The cinematic launch trailer for The Occultist centers on Alan Rebels, voiced by Doug Cockle (e.g. The Witcher series). In a quiet bar, he sits over his notes, unable to escape the memories of Godstone.
Blending cinematic in-engine sequences with fragmented memories and personal notes, the trailer frames the island not just as a place, but as a presence. The footage offers a focused look at the game’s psychological tension, where exploration and narrative are tightly intertwined.
Alan Rebels is brought to life by Doug Cockle, known for his role as Geralt in The Witcher game series. His performance reinforces the game’s character-driven approach, grounding the unfolding events in a personal and increasingly oppressive perspective.
The Occultist will release on April 8, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

The magic is returning for one last spell. *Wizards Beyond Waverly Place*, the hit continuation of the Emmy® Award-winning Disney Channel classic, will conclude with a special four-part event this summer on Disney+, Disney Channel, and Disney Channel On Demand. Production for the final installment is slated to begin next week.
In a major milestone for the franchise, executive producer Selena Gomez will make her directorial debut helming the event’s premiere episode. She will also reprise her iconic role as Alex Russo across multiple episodes. The story picks up after a dramatic Season 2 cliffhanger, with Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown) still reeling from the loss of Alex. To rescue her mother, Billie must track down her long-lost father, ultimately bringing the Russo family together to combine their powers and defeat a looming evil.
Since its debut, the revival has successfully bridged the gap between nostalgic fans and a new generation. The series has amassed over 101 million views on the Disney Channel YouTube page and ranked as a top-five streaming title among key youth and young adult demographics (ages 6–24) upon its launch.
The ensemble cast includes David Henrie (Justin Russo), Alkaio Thiele (Roman Russo), Max Matenko (Milo Russo), Taylor Cora (Winter), and Mimi Gianopulos (Giada Russo). Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas serve as writers and executive producers, joined by an executive producing team that includes Gomez, Henrie, Gary Marsh, Jonas Agin, and Rick Williams.
Fans looking to catch up before the summer finale can stream all episodes of the first two seasons now on Disney+. The original *Wizards of Waverly Place*, created by Todd Greenwald, ran from 2007 to 2012 and famously launched Gomez’s career as a multiplatinum, GRAMMY® Award-nominated recording artist and highly sought-after actress.

MicroProse is proud to announce that it will publish Scourge of the Reptiles, a party-based tactical RPG set in a prehistoric low-fantasy world where magic, war, and colossal beasts collide.
Alongside the announcement, a brand-new trailer has been released, offering a first look at the game’s tactical combat, dinosaur-mounted warfare, and the mysterious force driving these ancient creatures into rebellion.
In Scourge of the Reptiles, a devastating meteor grants magical abilities to humans, elves, and dinosaurs alike, triggering conflict across kingdoms and unleashing a threat that spreads far beyond the hero’s quiet beginnings. As dinosaurs begin to turn against their masters, players must assemble a party, build strength in the wilderness, and uncover the source of this growing chaos.
Blending classic tactical RPG gameplay with deep systemic design, Scourge of the Reptiles places a strong emphasis on positioning, strategy, and player choice. Players will command a party of warriors, sorcerers, and dinosaur companions, navigating a world where every encounter can be approached in multiple ways-through combat, cunning, or careful preparation.
At the heart of the experience lies a unique twist: dinosaurs are not just enemies, but powerful allies, mounts, and tactical tools that can shape the outcome of every battle.

The Spearhead update brings all core systems together into a more unified experience. The goal is to give players more control and a better balance between realism and gameplay.
“We’re seeing many gamers say this feels like a completely new game, and that’s exactly what we set out to achieve,” says Rick Lagnese, PR Director at MADFINGER Games. “Spearhead brings everything together, from progression to combat to world design, into a more cohesive experience that gives players more control and a stronger sense of immersion.”
The progression based quest system has been redesigned into a more dynamic and replayable loop. Players unlock missions based on reputation across different regions. Tasks are now divided into main missions, side missions, and contracts, encouraging players to explore different approaches and earn additional rewards.
Spearhead adds over 100 new tasks and contracts, more than 25 new locations, 8 new weapons, over 380 weapon parts, and 150 pieces of gear. Core systems including AI, loot, tactical map, economy, and ballistics have been updated to improve clarity and flow. Weapons, environmental audio, and damage feedback have been improved, and player and enemy animations have been fully reworked to feel more responsive and realistic.
Players return to Lamang with a more dynamic and interactive world. New biomes such as swamps and bamboo forests expand exploration, while improved visibility makes navigation and combat clearer. Seven AI controlled enemy factions with distinct gear and visuals require players to adapt their tactics.
New players benefit from an onboarding tutorial with an obstacle course and shooting range, supported by a detailed field manual. The number of NPCs has nearly doubled, and the in game economy has been reworked to create a more balanced experience. As well, creators will be participating in Twitch Drops and Support-A-Streamer, giving all players plenty of additional ways to engage at launch.
Devolver Digital (BALL x PIT, Baby Steps) and developer Artifcer (Showgunners, Sumerian Six) have revealed the April 9 launch date for Minos, a labyrinth-building, strategic puzzle game where you protect the fabled minotaur from “heroes” eager to invade his sanctuary and slay him for fame and glory.
Minos expands on and adds agency to the fates of Asterion, the former King now cursed to live on as the minotaur, and Daedalus, the genius creator of the sentient labyrinth you’ll feed the blood of adventurers to. Devise masterful, devious plans by dragging walls, gates and corridors into place to shape your maze however you like. Make long, winding paths full of traps or confuse and split the interlopers up with rotating passages and shifting gates. It’s your maze: clever or cruel, it’s up to you.
Every run in Minos brings new enemies, new traps and new ways to turn their bravery into a bloody disaster. No two nights are ever the same, and as you play, you’ll learn more about this not-so-mythical minotaur and the man who became it.
