reMarkable today announced reMarkable Paper Pure, the easiest way to bring the freedom and benefits of handwriting into a busy digital workday. Built on more than a decade of paper tablet innovation, it combines advanced digital paper technology with new software features that simplify everyday work tasks. reMarkable Paper Pure will begin shipping to consumers in early June, starting at $399.

It closes the gap between how we think and work in a way only a paper tablet can. reMarkable’s best black-and-white paper tablet
reMarkable’s paper tablets are digital notebooks that feel like pen on paper when you use them. They come with smart tools that help users refine, organize, and share their thoughts.

reMarkable Paper Pure offers the same advanced textured writing surface as reMarkable Paper Pro, the company’s flagship paper tablet. Below the writing surface, the third-generation black-and-white Canvas display is reMarkable’s crispest, whitest yet. Write, mark up documents, or sketch, and digital ink appears in just 21 milliseconds — faster than the blink of an eye. Navigating, zooming, and turning pages is up to twice as fast as on the company’s previous black-and-white paper tablet, reMarkable 2.
reMarkable Paper Pure is powered by reMarkable’s longest-lasting battery ever. It lasts up to three weeks on one charge, an estimate based on about one hour of daily note-taking. At just 360 g (0.79 lb) and 6 mm (0.24 inches) thin, with grooved sides inspired by a stack of paper, reMarkable Paper Pure looks and feels like a never-ending notebook.
reMarkable Paper Pure is made of 38% recycled materials, the most of any reMarkable product. This includes 100% of the lithium and cobalt in the battery, 90% of the magnesium in the central frame, and 73% of the plastic in the rear cover. The paper tablet is held together with screws and snaps, not glue, making it easy for professionals to repair. At 28.7 kg CO2e, its carbon footprint is 45% lower than that of reMarkable 2.
reMarkable Paper Pure supports the same digital pens as reMarkable Paper Pro and reMarkable Paper Pro Move: Marker and Marker Plus. The new Sleeve Folio, available in three fresh colors, provides wraparound protection for both reMarkable Paper Pure and the attached pen.
Work moves freely, from pen to laptop

- Create meeting note: Link reMarkable Paper Pure to Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook, and the paper tablet can create meeting notes prefilled with information with a tap, reducing time spent preparing for meetings.
- Convert to notebook: Import documents from Microsoft Word and OneDrive, Dropbox, and Google Drive, and reMarkable Paper Pure turns them into paper tablet-native text documents, perfect for reading and marking up with a pen.

- Starting today, customers can order reMarkable Paper Pure on remarkable.com, with the first shipments to customers beginning in early June.
