At The Game Awards pre-show, Raw Fury announced a new partnership to publish indie developer RED SOUL GAMES’ debut project, Post Trauma, an original horror experience with fixed camera angles and modern visuals inspired by the retro classics of the genre. The title’s new gameplay trailer, revealed to the world [earlier tonight], showcases its unique designs, unsettling atmosphere, creative puzzles and immersive audiovisual direction.
Post Trauma follows Roman, a middle-aged man who awakens in a strange and hostile place and must find a way back home to his family. Venture through the world with fixed camera perspectives which underscore the haunting sense that you’re being watched.
Explore your surroundings and gather information to solve puzzles and survive (you may want to keep a notepad handy for this journey). Discover ways to kill or avoid the monsters lurking in the darkness, but beware: not every creature you encounter may be hostile…
Post Trauma is the first title from RED SOUL GAMES, the new studio founded by indie developer Roberto Serra Gascón. The game began as a one-man passion project, with Gascón leaving his job in 2021 to work fulltime on its development, sharing regular updates with the community on Twitter and steadily building a devoted following among fans and content creators. The establishment of RED SOUL GAMES will allow the project to bring on additional personnel as needed to make Gascón’s ultimate vision a reality.
Post Trauma is in development for PC and consoles and is available to wishlist now on Steam. Follow the latest updates from the game on Twitter.

Just revealed on The Game Awards, fans are invited to embark on an incredible and unprecedented collaborative crossover adventure between Dead Cells and Castlevania in an epic brand-new mashup DLC for the genre-defining roguelike. Honoring the franchise that inspired the very beginnings of Dead Cells, players will be able to explore Dracula’s castle (and more) along with all of its delightful evil within. Joined by Castlevania’s Richter Belmont and Alucard and chock full of incredible and surprising new crossover content, Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania is the biggest DLC for Dead Cells to date, launching early next year on PC and Consoles.
This unparalleled collaboration sees Motion Twin and Evil Empire going back to their roots, paying tribute to the franchise that inspired the very beginnings of Dead Cells.
Ben Laulan, co-founder of Evil Empire and COO said, “Like so many millions of players around the world, we are huge fans of Castlevania and remember vividly what playing it for the first time felt like. It opened up a world of possibilities and potential for so many games to come, including Dead Cells. The original inspiration – the roots of Dead Cells – was born from a shared passion for the Castlevania franchise. We are so excited to bring this DLC to fans of Dead Cells and Castlevania early next year. It means so much to us to be bringing this to fans of both franchises.”
The coming DLC unfolds a new storyline in which The Beheaded is approached by Richter Belmont following the appearance of a strange, malevolent castle. Drawn by the promise of new loot more so than an ethical sense of duty, players will need to harness their utmost undead fighting skills to defeat the evil within. Packed with new loot, creative-but-deadly new weapons, loads of enemies begging for a stake through the heart and more, this is the largest and most ambitious DLC for Dead Cells yet.
Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania introduces a jaw-dropping 14 iconic weapons and items from one of gaming’s most venerable franchises to assist you in your undead-slaying needs in Dead Cells, including Castlevania favorites the Vampire Killer, the Cross and, of course, the Holy Water. Tweaked from original renditions in the Castlevania franchise, the Dead Cells versions of these weapons will reflect the fast-paced, frantic style of combat that players have come to love, hate and love to hate.
The real piece de resistance in the upcoming Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania are two entirely new biomes, one of them being the iconic Dracula’s Castle. Packed with deadly werewolves, haunted armors and food stuffed into the walls, players will attempt to defeat terrifying and dangerous creatures that comprise Dracula’s army and bop along to an alternative soundtrack of 51 original Castlevania tunes, as well as 12 truly iconic tracks that have been reimagined in the style of Dead Cells.
But uncovering the secrets of Dracula’s castle and yet-to-be-revealed biomes won’t be a walk in the park. Three epic boss fights await in the haunted corridors of the estate, including battles with Death and Dracula himself. If these battles can be survived, you’ll need to prepare yourself for Dead Cells’ most epic and ambitious boss battle yet.
With skill, luck, hard work and a determination for extinguishing the undead, you may just be able to survive the night. Dead Cells: Return to Castlevania launches early next year and stay tuned for more reveals in early 2023 for this incredible crossover.

World of Warships on PC welcomes in 2023 with plenty of new years content including a free Container, a “Carol Clash” and New Years battles. World of Warships
Out with the old and in with the new
As 2023 quickly approaches, World of Warships brings players plenty of ways to celebrate the new year. Kicking off these celebrations a free Santa’s Gift Container in the Admiralty. With additional Santa’s Containers available in the Armory and Premium shop, these Containers are chock full of treats to beat those January blues. Packed with anything from doubloons and coal to one of 174 ships – some of which are rare – players can sail into the new year with ease.
Warships also sees a Carol Clash kick off halfway through the month, where two teams will go head-to-head as Santa Clauses from the opposing poles to deliver gifts on time. Participate in the event to secure one of two themed commanders with unique voice lines, alongside one of two permanent camouflages, among many other prizes. Finally, five groups of combat missions, entitled “New Year’s Battle” offer players their choice of ships – Dido or Canarias – as reward for completing these missions.
To celebrate five years on Steam, World of Warships is offering new players on this platform an easy way to earn $5 USD Steam Wallet credit, by earning the “Amateur” achievement by winning 10 random battles before December 17. Those who are successful will see this credit added to their Steam Wallet within a week of completing the challenge.
World of Warships: Legends
Walking in a Warships Wonderland
World of Warships: Legends welcomes the holiday season! As part of the festivities Winter Shards are introduced and can be acquired anywhere from Windroses to Arena mode and purchasing bundles. Secure these shards, and players can unlock plenty of goodies, from winter ships to Commander guises – including the Legendary Japanese cruiser Yoshino that comes decked out in her own special holiday skin. A bunch of different crates are also making their way into the game, packed with their own surprises.
But the giving doesn’t stop there, in the classic five-week, 100-milestone format, Legends is welcoming the Double Impact Campaign. Waiting at the end as the prize? Not one, but two very capable Tier VIII ships up for grabs with Italian battleship Marco Polo and its British counterpart, Marlborough. These ships both have impressive guns, Marco Polo’s 16-inch guns aid with taking down enemies as its sturdy armour prevents damage, and Marlborough can do plenty of damage with 16 of its own 14-inch guns.
Finally, World of Warships: Legends gives players not 12, but 21 days of Christmas with its Adventure calendar. Packed full of daily tasks, yielding both daily and weekly prizes, players can work their way to the ultimate prize – a calendar-exclusive Commander Santa guise that can be used on almost every Commander within the game.
Today, Starbreeze announced the opening of a new studio in the United Kingdom, expansions to the development and 3rd party publishing teams, and the acquisition of two new IPs for future titles. The UK studio will serve as a hub for recruiting talented developers, with a focus on developing and publishing the newly acquired IPs and future projects. Starbreeze Studios UK will be helmed by former Cinder Cone co-founders Tancred Dyke-Wells and Lawrence Bishop.
“We have team members from all over the world and are excited to build another collaborative studio in the United Kingdom to create games our fans will love for years to come,” said Tobias Sjögren, Chief Executive Officer of Starbreeze. “With this new branch in the UK, Starbreeze will have the opportunity to directly tap into the UK game development talent pool, which is one of the best in the world.”
Former Cinder Cone co-founders Tancred Dyke-Wells and Lawrence Bishop bring a wealth of experience to their new roles, with Dyke-Wells serving as Creative Director and Bishop as Technical Director. Dyke-Wells and Bishop previously released Cinder Cone’s debut title Skeleton Crew in 2022 and come with a combined 40 years of development experience in senior roles, with titles including Smoke & Sacrifice, Firewatch, Nintendo Art Academy, Proteus and Battalion Wars.
“Working for a company like Starbreeze and bringing the studio to the UK is a real honor and a great opportunity,” said Tancred Dyke-Wells, Creative Director. “Even though we’re in the early stages, it is the start of a new era, and we’re looking forward to building, publishing and delivering excellent games hand-in-hand with the Starbreeze team.”
“Having been in the indie space for quite some time I’m excited for the opportunity to build a strong team using Starbreeze’s support and expertise” said Lawrence Bishop, Technical Director “We’ll be able to really raise our game and, with the help of Starbreeze’s community team, deliver great experiences for players”
The UK studio will greatly strengthen Starbreeze’s capabilities to continue creating unique game IPs and build on its strength as a developer and publisher by expanding beyond the PAYDAY franchise. Being present in such a great market for game development talent will also be beneficial with recruiting developers that can expand and complement Starbreeze overall capabilities. The UK-based team will work closely with the Stockholm studio to develop the two acquired IPs along the Games as a Service model so successfully utilized in PAYDAY 2.
“This helps Starbreeze not just in terms of these new IPs we’re working on, but with other projects, including the much-anticipated PAYDAY 3,” said Mats Juhl, Chief Financial Officer of Starbreeze. “We want to expand our portfolio with incredible titles our fans will love, and the UK branch is another step in that direction.”
