Monthly Descendant Balance Update: ‘Bunny’

This update will primarily focus on revamping and adjusting Bunny’s performance by restricting ‘Maximum Power,’ which had low synergy with her existing skill set, to be exclusively usable with the ‘Electric Charge’ module, and replacing it with ‘Flash Kick,’ an instant-cast dash/charge skill. Additionally, Bunny’s skill modules are also undergoing improvements, including her usability, which is enhanced by adding diverse effects tailored to the unique characteristics of each skill module.

New Content Added

This update features newly added content, including an Axion Plains Dungeon and a New Ultimate Weapon. With one of four paths determined at the start of the mission, the combat routes and turret compositions will change accordingly, allowing players to experience a fresh flow of combat every time.

The New Ultimate Weapon, ‘Shackles of Mortality,’ is a Hand Cannon themed after the Reaper, featuring the unique ability ‘Rest’ which inflicts continuous damage to targets. When an enemy afflicted with ‘Rest’ dies, the effect spreads to nearby targets, making it highly effective against groups of enemies.

June Events

Through this update, new events will take place for players to participate in. From June 18 to July 15, the Ultimate Weapon Growth Mission II event will take place and offer players support weapon progression by providing additional crafting materials and Gold at each stage of acquiring weapon cores, enhancing/converting weapons and rolling weapon options.

XPG Launches INFINITY Fans and MAESTRO Air Coolers

As the 2026 PC DIY market undergoes a dramatic structural shift driven by volatile memory pricing, global hardware enthusiasts are entering a new era of “precise investment and smart building.” To help consumers seamlessly balance core system performance with stunning external aesthetics, XPG proudly introduces the INFINITY F360/F120/R120 infinity mirror fan series and the MAESTRO 42SA/62DA CPU air coolers. These highly calculated, high-value cooling solutions allow users to optimize every single penny of their hardware budgets and build elite, high-performance gaming setups without making sacrifices on powerful thermal control or striking visual impact.

Overcoming Memory Inflation: XPG Redefines Standards for Value-Driven Cooling

According to recent market data from IDC and arXiv, booming AI infrastructure development is aggressively competing for vital DRAM and NAND flash capacity, triggering widespread hardware inflation that will reshape the global PC market landscape well through 2027 [1] [2] . Under these fixed total budgets, players are forced to compress PC components investments like chassis and cooling, which unfortunately compromises overall system stability and visual appeal. Addressing this critical market pain point, XPG actively embraces the “Smart Building” trend by launching the INFINITY fan lineup and MAESTRO series coolers. Shattering the outdated myth that accessible pricing compromises performance, XPG delivers dictate premium, value-driven cooling solutions that provide elite gaming power and striking aesthetics to budget-conscious creators worldwide.

INFINITY Fans: Unibody Design Ends Cable Clutter While Dominating Chassis Aesthetics and Flexible Airflow Pathways

The all-new INFINITY series fans are meticulously engineered to deliver minimalist installation, ultimate visuals, and highly flexible airflow customization. The flagship INFINITY F360 introduces a breakthrough Unibody framework design that completely eliminates messy cable management clutter, transforming complex fan assembly into a process as simple and intuitive as building blocks. To fully satisfy high-end players’ strict airflow configuration requirements, the standard-flow INFINITY F120 and reverse-flow INFINITY R120 models offer full support for daisy-chain functionality. This allows players to effortlessly customize intake and exhaust layouts for any chassis setup while maintaining a deep, mesmerizing infinity mirror aesthetic that instantly elevates any system to a premium tier.

MAESTRO Coolers: Targeting High-Temperature Hotspots and Defending Core Performance with Uncompromised Cost Performance

Aggressively expanding its CPU cooling footprint following the successful launch of last year’s MAESTRO PLUS, XPG heavily drops the all-new MAESTRO 42SA and 62DA entry-level air coolers this year, bringing powerful thermal control down to a highly affordable market segment. The compact single-tower MAESTRO 42SA features four direct-touch pure copper heat pipes that efficiently deliver up to 200W TDP of cooling capacity, while the heavy-duty twin-tower MAESTRO 62DA utilizes six high-performance heat pipes to comfortably reach 230W TDP. Both models come standard with FDB hydraulic bearing ARGB silent fans, perfectly balancing ferocious heat dissipation with whisper-quiet operation to easily tame the severe thermal challenges of modern mid-to-high-end processors.

With extreme cost-performance, XPG serves as the ultimate backbone in this “calculated building” era, turning every cent into real-world gaming power. Release dates vary by region. For more information, visit: https://www.xpg.com/

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy Detail Look at Closed Beta

Today, Owlcat Games shared a detailed look inside the Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy Closed Beta, now available to all Founder’s Pack owners on PC. The Closed Beta opens the game’s complete first Act — around 20 hours of investigations, combat encounters, and companion recruitment in the Imperial sector of Scintilla — and reveals the systems through which the Acolytes of the Inquisition pursue heresy across the Calixis Sector.

The blog post detailing what players will encounter during the Closed Beta:
https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/3710600/view/710026912607504543

At the centre of Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy sits a dedicated investigation system. Acolytes gather evidence across multiple locations, interview witnesses, and cross-reference their findings in an in-game journal that flags contradictions as they emerge. Companions can be consulted mid-mission to apply their specialist knowledge to a stalled lead. When the investigation concludes, the player resolves it by either uncovering the literal truth of what occurred or by assigning blame in a manner that better serves the Inquisition’s long-term objectives. Both paths carry consequences.

Ten companions are recruitable across the Closed Beta, each carrying a unique background ability nobody else can replicate. Acolytes can travel, among others, with the Eldar Wayseeker Laarthyr Cairnareth, the Kroot Ra’akhti, an Adeptus Mechanicus tech-priest, an Ogryn warrior, a Pariah whose presence shuts down every psychic power in her zone of influence, and Aspice Chorda of the Chorda Dynasty — a name familiar to Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader veterans.

Combat has been rebuilt around purpose. Encounters in the Closed Beta carry secondary objectives beyond simply defeating every enemy on the field: hostages to rescue, targets to capture alive for interrogation, warp rifts to seal before they spread. Supporting that approach is a new individual morale system replacing Rogue Trader’s shared momentum, an immediate zone of influence around every combatant, an interruptible concentration mechanic for major enemy actions, and armor that functions as a separate resource pool. Acolytes who break an enemy squad’s morale completely can end an encounter without a single kill, choosing to execute the survivors or take them in for questioning.

The beta also contains character creation. Players may choose from five Tier-1 archetypes — Warrior, Officer, Operative, Soldier, and the new Mystic archetype for sanctioned psykers — along with four origins, three home worlds, and nine body types. Specialisations replace Rogue Trader’s broader talent pool, while ability modifications layer long-term depth onto the build. The Sanctioned Psyker origin also stands on its own, leaving room for unconventional acolytes such as a Warrior who manipulates the warp or a Soldier with a sanctioned gift.

The Closed Beta will remain open until the game’s release, and player feedback collected throughout will inform the final build. Founder’s Pack owners can access the Closed Beta through the official website.

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy will launch on Windows PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store) and consoles (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S).
