new gamers continually being introduced to the world of trains and new locomotives being added for experienced players, this feature is designed to ease everyone into the satisfying experience of operating large, powerful machines.
“For Train Sim World 3, the team have done an amazing job enhancing and building on the immersive experience of our previous titles. The new lighting system transforms the visuals along with all-new weather dynamics that will significantly impact the operation of trains in-game,” said Matt Peddlesden, Executive Producer at Dovetail Games. “This and the development of our dedicated Training Center, guiding users through the controls, will see Train Sim World 3 bring existing players new and exciting challenges, whilst giving those new to the franchise an enjoyable introduction to the railway world.”
Three routes demonstrate the variety of railway operations seen across the globe. California’s Cajon Pass, a location popular with railfans, provides the gradients to challenge BNSF’s ES44C4 and SD40-2 locomotives as they haul some of America’s longest trains from San Bernardino to Barstow. In Europe, the power is translated to pure speed as players concentrate on operating Germany’s high-speed ICE 3 and ICE 1 passenger trains across viaducts and through tunnels forming the longest route ever created in the Train Sim World franchise, the 116 mile/187 kilometer Kassel – Würzburg route.
Speed is also pivotal in the extended and enhanced version of the fan favorite Southeastern Highspeed route, depicting the English county of Kent between London, Ashford and Dartford as well as the Chatham main line. Britain’s fastest domestic passenger train, the Class 395 ‘Javelin’, joins the slower, but no less engaging, Class 375 and 465 EMUs on busy commuter services southeast of the capital.
Players of Train Sim World 2 and its add-ons will be able to continue enjoying its wealth of routes and locomotives*, ensuring a smooth transition between titles. Future add-ons will also see locomotives ‘decoupled’ from their routes, allowing more freedom in being able to operate purchased locomotives beyond their intended setting.
A selection of introductory packages will be available, from the “Starter Packs” containing the brand-new Training Center and 1 route expansion, to the Deluxe Edition which includes an upgraded version of the eagerly anticipated “Spirit Of Steam” add-on, that was released earlier this year for Train Sim World 2 and brought steam locomotives to the game for the first time.
Developed and published by Dovetail Games, Train Sim World 3 will release for Windows PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles on Sept. 6, 2022. The title is available for pre-purchase digitally now on Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, and Microsoft Store with a Deluxe Edition available for £49.99/€59.99/$59.99 and four ‘Starter Packs’ each available for £29.99/€35.99/$39.99. The ‘Deluxe Edition’ can be pre-ordered with a 10% discount and all pre-order purchases will grant a 4-day Early Access pass to the game, as well as a bonus decal pack to use within the livery editor to share on Creators Club, the home of player customization in Train Sim World.

The coffee shop management game Coffee Shop Tycoon, developed by Riff Studios, is receiving today a new content patch in the so-called Economy Update. This update features new mechanics that allow everyone to modify the food and beverages pricing, and observe how these prices affect the customers’ perception of each coffee shop. Players can take a further look at the update in this link and get their hands on Coffee Shop Tycoon’s Early Access on Steam for $7.99 / €6,59.
The economy update will let players fix average prices for their food and beverages that will follow the supply and demand laws. But the game will also let them raise or lower prices. Its performance will be tied to the quality of the items sold, so they should be priced accordingly. The better coffees players are able to roast, the most they will be able to charge customers… always within a reasonable range!
ECONOMY UPDATE NEW FEATURES
Each coffee will have a unique price depending on what customers expect to pay for it, and it will be similar to what you’d pay in Starbucks-styled coffee shops. Say goodbye to the $1,000 cup!
Food and coffee prices will be set in different ranges: $5-$15 for coffee, and $5-$25 for food.
The ideal price won’t be the same for all the coffee shops you manage.
Clients will expect expensive products from the best reputated places. Those who frequent a Diamond Bean coffee shop will be willing to pay more than those who usually visit a Bronze Bean cafe.
The performance of each beverage will be tied to the quality of the beans and the roasting feature. The better coffee players are able to produce, the higher the prices could be set!
