The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners Launch Trailers

January 23, 2020 – Skydance Interactive, a division of Skydance Media, and Skybound Entertainment today launched The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, the highly-anticipated survival horror VR game set in The Walking Dead universe on Oculus Rift, Rift S, Quest (via Link cable only) and HTC Vive.

Featuring an original storyline, freedom of choice and visceral combat, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners offers a deep-rooted VR gaming experience in which players must fight to survive the flooded ruins of New Orleans, surrounded by unending herds of walkers and torn apart by warfare between the remaining survivors. Players will explore this expansive world as they fight their way through humans and walkers, scavenge weapons and supplies, make brutal moral choices and uncover a mystery that will determine the future for everyone left alive in NOLA.

“With The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, we set out to create an experience that players and fans could fully immerse themselves in, which you can’t get from playing a console or mobile title,” said Adam Grantham, Creative Director at Skydance Interactive. “We wanted to give players an original story that truly belonged within The Walking Dead universe, from the environments, the narrative and the combat to make them feel as if they were truly living in this gruesome world.”

Skydance Interactive’s innovative approach to VR offers players a new way to live survival horror in The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, by taking physicality and motion into account with players’ actions, allowing for a deeper interaction between the player and their environment. Scale buildings to ambush enemies from above, hold down a walker’s head to rip a knife out of its skull or attack from a distance with throwing weapons, bows and long-range firearms. Players can also choose from an arsenal of weapons or craft their own to fit their play style and survive their way. Physics-based combat turns every swing of an axe or jab of a knife into not just one of clever planning, but of physical effort to overcome enemies.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners is now available digitally for the Oculus Rift, Rift S, Quest (via Link cable only) HTC Vive, Cosmos, Valve Index and various WindowsMR headsets on Oculus Store, Steam or The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners official website. The game is slated to arrive on PlayStation VR in Spring 2020, followed by Oculus Quest standalone later in the year.

Players can purchase the Standard Edition for $39.99 and the Tourist Edition for $49.99, or the Tower Edition is available for $149.99. More information on each edition and special bonuses can be found on The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners official website.

Coffee Talk Launch Trailer

London, UK – January 14, 2020 – Chorus Worldwide and Toge Productions are pleased to announce the global release of Coffee Talk, a narrative simulator where a blend of fantasy races enjoy conversation over warm drinks. Developed by Indonesian-based Toge Productions, Coffee Talk will arrive on Steam Store, Nintendo eShop, Microsoft Store and PlayStation Store on January 30, 2020.

As the Barista in late-night coffee shop, ‘Coffee Talk’, players offer friendly conversation and late-night warm drinks to the colourful and fantastical inhabitants of alternative-Seattle including elves, aliens, and orcs. The game features visual aesthetics inspired by 90s anime, classic pixel art adventure games, and images often associated with lo-fi chill hop music. The visual novel storylines are determined based on drinks they are served, not through the dialogue selections. Coffee Talk is the place to be for those who want to chat, relax, and relate no matter who they are or where they come from over delicious expertly crafted hot drinks.

“This game plays like the warm drinks served within it: warm, mellow, and comforting.” said Shintaro Kanaoya, Founder of Chorus Worldwide. “It’s rewarding to listen to the stories of the varied clientele and offering them up their favourite drinks when asked (and you feel bad when you get their order wrong). Just as the coffee shop in the game is a peaceful place for its customers to rest and unwind, Toge Productions have masterfully created a little oasis of a game for players of all ages to take a breath and relax.”

“After a stressful day, we just want to play something relaxing that’s not stressful or violent, sadly there aren’t many of them,” said Kris Antoni, Founder of Toge Productions, “So, we decided to make one where people can chill, relax, and craft latte-art.”

Coffee Talk is an official nominee of “Dengeki Online’s Indie Prize” at The Tokyo Game Show 2019, the finalist for the “Excellence in Narrative” at Busan Indie Connect 2019, and the winner of “Best Storytelling” at Level Up KL 2018.

Frostpunk The Last Autumn Launch Trailer

Available as part of the Frostpunk Season Pass released in August, this massive expansion is also available for purchase separately for $16.99.

The Last Autumn is a riveting prequel story taking place before the endless winter that the Frostpunk universe is known for most. It’s up to you to weigh the stakes and decide how much you’re willing to sacrifice for the greater good of humanity.

“Everyone associates Frostpunk with snow and winter, so our goal was to provide them with something totally new and change the tone of the game a bit. Frostpunk: The Last Autumn new features:

  • A prequel story set in a new environment not yet covered by snow that allows players to construct the Generator from the ground up to prepare their society for the upcoming winter.

  • 25 new buildings to construct such as docks, a telegraph station, a labour union building and more.
  • New social classes including Convicts — a cheap and obedient workforce.
  • Discover even more new mechanics and tweaks to gameplay.

The Frostpunk Season Pass ($24.49) grants access to all three DLC packs: The Rifts ($4.99), The Last Autumn ($16.99), and the unannounced pack codenamed “Project TVADGYCGJR” ($12.99). Panzer Corps 2 Gets Release Date

January 20, 2020 – March 19th is a day every strategy gamer will want to mark on his calendar: after nine years of intense development, Panzer Corps 2 will be released on all major PC stores. It took a long time to re-invent a classic. The original Panzer Corps sold over a million units since its release and won multiple awards. It wasn’t an easy task to follow in the footsteps of its spiritual predecessor, but Panzer Corps managed to capture the imagination of all strategy fans by delivering a modern product within a classic gameplay framework; and they loved it for that.

Now it’s time to move to a new dimension. Panzer Corps 2 lands on the Unreal engine, with a set of close to 500 hyper-detailed 3d models, incredibly detailed terrain, an exceptionally intuitive UI and the slickest animations.

The art department is only one of many areas where the new Panzer Corps is shining. Its creator Alex Shargin has reimagined a game to please the eyes of a modern audience while keeping its roots firmly into the heritage of a classic. There is no other way to say it: Panzer Corps 2 is the ultimate turn-based WWII strategy game.
