From the Announcement

“The art of assassination isn’t easy to master. It requires stealth. Intelligence. Nerve. Speed. Hesitate for a second and you might end up on the business end of your own hook blade. Ezio knows it. Altair knows it. After all, they are master assassins of legend—the wizened heroes of three award-winning Assassin’s Creed games to date. So what could possibly be left for them (and us) to achieve in Assassin’s Creed Revelations?”

Razer Blade Prototypes Stolen

This just in from Razer USA: It appears as though that two of Razer’s Blade gaming laptop prototypes were stolen a couple of weeks ago. The company has released an official letter on the matter, pleading for the prototypes to be returned and reminding the gaming public that purchasing these prototype units would be purchasing stolen property.

Official Letter from Razer

Dear Razer Community,

Over the weekend of 11/4/11, we had a break-in at one of our Razer offices.  Two Razer Blade prototypes were stolen from our Bay area R&D lab.

As you can imagine, the return of these prototype units is very important to the company.  We have already reported this to the authorities who are working closely with us on this matter.

We take this act of theft seriously and would like to appeal for its return and discourage anyone from buying the Razer Blade prototypes from the perpetrators, whether online or otherwise, as they are stolen property.

We appreciate any and all information anyone may have on the incident.  Please contact us at cult@razerzone.com if you have any information.

Thank you for all your support.

Eagle Dynamics and TFC Unveil Product Roadmap

The Fighter Collection and Eagle Dynamics have announced their roadmap for upcoming releases in their Digital Combat Simulator series of flight sims. The order of the day looks to be multiplayer compatibility as most of their upgrades seem to be briding the gaps between their Black Shark, A-10C, and Flaming Cliffs products to enable them to be cross-compatible. Additionally, they mention something called a “DCS Flying Legends” aircraft as well as their as-of-yet unannounced fixed-wing jet simulation. Hit the full press release below for all the information!

[spoiler effect=”apblind” show=”SHOW THE FULL PRESS RELEASE”]The Fighter Collection (TFC) announces future publishing intentions

In the coming months we plan to release several new projects. While we wish to have open communications with our customers and let them know of our planned projects, please understand that plans often change due to unforeseen circumstances. The below list is a road map of our intentions and not a promise of things to come. As each product nears completion and feature lists are finalized, more details will be provided.

1- Combined Arms. This $19.99 add-on will allow A-10C, Black Shark 2, and Flaming Cliffs 3 owner to act as ground force commanders as the mission is running. Users can direct ground units, set fire missions for artillery/multiple rocket launchers, and take the role of a Joint Terminal Air Controller (JTAC). As the JTAC, players will have night vision goggles, IR pointer, laser designator, and Forward Looking Infrared (FLIR). Several other new items are still being considered. Combined Arms will work in both single player and multiplayer missions.

2- Flaming Cliffs 3. This will be a paid-for update to the Flaming Cliffs series and brings it to the same world, mission editor, AI, units, etc. as A-10C and Black Shark 2. We plan to include several upgrades to the aircraft, a resource management system, and several other new features. This will also make Flaming Cliffs online compatible with A-10C and Black Shark 2. Pricing will depend on what new features are included.

3- Nevada map. This will be a $19.99 add-on that will be compatible with A-10C, Black Shark 2, and FC3. Users that purchased the A-10C beta will get this map for free.

4- The first “DCS Flying Legends” aircraft will be released in the first half of 2012.

5- The next US fixed wing jet DCS aircraft is being worked on in parallel. For Combined Arms and the Nevada map, a single purchase will allow these add-ons to work with A-10C 1.1.1.0, Black Shark 2, and FC3.
