Rune Coming to Steam Early Access in Sept

August 14, 2018 – Human Head Studios and ESDF have announced with a new teaser trailer that Rune, the open-world viking RPG, will arrive on Steam Early Access this September. Players can get a taste of Rune’s action beforehand by signing up for the upcoming closed beta through the game’s official website.

The beta will begin Saturday, Aug. 18, from 1:00 p.m. EDT to 5:00 p.m. EDT, with servers available in the U.S. and Europe. Only those who have signed up have a chance of getting an early look at the game!

Inspired by the legends of Norse mythology, Rune takes place in Midgard during Ragnarok, the end of days. Venture by land and sea across a once-beautiful world ravaged by the schemes of the trickster deity, Loki. Choose your god, complete quests in their name, and use their unique blessings to free the world from Loki’s grip. Discover mighty weapons and armor, drink mead, and vanquish giant monsters, feral beasts, the living and the undead with ferocious Viking brutality. UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif., ORLANDO, Fla. (August 14, 2018) – Beginning on Friday, September 14, Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers, from Trancas International Films, takes a stab at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, bringing the notorious slasher to Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort in all-new mazes inspired by the iconic horror film.

Based on the fourth installment in the classic slasher series created by John Carpenter, the mazes will transport guests to the suburban town of Haddonfield, Illinois on Halloween night where Myers has escaped Smith’s Grove Sanitarium and is hungry for revenge. This time, he relentlessly stalks his niece Jamie as his next victim, stopping at nothing to kill her.

Guests will follow Myers as he escapes the mental hospital, encounters his first victims at Penney’s Gas Station and Diner, and wreaks terror on Haddonfield, all set to Alan Howarth’s ominous score. The maze will include horrifying scares by Myers in his classic featureless white mask and navy jumpsuit, with guests dodging his bloody knife at every turn. Halloween fanatics can expect a cameo by Myer’s psychiatrist Dr. Loomis and other famous characters from the film as they try to escape the bloodbath.

World of Tanks: Mercenaries to Take Over Chicago’s Cantigny Park

August 13, 2018 – World of Tanks: Mercenaries, the global gaming phenomenon enjoyed by over 15 million players on PlayStation 4 and Xbox, is taking over Chicago’s Cantigny Park on September 15, 2018, for a massive fan event, which promises to bring tons of fun activities for locals and fans alike!

Wargaming will host multiple gaming stations at the park where attendees can jump into over 690 different metal monsters from over 10 nations and duke it out on Mercenaries’ digital battlefields. The game’s Chicago-based development team, Wargaming West, will also host special presentations during the event. Attendees can look forward to getting a greater insight into the development process, talk to the creators of one of the world’s most popular free-to-play console games and maybe even get a sneak peek at what the future of Mercenaries holds…

The Cantigny Park gathering will also offer something special to those in attendance! In-game codes and merchandise will be given out to fans and visitors throughout the event via raffles, giveaways and in-game competitions, so keep an eye out during the event to make sure you don’t miss out on your chance to win some fantastic Wargaming and World of Tanks: Mercenaries swag.

But wait, there’s more! As part of the event, visitors can enjoy private tours of the newly-redesigned First Division Museum, a fixture of Cantigny Park dedicated to the United States Army’s 1st Infantry Division.
