Arma 3 Tac-Ops DLC Singleplayer Mission Pack Announced

November 9, 2017 – Bohemia Interactive today unveiled the next downloadable content (DLC) for their PC-exclusive tactical military shooter, Arma 3. Available later this month on November 30, the Arma 3 Tac-Ops DLC Singleplayer Mission Pack challenges players to take part in three distinct military operations.

The Arma 3 Tac-Ops DLC Mission Pack consists of a set of missions that provide a true combat experience in an unrestricted war zone. Here, players will need to lead their brothers in arms through situations that require careful preparation, tactical movement and positioning, and skillful shooting – as well as the ability to adapt and improvise at a moment’s notice. The missions should take at least 8+ hours to complete altogether, which soon becomes more depending on people’s playstyle and difficulty settings. Players are also strongly encouraged to replay the missions with a different approach – or even from another unit’s perspective in some of the operations.

Dreadnought PC Open Beta Update

November 9, 2017 – Grey Box, Six Foot and independent developer YAGER have released the 1.9.5 update for the Windows PC open beta of Dreadnought, the class-based spaceship action game. This update adds new variations for the Ryugu Haven and Ixion maps, as well as the new Zilant hero ship, available today in the marketplace.

Squads now support up to four players each – up from three – allowing two complete squads per team in 8v8 battles. The update also introduces precise combat damage numbers to better show players how effective their abilities are with every shot. What’s more, you can now requeue after matches and jump right back into the action without having to return to the hangar each time. Holiday in the Park Special Events

Holiday in the Park’s opening weekend features two special events Sunday, Nov. 19. The morning begins with the Santa Run 5K race at 11 a.m., and an Elf Run 1K for kids that includes a meet-and-greet with Santa at noon. Tickets and registration are available online. TheHoliday Express band will perform at 4 p.m. and the show is free with park admission. Holiday Express is comprised of 1,700 volunteers including more than 100 professional musicians and delivers music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those in need during the holiday season.

On December 9, Six Flags theme parks across the country will host Six Flags Snow Day and invite guests to participate in the world’s largest snowball fight. Participation is limited and free with theme park admission. Guests will receive soft, indoor snow balls to toss during this family-friendly event. The Central Jersey Blood Center will host a holiday blood drive December 10 in the park’s Employment Center from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Guests who donate a pint of blood will receive one theme park ticket valid for Holiday in the Park. The Game Awards 2017 Announced for December 7

LOS ANGELES (November 9, 2017) – The video game industry’s biggest night, and one of the Internet’s biggest live stream events, is about to get even bigger. Today The Game Awards announced that its 2017 gala event, scheduled to air live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 7 in 4K Ultra HD format, will celebrate the best games, eSports, and members of the gaming community with a live stream available on more than 16 gaming and digital streaming platforms, including localized versions for Chinese, South Korean and Japanese audiences. Hailed by The New York Times as “The Oscars of the gaming world,” The Game Awards reached over 8.5 million viewers in 2016. 2K Previews WWE SuperCard Season 4

November 8, 2017 – 2K today announced new details surrounding key features in WWE SuperCard – Season 4, the action-packed collectible card-battling game with more than 15 million global downloads to date. Arriving with Season 4 are a new unified leaderboard and league system for PVP game modes, as well as the series debut of the PVP-centric Elimination Chamber mode:

Unified PVP Leagues – Overview:

  • Weekly Leagues will appear for one of three game modes – ‘War’ (previously known as Ranked Mode), ‘Royal Rumble’ and ‘Elimination Chamber,’ with only one of the three game modes active at any time for players to compete for spots on their PVP league leaderboard;
  • Leagues consist of 30 players who are battling their way through four different tiers – Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. There will also be Global Leaderboards and Rewards;
  • At the end of each League, the top five players will move up a tier, while the bottom five will move down a tier. Competitive Points (CP) are rewarded to players based on their final league standings. The new week will always start and end on a Monday.

Unified PVP Leagues – Rewards:

  • Players will earn Competitive Points (CP) for winning matches and a chance to earn additional end of week CP for performance and placement;
  • CP can be used in the new CP Store to purchase cards, packs and card backs.

Unified PVP Leagues – Momentum System:

  • The Momentum System is an exciting new way for players to get a head start on the competition. Momentum is earned throughout play to unlock powerful boosts for the next League, which are called Momentum Slots;
  • There are up to five Momentum Slots that can be unlocked for each week’s League, and WWE Superstars who are placed in these Momentum slots gain a stat boost before each match.

Elimination Chamber – New Game Mode:

  • Elimination Chamber is a brand new game mode included in the unified PVP system;
  • This mode uses female WWE Superstars for players to build decks of 10 cards to face off;
  • The key to winning in this mode is to have an intimate knowledge of female Superstar cards and which types of matches were previously held.

Insta360 Releases Waterproof Housing

November 8, 2017 – Insta360 today launched the waterproof housing accessory for its 4K 360-degree action camera, the Insta360 ONE. The easy-to-use housing is backed with an IP68 rating, meaning that it’s protected against dust, splashing and submersion in water.

Once users pop their ONE into the housing, the camera is operable with a simple button on the outside of the housing or via Bluetooth control.

With the new housing, which weighs only 3.17 ounces (90 grams) and has a 9HD hardness rating, users will be able to capture stunning 360 video in a huge range of settings – from white-water rafting to rainforest treks. 

The housing protects the ONE from water at depths of up to 30 meters. The camera, however, is not specifically designed for underwater video capture – the refraction that light undergoes as it passes through water can result in stitching lines between the images captured by the ONE’s two lenses.

But thanks to the ONE’s unique FreeCapture function, users can easily reframe the best parts of an underwater 360 video as standard, “flat” content to avoid stitching lines.

TPCAST Now Available for US Pre-Order
