Stronghold 3 Gone Gold

7Sixty has announced that the upcoming castle building and defense game, Stronghold 3, has gone gold and is off to the presses for its October 25, 2011 release date.

“Firstly we want to thank fans for waiting patiently for Stronghold 3, it’s been a long time coming but we wanted to make sure we created something really special,” said Simon Bradbury, lead designer, Firefly Studios. “This is the ‘ultimate Stronghold’, featuring the best bits from previous titles and some fantastic new elements – like night time sieges and a cutting edge graphics engine.”

 

King’s Bounty: Warriors of the North Announced

1C Company has announced King’s Bounty: Warriors of the North for Windows PCs. Due out in the Spring of 2012, Warriors on the North is the next official sequel in the King’s Bounty series, focusing on a young warrior and his fight against the undead infesting the Northern Lands of Endoria.

Dead Rising 2 Off the Record Launch Trailer

Capcom has released the official launch trailer for its upcoming Dead Rising 2 Off the Record, which continues the story of Dead Rising protagonist, Frank West. Dead Rising 2 Off the Record is due out on October 11, 2011 for the Windows PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3 platforms.

Resident Evil: Revelations Release Date

Capcom is pleased to confirm that Resident Evil Revelations will release in North America for Nintendo 3DS on February 7, 2012. Revealing a brand new storyline, characters and locations for the Resident Evil series, Resident Evil Revelations delivers an exceptional survival horror experience in stunning 3D graphics. Beginning today, North American retailer GameStop will begin offering an incentive for consumers who pre-order Resident Evil Revelations. A unique Resident Evil Revelations 3DS case with an image that changes in the sunlight will be available when consumers pick up their retail copies of the game. Set between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, the all new episodic narrative sees fan favorite characters Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield paired with new BSAA members Parker Luciani and Jessica Sherawat on their search to discover the truth about the Veltro terrorist organization and the T-Abyss virus outbreak. Players will need to make use of the unique Nintendo 3DS touch screen to solve puzzles and switch between weapons as they try to survive the horror that awaits them around every corner. Elvira’s Last Convention Appearance at Comikaze

Cassandra Peterson, also known as the boisterous and well-endowed Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, has announced that the upcoming Comikaze expo will be her last convention appearance. The Comikaze expo takes place on November 5-6, 2011 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

“It’s about time all of my boob-tube fans who’ve never been lucky enough to say hi in person come out to meet me,” said Elvira. “This will be everybody’s last chance to see this busty, beehived broad in the flesh (and not much else!), so jump on that Red Line and head to the L.A. Convention Center, darling. As the hostess with the mostest, I’m gonna bring a little class to this event if it’s the last thing I do. Oh yeah, it IS the last thing I’ll do. Whatever.”

Yakuza: Dead Souls Coming in 2012

SEGA has announced that their Yakuza of the End will finally come to North America and Europe, renamed Yakuza: Dead Souls, exclusively for the PlayStation 3 platform.

“We know how much people love Yakuza in the West and with Dead Souls being the latest and greatest in the franchise, it is only right we bring it to them closer to the Japanese release than ever,” said Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at SEGA.

Need for Speed: The Run Demo Release Date

Electronic Arts has announced that the demo for its upcoming racer, Need for Speed: The Run, will be available for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on October 18th and run through November 1st, 2011. Checkout the full press release below for more information!
