Cities: Skylines Snowfall Launch Trailer

STOCKHOLM – Feb. 18, 2016Paradox Interactive, a unique snowflake among publishers, today announced that the newest expansion to Cities: Skylines is now available for aspiring mayor-players everywhere. “Snowfall,” which was released today for players of Cities: Skylines, adds a flurry of weather-related features to the game, along with new transportation options and several new winter attractions to help citizens chill out. A new free patch has also released today, including a new map Theme Editor to allow modders to alter the very fabric of in-game reality. Snowfall is available today on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs for $12.99

In Snowfall, the difficulty heats up when the city cools down, thanks to a new in-game temperature reading that will have residents bundling up for warmth when the weather outside is frightful. Cosmetic weather, including rain and fog, has been added to Cities: Skylines as part of a free update. Players who own Snowfall will get to face new challenges such as ensuring that their city infrastructure can handle seasonal heating demands – and, when the snow starts falling, that the roads can stay clear. New snowplow services will be required to prevent traffic from freezing in place, while new all-weather trams and expanded public transit options can help residents and visitors alike get around town – and visit the new winter parks and landmarks available in Snowfall. A detailed list of features included both in Snowfall and in the free patch is available here: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/index.php?threads%2Fsnowfall-patch-notes-1-3-0-release-information.908934%2F

Jalopy Gets Greenlit

February 17, 2016 – After only 10 days on Steam, Jalopy, the beautiful arts-and-crafts style game about a challenging road trip across Eastern Europe, has seen the lights change from red to green and passed Steam’s Greenlight process. We all want to say a massive thank you to everyone that voted for us. From here you will now be able to fully immerse yourself in the stylistic world created by Greg Pryjmachuk.

Take control of the wheel and venture across a Europe that’s slowly falling to pieces. Use your keen sense of scavenging to find fuel and keep your vehicle moving. Traverse roads that, much like your bank account, are full of holes, which slowly wreck your pride and joy. Have your manual handy to make sure you can perform any maintenance on your car, which are likely to be a painful regular occurrence. Be sure to pack plenty of fuel because it’s a long walk to the nearest station!

In hard times the clever man can make himself rich, if you feel that this speaks to you then take control of the smuggling industry or scavenge any old parts you find and sell them on for a profit. With capitalism arriving the world is your oyster and all you need to do is reach out and take it.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada – Chaos Fleet Trailer

February 12, 2016 – The Chaos Warfleet, led by Abaddon and his admiral ship the Planet Killer, emerges from the Eye of Terror! After revealing the Imperium ships and gameplay in a previous video, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada, the new space RTS set in the Warhammer 40k universe from Games Workshop, now showcases the Chaos fleet and its ships in a new gameplay video!

Over the millennia, many ships and their crew have betrayed the Imperium to join the Traitor Legions. As such, a big part of the Chaos Warfleet is composed of ancient ship designs that have long since been decommissioned from service in the Imperial Navy.

But make no mistake, this does not make them less fearsome. While not as heavily armoured, Chaos ships are faster than their Imperium counterparts, and out-range them with extensive use of weaponry such as Lances and attack crafts. These traits work well in synergy with the Stasis Bomb: teleported from your ship, the bomb traps enemy ships and their ordnance, while allowing your own lances to rain destruction on them. Astute Chaos admirals will be able to inflict considerable damage to the enemy fleet before they may even return fire.

Chaos ships, and their crew, may also receive the favours of the four Gods of Chaos. Khorne, Slaanesh, Tzeentch and Nurgle will reward your prowess in battle with Chaos Marks, each giving different bonuses and abilities to your ship, while warping their hull, dramatically affecting their appearance.

Battlefleet Gothic: Armada warps in on PC beginning of 2016.
