Pathogen introduces an all-new campaign which explores the deadly effects of the black goo infection inspired by the Alien universe. This pathogen can change not only local flora and fauna, but also any Xenomorphs exposed to it, causing them to hunt and kill anything they can find, including non-mutated Xenomorphs.
Showcasing multiple sneak peeks at what players can expect in the expansion, the new Pathogen trailer highlights players’ first ever head-to-head boss encounter in Aliens Fireteam Elite. Three-person Fireteams will have to dive deep into a mutated enemy hive to outsmart and overcome a terrifyingly mutated Xenomorph Queen.
In addition to a slew of cosmetics, weapons, and weapon attachments, all players will also get a new, free Hardcore Mode that will test their skills in increasingly difficult battles, which may result in permadeath. Red Barrels, the independent game development studio based in Montreal, today presented the new gameplay trailer for The Outlast Trials during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2022. This whole new take on the Outlast survival horror experience enters a Closed Beta playtest over Halloween weekend, from Friday October 28th to Tuesday November 1st, 2022.
Set in the height of the Cold War era, players take on the role of test subjects abducted by the shadowy Murkoff Corporation. Imprisoned in a secret Murkoff facility, players will be thrust into a series of physical and mental ordeals, tormented by iconic characters, and challenged alone or in teams to survive with their sanity intact.
“Last year, we debuted the first gameplay trailer for The Outlast Trials at Opening Night Live, and were overwhelmed by the positive reception,” said David Chateauneuf, Red Barrels co-founder and designer. “So it’s fantastic to be back again this year, and be able to provide a date for when test subjects… sorry, I mean fans, can enter the Closed Beta trials.”

DJI Avata is equipped with both an Infrared Sensing System and a two-camera Downward Vision System. Scheduled for release on September 8th 2022 on PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S, the beta of Steelrising opens the 25th of August at 10:00 am CEST for all players who preordered the game.
The beta proposes two of these levels: Saint Cloud and Les Invalides. The players will be able to try various builds, test several weapons and find their favorite playstyle for the game launch in these two levels, replayable at will.

Publisher Deep Silver and developer Dambuster Studios unveiled Dead Island 2 with an incredible CGI trailer showcasing the brand-new zombie adventure’s take on humor in the apocalypse during Gamescom’s global livestream event Opening Night Live.

Warner Bros. Games revealed an all-new trailer for Hogwarts Legacy, the upcoming open-world, action role-playing game in development by Avalanche Software, scheduled to launch Feb. 10, 2023. The “Sebastian Sallow’s Dark Legacy” gameplay trailer showcases some of the darker elements players will encounter, including a closer look at the game’s more dangerous locales, sinister foes and fearsome magical creatures lurking in the shadows. Focusing on one of Hogwarts Legacy’s optional companion questlines with Sebastian Sallow, the trailer also provides a glimpse at the Unforgivable Curses and difficult dilemmas players will face as they learn more about the Sallow family’s mystery and decide whether to engage with, or even embrace, the Dark Arts.
Starting August 25, Hogwarts Legacy will be available for pre-order on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One consoles and PC via the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Steam and Epic Games Store. The Nintendo Switch pre-order date will be revealed soon. All players that pre-order will be able to obtain the exclusive Onyx Hippogriff Mount upon completing the relevant quest.
