Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 MOSFET Review (Airsoft)

AC-UPI-BW-KK

The Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 MOSFET is an excellent add-on to your airsoft gun. The Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 plugs in between your airsoft gun’s battery connector and battery itself, allowing plug-and-play attachment to your airsoft gun. In this out of the box, plug and play mode, it replaces your normally full-auto fire mode with a three-round burst fire mode – something that a lot of players ask for. This feature alone is worth the price of admission if you desire a more controlled usage of your ammunition – midcap and standard capacity magazine players, take note!

The Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 also includes a wiring kit to hard-wire it into your airsoft gun – thereby allowing it to function as a true MOSFET, protecting your trigger contacts as well as a multitude of other features. The instructions are very easy to follow and, if you have some experience teching your airsoft guns, you shouldn’t have too much trouble with them. As for me – I rely on the folks over at Tsunami Airsoft in Orange, CA for my tech work and they had my airsoft gun back to me in just a couple days.

Video Review

Aside from the three-round burst feature, I really enjoyed the ability to set a realistic reload function for players who only bring hicap magazines on to the field. What this option does is use a user-programmed number of shots, after which time the gun will be inactive for a set number of seconds. Why it does this is to simulate the amount of time it would have taken you to reload a lesser-capacity magazine. Some fields disallow the use of hicaps – so this could be a nice way to still play there if that’s all you carry in your loadout.

Overall, the Burst Wizard King Kong Super 2 MOSFET is easily worth its weight in functionality. We can easily award it a 5 out of 5 stars for its low price, plug-and-play operation, as well as the ability to be hardwired into your airsoft gun. It retails for $37.99 at several online airsoft retailers as well as its manufacturer’s product page.

Dying Light Delayed Until February 2015

dying-light-248732545269799_854105431_o

May 8th, 2014 — We know you’ve been waiting on a Dying Light release date for quite some time now. After careful consideration, we have decided to release our upcoming game in February 2015. Since this means Dying Light will launch a few months later than originally planned, we feel obliged to explain the reasons that influenced this important decision.

When we started the development of Dying Light, we were committed to innovation. We wanted to give you a freedom of movement unprecedented in open-world games. After many improvements and months of hard work, we have now come so close to realizing our initial vision we feel we cannot stop before it is ready.

We believe the Natural Movement element of our game will change what you expect from the genre, and we don’t want to sacrifice any of its potential by releasing too early. This quality-focused thinking underlines all our development choices and we hope you share our belief that the gameplay must always come first.

The new date ensures that we can fully realize our vision of an innovative open-world game. We won’t need to make compromises or trade-offs on any of the five platforms we’re working on. For you, it means an outstanding, original game that makes the wait more than worthwhile.

Finally, we would like to thank our publishing partner, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, which fully supports our decision. It’s a real pleasure to work in an environment where quality is universally accepted as the top priority. We believe that this is the only way to make truly incredible games.
We also have an additional announcement for you: starting next month at E3 2014, we’ll be telling you much more about all the exciting features and different aspects of Dying Light. Stay tuned!

– Dying Light Team

The Elder Scrolls Online Console Version Delayed

377157_theelderscrollsonline_screenshot_daedroth_1_medium

May 8, 2014 — We’ve been grateful to our fans for the wonderful response to our recent launch of The Elder Scrolls Online for PC/Mac, but we know many of you are eagerly waiting to play the game on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

We continue to work on the console versions of ESO, and game development has been progressing steadily, but we are still working to solve a series of unique problems specific to those platforms. Integrating our systems with each console manufacturer’s networks — which are both different from the PC/Mac system as well as different from each other—has been a challenging process. It has become clear that our planned June release of the console versions isn’t going to be possible. Though we have made great progress, we have concluded that we’ll need about six months to ensure we deliver the experience our fans expect and deserve.

We know that the news of an ESO console delay is as disappointing to many of you as it is to us. We want to do what we can to make it up to our fans who want to start playing now, so we have worked out the following arrangement with Sony and Microsoft:

Via a special offer, anyone who purchases and plays the PC/Mac version of The Elder Scrolls Online by the end of June will have the opportunity to transfer their character(s) to either console version when they are released. The offer will allow you to begin playing immediately on the PC/Mac, and then add the PS4 or Xbox One version and transfer the character(s) you have created and developed. And, you don’t have to pay full price for the game twice. For $20, eligible PC and Mac players will have the option to add a full, digital version of ESO on either the PS4 or the Xbox One with your character transfer(s), and another 30 days of included game time.

Whether you decide to take advantage of this offer or not, we promise to do everything we can to get the game released on both consoles as quickly as we can. We will keep everyone updated with additional details regarding character transfers, specific offer dates, when you can expect console beta to start, and of course, when ESO on consoles will launch.

Thank you for your patience and loyal support.
