Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch 1.3 Update Trailer

Ocean Drive Studio and Kakao Games have announced that a major new update is now available for Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch, adding quality of life improvements on PC.

Update 1.3 brings new Quick Expeditions to Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch, allowing players to jump into shorter runs of the game with fewer battles and events. Quick Expeditions are unlocked after finishing Act 3 for the first time, and can be toggled from the Set Out screen, giving players a new fast-paced experience for bite-sized turn-based tactics sessions.

The new update also adds the Phantom Arena, a brand new mode where players can save their party build from a previously completed expedition, and take it into fresh combat scenarios, with new Side Challenges and rewards on offer.

Finally, enemy difficulty can now be adjusted in both Phantom Arena and expeditions using the Enemy Mastery Slider, letting players set the enemy challenge level without it being tied to Trial conditions. Changing the Enemy Mastery levels affects all enemy stats except for their movement. You can check out the full patch notes on Steam here.

Update 1.3 for Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch is available now for PC, and is coming soon to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

STYX: BLADES OF GREED IS NOW AVAILABLE ON CONSOLES AND PC

The most infamous goblin is back! Cyanide Studio and NACON are pleased to announce that the stealth game Styx: Blades of Greed officially launches today on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store). Set in a medieval fantasy world, players step into the role of Styx, a devious goblin with a devastatingly dark sense of humor and a true master of stealth, as he hunts for Quartz — a resource as precious as it is dangerous. Explore vast vertical environments, master new tools and powers, and uncover the sinister presence hidden within the Quartz.

Styx: Blades of Greed builds on the proven formula of the first two installments and perfects it by placing freedom and creativity at the core of the experience. Every situation becomes a playground where intelligence, tactics, and experimentation are your greatest weapons. There is never just one way forward: players invent their own solutions to stealth puzzles by sneaking, trapping, or assassinating enemies without leaving a trace, greatly enhancing replayability.

Styx has many new tricks up his sleeve. He can harness the mysterious powers of Quartz to control his enemies—or even time itself! The master of stealth also gains new traversal tools: a glider that allows him to soar through the air, metal claws to climb sheer surfaces, and a grappling hook to reach previously inaccessible areas. Players can fully customize Styx by upgrading his powers and tools through a skill tree and equipping runes, shaping the gameplay to match their personal playstyle. For the first time in the series, the game adopts a Metroidvania-style approach, gradually unlocking access to new areas that were previously out of reach.

Developed on Unreal® Engine 5, the game delivers vast, stunning environments to explore freely.

Whether you are discovering the world of Styx for the first time or are a long-time fan, it has never been so much fun to be greedy!

Draw Your Weapons Launches Official Trailer from Titmouse and Critical Role

Today, Emmy award-winning animation studio Titmouse, the studio behind The Legend of Vox Machina and The Mighty Nein, in collaboration with Critical Role, a leader in storytelling and world-building, officially announced Draw Your Weapons, an original actual-play series premiering February 25, 2026 exclusively on Beacon.tv.

Led by Game Master Josh Knapp (The Tonight Show), Draw Your Weapons follows a party of unlikely heroes played by Rashawn Scott (South Side), Sean Glaze (Regular Show), artist Heather Mahler, and musician Jason Charles Miller, as they venture across the city of Port Promise and beyond the continent on increasingly unhinged quests. Standup comedian and writer Blaine Capatch and Titmouse Founder & CEO Chris Prynoski call the action with play-by-play commentary, while live drawing and confessional cutaways turn the table’s worst ideas into immediate consequences. In Draw Your Weapons, if someone draws it, the world has to deal with it, including weapons, gadgets, monsters, ill-advised plans, you name it! It’s fast, loud, and art-first, with big punk/DIY energy and zero interest in playing it safe. The season runs 11 episodes with new episodes released every Wednesday.

Fans are invited to draw right alongside the show in the Beacon Discord, with fan art submissions running through Critical Role’s existing submission pipeline for consideration to be included in the weekly art gallery highlights on critrole.com.

Emberville Convergence Showcase Trailer

Revealed just shy of a month ago, Emberville quickly caught viewers off guard as Cygnus Cross lifted the curtain on what the team has been quietly developing for the past three years. Today, during the Convergence Showcase livestream, the developer returned with another surprise, announcing the latest addition to Emberville’s growing voice cast, alongside an expanded role for a previously revealed fan-favorite.

Already confirmed as a core cast member, Alex Jordan (The Alters, Cyberpunk 2077, Dragon Age: The Veilguard) has officially stepped into a dual role on Emberville, serving not only as a voice actor but also as the game’s Performance Director. The move further cements what Cygnus Cross has described as an all-star roster of talent, both behind the mic and behind the scenes.

“The thing that really makes any project stand out to me is the developers themselves, the people at the core of it all,” said Jordan. “You can have the best concept in the world, but if the team isn’t utterly devoted and approaching it with a level of detail and nuance, the result will always be mediocre. Cygnus Cross showed me that not only is Emberville an incredibly cool idea, but they also have that detail and nuance in overflowing abundance. Their care and commitment to creating something with legacy and quality for their players is what truly makes me excited about Emberville. Oh, and I lied to Doug about him getting sausages to help get the deal across the line… don’t tell him.”

Previously revealed cast member Doug Cockle (The Witcher, The Alters) echoed that enthusiasm when speaking about joining the project. “The passion, skill, and experience going into the development of this game is phenomenal,” said Cockle. “I’m always attracted to projects where the team has a clear goal in mind, and the drive and knowledge to reach for it, especially when that goal pushes boundaries. That’s exciting to be part of. Plus, they told me there would be small sausages. I like small sausages.”

Also revealed during today’s showcase is the addition of Abubakar Salim, best known as the voice of Bayek of Siwa in Assassin’s Creed: Origins and as Alyn of Hull in House of the Dragon. Salim joins the cast as the latest high-profile addition to Emberville’s lineup.

“I look for projects that take risks, and Emberville is absolutely pushing the envelope,” said Salim. “Seeing how this team is deconstructing the genre is inspiring, and doing it with such intellect and intent is awesome.”

With its cast continuing to grow and development momentum building, Emberville is shaping up to be one of the most personality-driven titles of the year. More details on the game (and its apparently very sausage-motivated ensemble) will be shared in the months ahead.

Stoneguard Official Release Date Announcement Trailer

ThornSpire Games, in partnership with Wandering Wizard, will be launching their fantasy medieval strategy game Stoneguard on Steam Early Access March 19th but you won’t have to wait that long to play it, however, as a demo will be available during Steam Next Fest running February 23rd-March 2nd.

Watch the Stoneguard Early Access release date trailer

Stoneguard combines the open-ended sandbox gameplay of a survival sim with the tactics of a strategy game where players must defend their precious Lifestone either solo or in teams with up to four player co-op from an onslaught of invaders. Build and manage a fortified settlement by day, then defend it by night against relentless waves of monstrous enemies. Craft walls, towers, and defenses, recruit survivors, and manage resources to keep your community alive in a world on the brink of collapse. Players can experience Stoneguard solo or team up in co-op with up to four players, coordinating strategies and sharing resources to protect the Lifestone together.

Rather than offering a god’s eye view of the landscape, players take on the role of the current Ruler of Earth, who has escaped the capital with the Lifestone to protect it from alien invaders. Combat is brutal and tactical where precise weapon strikes can sever limbs, permanently affecting enemies and comrades alike. Forge powerful weapons from the amputated limbs of your fallen foes. Every lost limb carries severe consequences, hindering your performance in both battle and daily survival. But as long as the Lifestone is protected, there are ways to heal your battle wounds.

Command your forces through escalating nighttime assaults, face powerful bosses, and craft weapons forged from fallen monsters. Experience a unique blend of base-building, resource management, and real-time combat from a third-person perspective, shaped by a dynamic day–night cycle.

“We love strategy defense games and immersive sandbox survival games,” said husband and wife duo William and Honor Hasketton from ThornSpire Games. “Stoneguard combines both into something fresh and tactical. As the Ruler of Earth, you’ll manage your settlement and your recruited survivors to keep the precious Lifestone from being stolen each night. It’s still Early Access, so the game isn’t fully polished yet, and your feedback will help us improve it. Try it out during Steam Next Fest ahead of the March 19th launch.”
