With this API level integration, content creators who use XSplit as their primary software for recording and streaming can now easily control all aspects of their XSplit configuration directly with Stream Deck. Stream Deck is a professional-studio-grade controller that allows content creators to better manage their live broadcasts. The Stream Deck App supports many additional popular applications and services, including Elgato Game Capture, OBS, Twitch, Twitter and Tipeeestream, with plans to extend software support through regular, free updates.

Stream Deck v1.3 is now available via the Stream Deck app, and as a free download on the Elgato Gaming website: https://www.elgato.com/en/gaming/downloads

“Iterating based on community feedback is a big part of our process at Elgato, and XSplit integration has been one of the most popular requests for Stream Deck,” said Julian Fest, General Manager of Elgato Gaming. “This software update brings the effortless Stream Deck experience to XSplit, making switching scenes, launching media, and interacting with the audience easier than ever.”

“We’re always looking for strong partnerships that help us further support content creators, and joining the Stream Deck ecosystem was an easy decision,” said John Howe-Marshall, Chief Marketing Officer at SplitmediaLabs. “Stream Deck empowers content creators to take control of their livestreams and makes it easy for them to produce high-quality content, and this integration gives our XSplit family the opportunity to access this technology and elevate their production value.”

Stream Deck simplifies complicated workflows by allowing creators to easily switch scenes, launch media, send tweets, control chat, and configure up to 210 actions using a simple 15 LCD key setup with visual and haptic feedback. By supporting popular software in the Stream Deck ecosystem, Elgato Gaming helps creators further simplify their workflow and control their various streaming tools from a central device.

The Evil Within 2 The Twisted and Deadly Photographer Trailer

August 16, 2017 – We’ve just released a new trailer for The Evil Within 2. Not only will Sebastian have to contend with the myriad horrific creatures waiting for him in The Evil Within 2, he’ll also have to deal with the human “monsters” who have made their way into the new STEM world. Wretched creatures like Stefano Valentini, an artist with dark proclivities and unbounded imagination. You’ll see examples of his work scattered throughout Union – from grisly photographs of his victims, to the “moment of death” tableaus he creates, capturing the last seconds of a person’s life in a tangible, looping scene. Learn more about the man behind the art in the latest trailer for The Evil Within 2.

After losing his eye in an explosion during his time as a war photographer, Stefano rapidly descended into madness. His newfound “vision” drove him to become fascinated by the precise instant when death takes a person – that split second in time when people are, in his opinion, at their most open and most beautiful. Stefano returned home from the war with a newfound purpose. But he wouldn’t wait for these perfect moments to arise on their own. Why should he, when he could orchestrate those final breaths? One victim became two, and soon enough he had become a serial killer, photographing each of his victims’ faces at the exact moment of their demise.

But the real world could never appreciate his talents. Stefano was hunted, until he found himself in this STEM world – a world of “pure creation.” A world he could shape to suit his own desires. And Lily is the key to unlocking the potential of this world.

And he’s not alone in his endeavors. Born from an untethered and immoral imagination and sculpted from blood and bone and flesh, Obscura is one of Stefano’s greatest masterpieces. Somewhere inside of Obscura is a story from another life, long before Stefano ever even learned of the existence of STEM – a story you’ll have to uncover for yourself as you explore Union and discover more about the twisted artist behind some of the horrors hunting you. Check out Bethesda.net for even more details.

The Evil Within 2 will launch worldwide Friday the 13th, October 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Evil Within 2 has not yet been rated by the ESRB. For more information about the game, visit www.TheEvilWithin.com

League of War: VR Arena Announced

August 15, 2017 – MunkyFun, a San Francisco-based independent game developer, today revealed it is bringing its highly successful League of War strategy game franchise to PlayStation®VR exclusively with the new arena-based arcade war game, League of War: VR Arena. In the action-oriented strategy game built from the ground up to create a powerful VR experience, players will fight short, intense battles against human or AI opponents, vying to lead their side to victory by physically placing and aiming units on the arena battlefield to destroy the opposing army’s towers and base.

In League of War: VR Arena, each army has 12 units including tanks, flamethrowers, helicopters and commanders, of which four are randomly available at any one time. Each unit requires energy to deploy, with more powerful units requiring more energy and taking longer to charge up. Using Move controllers, players will directly place and aim their units at the opponent—with the opponent doing the same in real time—as if they were a giant-sized general overseeing a virtual battlefield. The winner is the first player to destroy the opposing base to claim victory.

“League of War: VR Arena is designed to be a powerful experience that puts players in charge of a high tech, aggressive army on a living, tabletop-style battlefield,” said Nick Pavis, CEO and Co-Founder of MunkyFun, Inc.

“As you throw your units into battle, strategically choosing between quick strikes and slower but more powerful units, your opponent does the same, creating a pulse-pounding mix of strategy and action that is highly engaging on PlayStation VR.”

The game features both a single player Campaign mode and an Arcade mode where players face off head-to-head via the game’s Social Screen interface and build their own custom armies. Controls are highly intuitive and direct with the PS VR hardware—grab a unit and throw it on the battlefield! The pace is quick, and action is intense and the fun only stops to give you a chance to catch your breath before the next battle. Regardless of whether the opponent is human or silicon-based, the game thrives on a simple to play, difficult to master mantra. Should you wait for a powerful tank to charge, or immediately attack with an inexpensive recon unit that can distract the enemy while you prepare your big move? Should you deploy a helicopter to attack infantry, or wait to pair it with artillery for a more effective combo attack? These are the choices desktop generals will make in League of War: VR Arena!

Developed and published by MunkyFun, League of War: VR Arena will be exclusively released for PlayStation®VR early this fall, with more details revealed in the near future. This game has been rated “T for Teen” by the ESRB.

The Monster Project Release Info

August 14, 2017 – In a chilling and inventive take on the classic monster movie genre, THE MONSTER PROJECT follows a group of aspiring horror filmmakers, eager to raise their YouTube subscriber count, who post an online casting call for “real life” monsters to interview for their documentary. They find three participants and choose to film them sharing their haunted experiences in a mansion in the woods on the night of a lunar eclipse. The production suddenly turns into a nightmare when the participants transform into a real vampire, demon, and skinwalker (a type of harmful witch, according to Navajo legends, that can transform into any animal with the intent of harming people), forcing the unsuspecting crew to fight for their lives.

The film was directed by Victor Mathieu and written by Mathieu, Shariya Lynn, and Corbin Billings. Toby Hemingway (“BLACK SWAN”, “IN TIME”), Justin Bruening (“GOOD BEHAVIOR”, “GREY’S ANATOMY”, “RINGER”), and Yvonne Zima (“IRON MAN 3”, “NICE GUYS”) provide strong performances with Jamal Quezaire and Murielle Zuker rounding out the cast.

Hangry Bunnies From Mars Release Date

LOS ANGELES (August 14, 2017) — Studio229 has announced its first VR game titled Hangry Bunnies From Mars for the HTC Vive, available August 23 on Steam.

Watch the announcement trailer:

Who loves being eaten to death by bunnies? (No one.) Especially not hundreds of them. Which is why the not-so-subtly-named extermination company Critter Death Squad is using you as its latest Exterminator to single-handedly hold off this hangry horde. Never mind the fact that you’re an extremely expendable clone (and they’ll just grow a new one if you die), because what really matters is the fact that you’re equipped with some seriously awesome transforming weapons that excel at unleashing critter death.

In Hangry Bunnies From Mars, you’ll take on hundreds of fluffy-wuffy bunnies at once in this replayable arcade adventure. You’ll suit up using some ridiculous weapons to take on these voracious varmints, all the while enjoying hilarious running commentary from Colin the British engineer and Vlad the Russian tactician. Featuring a script written by a Hollywood team–including Jeremy Adams, writer and producer for Lego, DC Comics, Monsuno and more. Hangry Bunnies features a dynamic difficulty adjuster that keeps gameplay consistent regardless of VR expertise, making it a great experience for beginners and skilled shooters alike. You’ll literally have a blast defending the great city of New Los Angeles, all rendered with a vibrant art style in roomscale VR!

The game launches on August 23 for the HTC Vive with Oculus Touch support releasing shortly afterwards. Check out the website for more info (and the epic trailer!) at www.hangrybunnies.com.

New events will be available regularly and will grant exclusive rewards on completion. Players will be able to activate additional modifiers for some missions and incursions, adding an extra layer of challenge that gives them a chance to yield more rewards.
  • Commendations – Previously called feats, commendations are part of a new built-in achievement system that provides players with a series of tasks and subsequent rewards.

  • Survival Improvements – New scoring items will allow players to achieve higher scores. And the reward economy has been reworked so that time investment is more on par with other activities.

Update 1.7 is the first of two free updates planned for Year 2 of Tom Clancy’s The Division. In addition to these major updates and in line with the development team’s commitment to continuously improve the game, Year 2 has already introduced several gameplay and quality of life updates and will add more in the coming months.

The first global event, Outbreak, will start on August 15 at 9 am PDT and end on August 22, and challenge players with new enemy behavior due to the severity of a virus outbreak.

During this time, all players will be able to access the expansion for free and experience a completely new way to play the game with survival mode. In this session-based mode hosting up to 24 different players in either PvP or PvE, agents are stripped of gear and must survive both the hostile environment and the threat of other agents and deadly hunters scattered around the open map. Finding supplies, warm clothes and survival equipment is vital as players attempt to make it out of the Dark Zone in the midst of a devastating blizzard.

Survival is part of Tom Clancy’s The Division Season Pass and can also be purchased separately. In conjunction with the free weekend, there will be discounts on Tom Clancy’s The Division standard and gold editions, season pass and stand-alone expansions.
