Dune: Spice Wars Steam Early Access Date

Publishers Funcom and Developers Shiro Games are thrilled to announce that on April 26, Dune: Spice Wars enters Early Access. Marking the first time in two decades that players will be able to set foot on Dune in a game, Dune: Spice Wars has shot up the Steam wishlists chart since its recent announcement at The Game Awards 2021 in December.

This union between real-time strategy and 4X elements, based on Frank Herbert’s sci-fi masterpiece, Dune, pits four factions against each other on the desert planet of Arrakis, the only source of the most valuable resource in the universe: spice.

Along with the Early Access release, the fourth playable faction has also been revealed today as the Fremen. With a greater capacity to move across and withstand the open desert, less chance to attract colossal sandworms, and an improved ability to ally with hidden Sietches (neutral native settlements), the Fremen are uniquely poised to expand their area of influence in order to control the planet. Discover everything about the native desert survivors in today’s new faction reveal.

“With so many massive Dune fans in the studio, the excitement I see every day of working with this universe is very real, and we hope this comes across in the game,” says Sebastien Vidal, CEO of Shiro Games. “With all this passion for the source material, and all the know-how we’ve gathered from making Northgard, we can’t wait to put this game into players’ hands.”

Balance military power, infiltration, political influence, and resource production as either the Atreides, Harkonnen, Smugglers, or Fremen, each with their own distinct strengths and weaknesses. Explore the desert, expand, and seize control: The spice must flow.

Besides publishing Dune: Spice Wars, Funcom is also developing an open world survival multiplayer game set in the Dune universe. The company holds the exclusive rights to develop and publish Dune games on PC and consoles.

Kapital: Sparks of Revolution Release Date Trailer

1C Entertainment and Lapovich Team have today unveiled the release date for Kapital: Sparks of Revolution – the sandbox economic simulation game about class struggle. Get ready to guide a fledgling city through its turbulent period of growth, balancing the needs of the economic classes with the limited resources at their disposal, when the game lands on April 28, 2022 for PC.

Players take control of a ruined city after a conflict and must pull it up from the ashes to flourish again, but this means tough decisions have to be made. Passing laws, building infrastructure, imposing taxation, and gathering resources are just a few of the concerns a leader has to face, all of which will impact the people and their happiness.

Social unrest may arrive as a result of decisions made in the city, and it’s up to the player to ensure the happiness of the people through entertainment, resource distribution, housing, medicine, and policing if tensions spill into the streets. Not everyone can be pleased at all times, and when radicals gather outside the palace, things can get ugly.

Kapital: Sparks of Revolution will be available on April 28 via Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and other digital platforms. Priced at 24.99 USD / 24.99 EUR / 19.99 GBP, a 15% launch discount will be available during the first week.

Sporting state-of-the-art specs and seamless compatibility with the newest generation of game consoles, HD60 X equips anyone to stream and record their gameplay in the highest quality without limitations.

Building on the acclaimed HD60 S+, HD60 X features all-new architecture with rear ports to keep cables out of sight. The palm-sized, plug-and-play device connects to a console and sends video to both a gaming display and PC. You can then play high-fidelity games while livestreaming to Twitch or YouTube in Full HD 1080p60 quality, while simultaneously recording 1080p60 HDR10 footage to your hard drive. Instant Gameview technology syncs your broadcast with your gameplay, allowing you to monitor your capture feed with ultra-low latency.

“User-generated gaming content is one of the biggest entertainment vehicles in the world,” said Julian Fest, SVP and GM of Elgato. “We’ve pioneered the proliferation of this content for 10 years now. Our game capture solutions span three console generations and have powered hundreds of millions of uploads and livestreams. 4K Capture Utility (4KCU), Elgato’s powerful yet easy-to-use game capture software, is custom-built for creators looking to record without limitations. 4KCU captures all content – gameplay, cutscenes, soundtrack, chat – in high-resolution 1080p60 HDR10 or 4K30 quality with pristine 48kHz audio. If 4KCU is not set to record, Flashback Recording automatically caches several hours of gameplay so you can slide back in time to capture retroactively. Live Commentary enables you to save your voice as a separate track and adjust levels on the fly. Gameplay recordings are saved directly to your hard drive in space-saving HEVC format. 4KCU’s Library enables convenient file management tools, including Smart Folders to find and group recordings based on your search criteria. Files may be exported as AAF files for immediate editing in software such as Adobe Premiere or Vegas Pro.

For systems short on space, the XH303i RGB PRO is powered by a compact XD3 RGB Pump/Reservoir Combo featuring a high-performance DDC PWM pump, with airflow driven by three SP120 RGB ELITE fans with AirGuide technology to concentrate airflow through a high-density radiator.
