SEGA has released a new, restricted trailer for its upcoming KINECT horror game, Rise of Nightmares, titled “Granny Gets Censored”. Rise of Nightmares is due out on September 6, 2011.

SEGA has revealed its playable games list for the upcoming PAX Prime gaming expo, which runs from August 26 through August 28, 2011. Their lineup claims that not only with attendees be able to get their hands on titles like Binary Domain and Rise of Nightmares, but ALSO Aliens: Colonial Marines!

SEGA is once again throwing an arcade event to celebrate its fans. Located at GameWorks near the convention center (1511 7th Avenue, Seattle), the event is open to the public and kicks off at 6pm on Saturday, August 27th and goes until 12am.
EA Sports has announced that twelve NHL greats the likes of Wayne Gretzky and Chris Chelios, to name two, will be featured in their upcoming EA Sports NHL 12. The players will be accessible as “legends” in the game, playable in “virtually” every game mode – including the new “Be A Legend” mode. In this mode, the player will basically be playing the “Be A Pro” game mode – just as one of the hockey greats throughout their career.
Wayne Gretzky, Ray Bourque and recent U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame inductee and perennial all-star, Chris Chelios, will all be featured as Legends in NHL® 12, along with six additional former NHL greats who will be announced over the course of the next week. Harmonix has announced that new tracks from both Fall Out Boy and Deep Purple will hit the Rock Band Music Store this week, on August 16.

Vuzix Corporation has announced the release of their Wrap 1200 video eyewear display. The Wrap 1200 features two 852×480 LCD displays with 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratio options. The screens replicate viewing a 75″ inch display from ten feet away (only in the privacy of your own eyeballs). NTSC and PAL compatible, the Wrap 1200 also allows for viewing of both 2D and 3D video. The Wrap 1200 is available in limited quantities for a retail price of $499.99. Gamers take note – a head-tracking version of the design, dubbed the Wrap 1200 VR, will be available later this month.
