Shueisha Games is thrilled to announce Yakoh Shinobi Ops, a co-op tactical stealth action game developed by ACQUIRE Corp., is coming to PlayStation 5 and Steam in 2027. A first-look announcement trailer and teaser visuals were revealed during Sony’s latest State of Play showcase, highlighting the game’s Warring States era Japan setting and authentic shinobi infiltration experience.
Infiltrate, deceive, survive.
Your group of four Shinobi will need to work together to escape near-certain death in this hardcore stealth action game.
What is Yakoh Shinobi Ops
Four Shinobi lurk in the darkness, silently dash across the land like shadows in the night.
What awaits your team of Shinobi at the end of their operation? Paradise… or almost certain death? True Shinobi do not need to kill their opponents. Master the arts of concealment and deceive your enemies. Undying Pursuers are relentless, and survival depends on avoiding them at all costs. An operation is only complete when every Shinobi returns alive.
Blend into the night and infiltrate enemy territory
Your operation will take you behind enemy lines, where the watchful sentries and countless deadly traps lie in wait. Reaching your objective demands careful coordination, calling upon the skills each Shinobi has mastered. Move like a shadow. Synchronise with your fellow Shinobi. Slip unseen through the darkness. A split-second misstep can cost a Shinobi their life. Search for vital clues. Press deeper into the enemy stronghold. Survive the unseen dangers ahead.
Use unique Ninjutsu to overcome the impossible
Each Shinobi wields unique Ninjutsu – from scaling heights with grappling hooks and smashing through walls to carving new paths, to deploying smokescreens and flash grenades to disorient foes. Each Shinobi must understand their role and act in perfect harmony. What one cannot achieve alone, four can accomplish together.

IO Interactive, the award-winning developer and publisher behind the globally-acclaimed HITMAN franchise, and Amazon MGM Studios today revealed a new story trailer for 007 First Light, offering players a deeper look at IO Interactive’s original take on the origin of James Bond. 007 First Light is set to release on May 27, 2026, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox ROG Ally X, Xbox ROG Ally, Nintendo Switch 2*, and PC, and is available for pre-order, including the Collector’s Edition and Legacy Edition. Additionally, players who pre-order 007 First Light will get upgraded to the 007 First Light – Deluxe Edition for free, granting 24-hour Early Access**, as well as exclusive in-game items and outfits.
Revealed during today’s Sony PlayStation State of Play, the story trailer sets the stage for a global intrigue, as Bond is recruited into MI6 and enters the world of espionage, full of hidden agendas and unseen threats. The trailer offers early glimpses of Bond’s exploits in Iceland, showcasing his decisive judgment, nerve, and resourcefulness that draw the attention of MI6, propelling him into the grueling training of the newly revived 00 programme. Still inexperienced and sometimes reckless, Bond (portrayed by Patrick Gibson) will have to confront his instincts with the structure and discipline of his new world, where initiative is not always rewarded, and obedience is often the expectation.
As he enters the world of espionage, Bond discovers an unexpected advocate in M (portrayed by Priyanga Burford), who recognizes his potential as an agent able to take control of desperate situations and complete his objectives, following his own judgment. John Greenway (portrayed by Lennie James), a former 00 agent and the programme’s training instructor, stands in contrast to Bond. A disciplined, by-the-book operative, Greenway’s strict philosophy quickly clashes with Bond’s instinctive and improvisational approach in the field.
Despite their differences, Bond and Greenway are forced to work together as the resurgence of 009, a former British operative now turned rogue, becomes the newly revived 00 programme’s first true test in the field. From the quiet Carpathian Mountains to the dangerous black market of Aleph, Bond’s pursuit takes him across the globe, leading him to the unpredictable Bawma (portrayed by Lenny Kravitz) and more. Bond will also have to contend with mysterious characters, such as Charlotte Roth (portrayed by Noemie Nakai), and determine where their loyalties lie before choosing who to trust.
“With 007 First Light, we set out to reimagine the origin of James Bond, exploring the formative moments that shape him into the agent players know, but not yet the legend he will become. This is a version of Bond who is still inexperienced and finding his footing in the world of espionage, yet already defined by the instincts, intelligence, and resolve that set him apart. Players will recognize the unmistakable qualities that make him Bond from the very beginning,” said Hakan Abrak, CEO at IO Interactive.
007 First Light is scheduled to launch on May 27, 2026, and can be pre-ordered right now. Pre-order details can be found at https://ioi.dk/007firstlightgame.

Today at the PlayStation State of Play, Remedy Entertainment unveiled new gameplay details and features for CONTROL Resonant, the highly-anticipated sequel to Remedy’s critically acclaimed, multi-award-winning CONTROL. The first full gameplay footage running on PlayStation®5 Pro Console offers a glimpse of the main character Dylan Faden in action as he hunts a powerful Resonant enemy within the shifting landscape of the West Incursion Zone in Manhattan, reshaped by otherworldly forces actively breaking reality apart.
CONTROL Resonant will be published by Remedy Entertainment. Annapurna Pictures are co-financing and co-producing the game as part of a strategic partnership with Remedy Entertainment. CONTROL Resonant is scheduled to be released in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and Mac via Steam and the App Store.
The new gameplay video reveals CONTROL Resonant’s twisted version of Manhattan, with gameplay built around large, distinct, and expansive zones filled with side activities, hidden encounters, and optional discoveries. As the world around him grows more twisted, Dylan’s supernatural abilities allow him to navigate spaces that no longer obey regular rules of physics, such as within areas known as Gravity Anomalies, where gravity and orientation shift entirely.
Throughout the game, Dylan wields the Aberrant, an otherworldly, shapeshifting melee weapon, that can transform into multiple forms, giving players a versatile toolkit to define their approach to combat. Players will constantly expand their toolkit by unlocking new forms of the Aberrant, supernatural abilities, and talents.
Dylan must wield the Aberrant to help battle the game’s most powerful boss enemies, known as Resonants. Resonants are remnants of powerful individuals, now corrupted and twisted by the same mysterious force threatening reality itself. Defeating these dangerous enemies allows Dylan to expand his supernatural arsenal, with their defeat unlocking brand-new combat abilities.
For a full rundown on the gameplay footage, please read the post on the PlayStation blog from Sergey Mohov, Lead Gameplay Designer at Remedy Entertainment.
