Razer Blade 16 Expands Lineup with New 64GB Memory Configuration

Razer™, the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, today announced the 2026 evolution of the Razer Blade 16. While maintaining its iconic, industry-leading chassis as the thinnest gaming laptop4 in Razer’s history, the new 2026 model shifts into a new gear of performance for gamers, content creators, and professionals who demand power on the go.

By prioritizing the latest silicon breakthroughs from Intel and faster-than-ever memory clock speeds, the new Blade 16 is engineered for those who demand the latest-generation processing in a form factor that remains impossibly slim.

Power and Portability, Redefined.

  • Desktop‑class performance in a 16‑inch ultra‑thin chassis.
  • Next-gen Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 386H – a 33% increase in cores over the previous Blade 16
  • NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 50 Series Laptop GPU for hyper-realistic gameplay and uncompromised visual fidelity.
  • Brighter QHD+ 240 Hz OLED display with VESA DisplayHDR™ TrueBlack 1000 certification
  • Fastest available RAM with up to 64 GB of LPDDR5-9600 MHz memory for near-instant responsiveness.
  • Significantly improved battery life for longer productivity and playback
  • Thunderbolt 5, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, and an upgraded 6‑speaker audio system powered by THX.

Portable Performance, Dialed Up.

At the heart of the 2026 Blade 16 is the new Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 processor 386H. With 16 cores and up to 4.9GHz max turbo frequency, this processor delivers a significant boost for dense workloads and gaming. An integrated NPU provides up to 50 TOPS of AI acceleration for tasks such as image generation, content creation, and live translation.

The system can be configured with up to 64 GB of the fastest available laptop memory – LPDDR5X-9600 MHz, providing exceptional bandwidth for demanding creative suites, development tools, and AI-assisted applications.

Powered by NVIDIA Blackwell, GeForce RTX 50 Series Laptop GPUs bring game-changing capabilities to gamers and creators. Equipped with a massive level of AI horsepower, the RTX 50 Series enables new experiences and next-level graphics fidelity. Multiply performance with NVIDIA DLSS 4, generate images at unprecedented speed, and unleash creativity with NVIDIA Studio.

To ensure stable performance inside an ultrathin chassis, the Blade 16 uses a refined vapor chamber cooling system, ultrathin fins, and dual fans tuned for consistent heat dissipation over long sessions.

For users looking to further maximize both graphics and thermal performance, the new Blade 16 is compatible with Razer’s HyperBoost feature, enabled by the Razer Laptop Cooling Pad. With the Cooling Pad connected, users will be able to boost select Razer Blade models by up to 175W TGP, something no other cooling pad in the market currently offers.

As a Copilot+ PC5, the Blade 16 unlocks Windows 11 unique experiences, enabling users to generate images with Cocreator6 at unprecedented speeds and enjoy real-time translation in Live Captions7 for international content.

Visual Perfection. OLED Brilliance.

The Blade 16 continues to set the bar for Blade displays with a 16inch QHD+ (2560 x 1600) OLED panel running at 240 Hz, now 100 nits brighter. It is among a select group of devices to achieve the VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 1000 rating, bringing true blacks, a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and peak brightness up to 1100 nits in HDR mode for vivid, lifelike visuals.

  • Pro-Grade Calibration: Every display is Calman Verified with custom-calibrated color profiles to ensure accuracy out of the box.
  • Color Authority: Designed for creators who demand perfection, the display covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut for true-to-life colors.
  • Unmatched Speed: Competitive gamers will benefit from a silky-smooth 240 Hz refresh rate and a near-instant 0.2 ms response time, supported by NVIDIA G-SYNC® to eliminate screen tearing for ultra-responsive gameplay.

Ultra-Thin. Ultra-Efficient.

With a thickness of just 14.9 mm (0.59 inches) and a weight of approximately 2.14 kg (4.71 lbs), the new Blade 16 remains the thinnest Blade from Razer, striking a balance between portability and high-end performance.

Leveraging new low-power cores in Intel’s latest architecture and platform-level optimization, the Blade 16 delivers significantly better efficiency in productivity workloads compared to the 2025 model.

This translates to up to 13 hours of productivity use and up to 15 hours of video playback under defined conditions3, enabling longer work and entertainment sessions away from an outlet.

Next-Gen Connectivity

Built for a world that demands speed and reliability, the 2026 Blade 16 features a massive upgrade to its connectivity suite.

  • Thunderbolt 5: Enjoy speeds up to 120 Gbps8 for lightning-fast file transfers and seamless multi-monitor setups.
  • Bluetooth 6.0 & Wi-Fi 7: Future-proof wireless experience with the latest standards for ultra-low latency and stable connections.
  • Comprehensive Port Selection: The chassis remains lean yet capable, featuring three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a Thunderbolt 5 port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, a full-sized HDMI 2.1 port, and a UHS-II SD Card Reader.

Immersive 6-Speaker Audio with THX Spatial Audio+

Audio is brought to life through an upgraded 6-speaker system featuring four tweeters and two subwoofers. Designed for a richer, more balanced soundscape, the all-new THX Spatial Audio+ architecture introduces 7.1.4 Surround Sound capabilities when listening over 3.5mm jack headphones, allowing users to experience virtual height channels for content that provides audio cues from above.

With THX Spatial Audio+ over either speakers or compatible headphones, users can enjoy pinpoint positional accuracy and true-to-life realism that breathes new life into games, films, and music, and experience a competitive edge derived from immersive life-like audio cues.

The Blade Advantage

Each Blade is precisionmilled from a single block of T6grade aluminum, creating a rigid unibody chassis that ensures structural durability and premium build quality. For the Blade 16, a sand‑blasted texture removes surface blemishes and impurities, while an anodized matte finish bonds color to the metal for improved durability. A fingerprint‑resistant coating is also applied to help maintain a clean look in daily use.

All Blades released in 2026, including the Blade 16, represent the second generation of models to use recycled aluminum in the chassis, supporting Razer’s goal of incorporating recycled materials across 100% of its product lineups by 2030.

Packaging for the Blade line has also been redesigned without plastic bubble wrap, using an engineered cardboard structure for impact protection, FSC-certified cardboard, and soy-based inks to reduce reliance on petroleum-based components and support improved material recovery.

To ensure top-notch customer service and support, Razer Blades ship with an industry-leading battery warranty of up to two years and are backed by Razer’s award-winning customer support. For users seeking additional coverage, RazerCare offers up to three extra years of protection in select regions.

See the Blade 16 in Action at PAX East 2026

At PAX East 2026, Razer will showcase the new Razer Blade 16 as the Official Laptop Partner of PAX Arena, the event’s dedicated esports stage for competition, creator showcases, and community play.

Across live matches and on-stage segments, Blade systems will power real-world gameplay throughout the show, with select attendees able to go hands-on to experience the 2026 Razer Blade 16’s ultra-thin design and next-generation performance.

Xtra Teases Muse 2 and Muse 2 Pro Vlogging Cameras Coming to the US this Summer

Xtra today teased Xtra Muse 2 and Xtra Muse 2 Pro, signaling the next evolution of its pocket vlogging camera lineup. Developed in direct response to the rapid adoption of the first-generation Xtra Muse by U.S. creators, the new series is slated for a U.S. release in Summer 2026.

Since debuting in the U.S. in late 2025, Xtra has carved out a distinct niche within the TikTok and mobile-first creator communities. This momentum is now driving a broader hardware strategy focused on Professional Portability, bridging the gap between casual vlogging and high-fidelity production.

“What resonated most was practicality,” said Sophia Ma, Head of U.S. Marketing at Xtra. “People responded to a camera that was easy to carry, easy to use, and easy to fit into everyday life — and that insight is shaping what comes next for Muse.”

Next-Gen Refinements Based on Real-World Feedback

The upcoming lineup introduces two distinct tiers designed to meet evolving creator demands. While the Xtra Muse 2 remains the ultimate companion for daily vloggers seeking pure spontaneity, the Xtra Muse 2 Pro is designed for creators who want to streamline their setup and workflow without sacrificing perspective. By integrating a dual-lens system into a pocket-sized form factor, the Muse 2 Pro replaces the need for multi-camera rigs and supplemental “BTS” gear.

These next-generation refinements are built directly on feedback from the original Xtra Muse community. Key upgrades across the series include:

  • Enhanced Tactile Control: A new physical button has been added to optimize the zooming experience for more precise framing.
  • High-Performance Imaging: Support for 4K/240FPS for ultra-smooth slow-motion capture.
  • Expanded On-Board Storage: Now featuring 128GB of built-in storage to accommodate high-resolution files.
  • Intelligent Workflow: Auto Transfer with Screen Off functionality allows for seamless mobile offboarding without draining battery life during transit.
  • Universal Ergonomics: A newly designed rotatable screen that supports both right- and left-side usage, ensuring comfort for all creators.

“Creators want tools that feel natural, reliable, and ready when inspiration strikes,” Sophia added. “Muse 2 and Muse 2 Pro are being built with that reality in mind.”

National Retail and Ecosystem Growth

The hardware preview arrives as Xtra aggressively expands its U.S. infrastructure. The brand has secured a national retail footprint through partnerships with Best Buy, B&H Photo, and Adorama, ensuring localized availability for the Summer 2026 launch. This expansion is supported by a growing U.S. operations team and integrated creator activations, such as the brand’s high-visibility presence at Xtra’s Coachella Neon Carnival.

“Building trust in the U.S. takes time,” highlighted by Sophia, “It comes from showing up consistently — through products, retail presence, creator relationships, and sustained investment. That’s how we’re approaching the market.”

Additional details regarding specifications, pricing, and exact availability for the Xtra Muse 2 and Xtra Muse 2 Pro will be released ahead of the Summer 2026 launch window.

Roadhouse Simulator Prologue Out May 19th

Roadhouse Simulator, the action-packed biker bar management simulator and prequel to the hit Gas Station Simulator which sold 2M units so far, dishes out a free Prologue chapter on PC via Steam on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, offering a taste of the tough life of a Route 66 bouncer and barback.

Relive the rowdy early years of Gas Station Simulator’s Uncle, starting out as a bouncer at a remote roadhouse on the long desert highway. Keep the place running smoothly by monitoring guests who enter, and maintain order through de-escalation whenever possible, or by stepping in to finish the fight when things get out of hand.

Climb the ranks from bouncer to bartender, mastering the art of attending to demanding patrons. Protect the roadhouse from rival biker gangs who aim to disrupt business, or exploit opportunities for shady deals. Operate discreetly to keep the local sheriff at bay, or risk inspections, fines, and even temporary shutdowns!

Roadhouse Simulator: Prologue offers an introductory peek at events leading up to the full game. After hours of trekking across the country in a rundown bus, set foot in the middle of nowhere and prepare to lock in for your new job, Bouncer. What awaits through those doors is a pack of rowdy patrons who clearly lack bar etiquette. Roll up your sleeves and set them straight, restoring order and running the establishment with an iron first. If you lack the guts to get the job done, sling the backpack over your shoulder and step back onto that shabby bus.

“With Roadhouse Simulator, we’re going back to the outlaw days of Route 66 and Gas Station Simulator,” said Joanna Tynor, CEO at DRAGO Entertainment. “The Uncle has been such a popular character in the Gas Station Simulator world, and we’re finally ready to explore his origin story – the prologue is just a first taste.”

A brand new demo for Roadhouse Simulator is also set to debut later this year ahead of the full game’s release. By this point, the Uncle will have a lot more experience under his belt, and players will be able to manage a fully operational bar experimenting with key features and game mechanics.

Roadhouse Simulator – Prologue launches Tuesday, May 19, 2026, on PC via Steam. For all the latest updates, be sure to follow DRAGO on X/Twitter and Facebook.
