Managers won’t just meet expectations this season, they’ll crush them with Football Manager 2023 out now across multiple platforms. FM23 on PC and Mac is available from Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store with fans able to download and play now. Those who have been enjoying the FM23 Early Access Beta on Steam or Epic can simply quit and restart the relevant launcher and the game will update to the full release build. All single-player progress made in the Early Access Beta will automatically carry forward.
Fans purchasing physical copies of FM23 will notice that this year’s edition does not include a disc. Instead, every pack contains a unique code that, once redeemed, enables play via Steam, Epic Games or the Microsoft Store. Removing the disc and notebook from this year’s edition, in addition to further refinements to our eco-packaging, means that the overall carbon footprint for FM23’s packaging is 47% lower than FM22’s.
To mark the release of FM23, Sports Interactive has released a launch trailer featuring Manchester City stars Rodri, Phil Foden and İlkay Gündoğan that showcases the ways a manager can elevate their squads and deliver success on the pitch for their club’s fans.
Sports Interactive Studio Director Miles Jacobson said: “I’m delighted that we’re able to release Football Manager 2023 today across the world.
“More than 8.8 million matches were played during the Early Access Beta and with strong pre-order and pre-registration interest shown across our whole range, we’re sure that FM23 will continue our tradition of providing the best value-for-money games on the market.”
With major additions and improvements to core areas of the game, FM23 elevates the long-running series to new heights.
Today also marks a debut for the Football Manager franchise, with FM23 Touch stepping out on to the pitch through Apple Arcade.
Following last year’s success, FM23 and FM23 Console are available with Xbox Game Pass from launch. As such, all Xbox Game Pass subscribers can start their careers on PC or Console* from Day One at no extra cost. Completing the squad for this season, FM23 Mobile is now available for download from the App Store and Google Play and Football Manager 2023 Touch (Nintendo Switch™) is also now live on the Nintendo eShop. Those who pre-ordered on iOS devices will be able to play immediately.
The release of the PlayStation 5 version of Football Manager™ 2023 Console will be later than planned due to unforeseen complications which have arisen during the submissions and approvals process. SEGA and Sports Interactive will update on this matter at the earliest opportunity.
CCP Games today launched EVE: Uprising, the latest narrative-driven expansion for spacefaring MMO EVE Online. Following months of construction by the Amarr empire, an activated Prototype Stellar Transmuter in the Turnur system has destabilized, its unstable technology triggering the fury of its system’s sun to scorch an entire planet. In the aftermath of the inferno, the intrepid pilots of New Eden must rally to determine the future of EVE Online’s empires. Fly your colors and fight on the frontlines to expand your faction’s reach across the stars.
“Our goal with EVE: Uprising is to give our community more control over New Eden’s vast solar systems and strengthen their connection to others, whether they are NPC groups or fellow capsuleers,” said Bergur Finnbogason, EVE Online’s Creative Director. “The decisions that you, your friends and your rivals make, will set the course for EVE’s future. Every in-game action and reaction holds weight, contributing to a domino effect of gripping outcomes.”
The future of war rests in the hands of New Eden’s capsuleers with a combat-intense update to Factional Warfare (FW). As battle lines are drawn, players can use new Frontline and Advantage features within FW to focus their efforts towards key, emerging conflicts where history will be written once more. With three operational states (Frontlines, Command Operations or Rearguard), systems now provide a range of rewards dependent on their proximity to enemy territory as well as gameplay properties which affect the field of battle. By conquering enemy territory, the Advantage feature allows players to give their chosen faction an edge in the warzone; from building propaganda structures to completing system-based activities, the more involved your faction is the greater the victory. As FW evolves, players will see the battlefield of New Eden pose new challenges, threats and unexpected consequences.
Unlocking a bright future for personalization through the new Paragon Corporation, pilots can add a variety of alliance and corporation emblems to decorate their ships and fly their colors via the first phase of the Heraldry system. Players interested in displaying their alliance or corporation emblems on hulls can locate Paragon Corporation agents at designated stations throughout EVE Online’s busiest trade systems. Emblems are obtained via an exchange system, where players submit crafted hulls for their emblem of choice.
In anticipation of the war to come, empires have ramped up their innovation on the production line. Eager pilots can now build hulls for new destroyers and dreadnaughts across each empire, totaling 8 new ships in addition to the 8 frigates and battlecruisers released last month. You can admire your ships in new visually-immersive hangars within certain player-owned structures, showcasing a new level of graphical fidelity for EVE Online.
EVE: Uprising also includes a range of other improvements to sound and visuals across the board. With the latest iteration to EVE Evolved, players will hear refined turret audio and soundtracks for FW sites, plus benefit from AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 1.0 and the addition of Object Instancing and Ambient Occlusion. With today’s launch of a dedicated Spanish-language client, players from around the world can now benefit from fully localized audio and text across EVE Online.
From smoother frame-rates and new localization options, to improved shading and rendering across all EVE assets, there has never been a better time to jump-in and explore the universe of New Eden.
Further information about EVE: Uprising, Factional Warfare feature updates, Navy ships, and more can be found in this blog post.

Paradox Interactive and Iceflake Studios today released Shattered Hope, the second expansion for their survival colony builder, Surviving the Aftermath. This expansion builds upon the game’s world with the Shattered Moon calamity, adding both the ability to boost resource production and the task of maintaining survivors’ hope. Surviving the Aftermath: Shattered Hope is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC at a suggested retail price of 9.99 USD / 7.99 GBP / 9.99 EUR.
In Shattered Hope, the Moon is destroyed and pieces of it descend to the Earth’s surface. This disaster has a silver lining in the form of moon rock deposits, which can be gathered to increase resource production. Survivors must also come together to find hope to persevere, or else they will be plagued by anguish. Balance resources and survivors’ resolve in this human nature-centered expansion to Surviving the Aftermath’s colony management gameplay.
Surviving the Aftermath: Shattered Hope Key Features:
Face the Moonfall and use it to your advantage with the new Building Boost mechanic
The Moon is shattered in the sky and its fragments are crushing down on Earth leaving behind them devastation – but also moon rock deposits. You can refine lunar fragments and obtain lunar dust which will be used to increase the production of your buildings for a limited time. This new building boost mechanic is called overtime.
Keep your hopes up, and feast!
Hope is a new global value that decreases over time and when catastrophes happen in the game. If kept too low for too long, it will trigger a new condition called anguish that, if left untreated, may turn your colonists hostile. So, keep your hope as high as possible by holding feasts at the new colony square building.
New production chain: take care of your colonists
When colonists experience anguish, you can help them by building a trauma center where they will heal. They will recover faster thanks to a brand new medicine called antistress. To make it, you’ll have to grow raw resources on the mushroom farm, then refine them into the actual medicine in the med hut building.
Fans of sport, fantasy and turn-based tactics: do a stadium wave for Blood Bowl 3! The madcap turn-based strategy game set in the Warhammer universe will be available on 23 February 2023 for PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
In the fantasy world of Warhammer, diplomacy is usually left on the sidelines in exchange for a more brutal approach to solving conflicts. And Blood Bowl is no different, but it takes place in a stadium, with a ball, and the number of casualties is usually lower. Under the patronage of the god Nuffle, two teams go head-to-head on a pitch similar to an American football field and try to score more touchdowns than their opponent.
In Blood Bowl 3, you take on the role of coach and build a team from one of the Blood Bowl factions, which includes humans, orcs, dwarfs, elves and other creatures from the Warhammer world. You manage and upgrade your team off the field, then control your players in turn-based matches by giving orders to each player: grab the ball, mark an opposing player, and of course, dish out some punches, whacks and thumps… in other words, knock down opponents so you can score some touchdowns.
Based on the latest edition of the legendary board game, Blood Bowl 3 is a fantastic virtual experience that beautifully complements the physical game. This edition adds a variety of new features, including dedicated passing statistics, a range of playing fields with their own gameplay rules, coaches, multiple cheerleaders, and exciting Star Players.
And, of course, everyone’s favourite dynamic duo Jim and Bob are back giving their signature play-by-play commentary for every action on the field, whether it’s a tactical move or brutal tackle.
At launch, the game will feature 12 factions, including 4 playable for the first time in a Blood Bowl video game. Each faction has its own unique characteristics and related content. There are also single-player and multiplayer modes as well as more customization options than ever before. Follow us on our social media channels to ensure you don’t miss any news!
Following its outstanding reception at Steam NextFest, today Playstack and Stubby Games invite players worldwide to think in reverse and outsmart the impossible in The Entropy Centre as it arrives on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.
Featuring deviously demanding puzzles and razor-sharp wit, The Entropy Centre has struck a chord with first-person puzzle fans, having amassed more than 100,000 Wishlists in the past six months alone. The entire project has been developed by a sole developer, Daniel Stubbington, who has been painstakingly crafting the project over two years.
Earth has suffered an extinction-level event and you appear to be the only survivor, stranded on a colossal space station in near-orbit of the planet set ablaze. With the aid of ASTRA—a talking gun capable of moving objects back in time— players must overcome ingeniously complex puzzle rooms in order to progress to the core of The Entropy Centre facility.
The truth behind The Entropy Centre’s imminent collapse, and Earth’s demise, can be found at the heart of this sprawling facility. But will players accept what awaits?
“We were blown away by the sheer number of people who played and loved The Entropy Centre’s demo at NextFest, and as an expression of gratitude to our amazing community, we have decided to keep the demo live on Steam indefinitely,” said Playstack chief executive Harvey Elliott.
He added: “We’ve always been huge believers in The Entropy Centre, and to see it receive overwhelming praise for its brilliant puzzles and razor-sharp humour is a wonderful validation. With today’s worldwide launch, we are delighted that players can finally experience the game for themselves.”
Elgato, a leading provider of hardware and software for content creators, today unveiled Facecam Pro, the first ever webcam to sport 4K capture at 60 frames per second. Boasting a large area Sony sensor, a wide-angle photographic lens with variable focus, a revolutionary image processor, and onboard flash memory, the premium plug-and-play webcam allows creators to produce Ultra High Definition video without the need for an elaborate camera setup. This groundbreaking technology combined with Elgato’s powerful Camera Hub software makes Facecam Pro the new benchmark in the global webcam industry.
Facecam Pro features the studio-grade f/2.0 21 mm Elgato Autofocus Lens, which can also be set manually within a focus range of 10 cm / 4 in. to infinity. A field of view up to 90 degrees allows for wide studio shots or group video calls, while the state-of-the-art, large area 1/1.8″ SONY® STARVIS™ Sensor captures exceptional detail, even when using effects like pan, tilt, and zoom, or when lighting is suboptimal. Rounding off the webcam’s high-end performance is Elgato’s latest image signal processor, a powerhouse of a chip that is responsible for encoding and streaming 4K60 video via USB 3.0 with ultra-low latency – all while facilitating instant light correction, automatic noise reduction, and a slew of other nano-computations that deliver phenomenal video quality in any setting. Even when using apps that do not support 4K60 video input, the processor applies an advanced algorithm that turns raw 4K60 video into 1080p60 video, allowing you to stream better-looking Full HD video than you would with a standard 1080p webcam.
“Last year’s launch of Facecam was our first step in pushing webcam technology and performance forward. Facecam Pro represents a leap,” said Julian Fest, SVP and GM of Elgato. “We didn’t set out to build another webcam. Instead, we set out to pioneer a state-of-the-art camera with plug and play connectivity and incredibly video quality. Alongside our other webcam products – EpocCam, Cam Link 4K, Cam Link Pro, Facecam – we now offer an incredible suite of solutions for content creators, remote workers, even professional broadcasters.”
Elgato once again offers an exemplary software-enhanced user experience in the form of Camera Hub, which gives you DSLR-like control of settings such as field of view, exposure, and white balance. Cinematic PTZ effects – namely pan, tilt, and zoom – can be applied without pixilation thanks to Facecam Pro’s powerful sensor and ISP, while creators with GeForce RTX GPUs can benefit from NVIDIA Broadcast integration, which enables AI-powered effects like background replacement and cinematic background blur. With one mouse click, Camera Hub settings are saved directly to Facecam Pro for instant recall when restarting or switching computers. Like all Elgato software, Camera Hub works with Stream Deck for instant, tactile control of camera settings, and integration with your entire audiovisual setup. The Camera Hub plugin, updated for Facecam Pro and available today on the Stream Deck Store, enables you to trigger preset pan, tilt, and zoom transitions by simply tapping a key on Stream Deck.
Facecam Pro comes with a robust monitor mount that features an industry standard ¼-inch thread for attaching the webcam to Elgato Multi Mount or any compatible tripod. Also included is a USB-C to USB-C cable to get you connected right out of the box.
Whether you’re just getting started or looking to upgrade, Facecam Pro equips you with industry-leading hardware and software to create professional 4K60 video of the highest caliber.
