Umarex Announces Limited Edition Walther PPQ Airsoft Pistol

Dying Light Co-Op and PvP Update Trailer

January 12th, 2016 – Wroclaw, Poland/ Today Techland expanded Steam Workshop’s Dying Light Dev Tools with the cooperation and player-vs-player functionalities. This free update opens up completely new creative options for players, who can now design cooperation-based scenarios and deathmatch maps.

The update launches alongside PvP-focused custom map Don’t Drown created by RabidSquirrel, an active member of the Dying Light community. The map is set in an island and features an ever-rising water level to keep the combatants motivated. ‘Don’t Drown has players explore the island and avoid zombies in search of powerful weapons which they can then use to take on one another.

‘Just like with the main game we’ve been supporting the Dev Tools for almost a year now, and we’ve already seen amazingly creative stuff from our fans’ – says producer Tymon Smektała. – ‘We believe the co-op and PvP support can inspire a new wave of original maps for everyone to enjoy. At the same time, we’re working hard to bring some of the very best custom maps to consoles, and I hope we’ll have something to announce soon.

DC Universe Online Coming to Xbox One and Celebrating 5th Anniversary

SAN DIEGO – Jan. 11, 2016 – Daybreak Game Company is celebrating the fifth anniversary of the launch of DC Universe™ Online (DCUO) with the news that the massively multiplayer online superhero game is coming this spring to Xbox One. Additionally, Daybreak announced that cross-play functionality will be available for players on the PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system and PC the week of Jan. 25, 2016.

Since its release in 2011, DC Universe Online has received continual updates with new storylines and challenges through an evolving series of Episodes. Over 40 legendary DC Comics characters have been added to the Legends roster in the past five years, including The Joker, Bane, Batman, Deathstroke, Supergirl, Superman and Wonder Woman. Players have created more than 35 million heroes and villains since the game was introduced, equipping them with their favorite superpowers, most notably the ability to fly, which accounts for more than half of the in-game player powers in Metropolis and Gotham City.

In 2015, DCUO updated Supergirl’s look to coincide with the CBS television show, launched DC Comics Bombshells content in conjunction with the comic book, celebrated The Flash’s 75th anniversary, released two new power sets – Munitions and Atomic, concluded The League of Assassins and Trigon storylines, and much more. In addition to PC-PS4™ cross-play and DCUO’s launch on the Xbox One, this year players can look forward to Water powers as well as storylines featuring Superman, Halls of Power, Harley Quinn and characters from DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Razer Announces Nabu Watch

LAS VEGAS (CES 2016) – Razer, a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, today announced the Razer Nabu Watch. The full-featured digital timepiece includes a Nabu secondary screen that previews notifications streamed from a smartphone, as well as tracks fitness and sleep activity via an in-built accelerometer.

Knott’s Partners with Susan G. Komen for Third Year

Buena Park, CA (Jan. 2016) – Knott’s Berry Farm and Susan G. Komen Orange County are partnering, for a third year, to raise money for breast cancer awareness, services and research by offering a special “Pink Ticket” and limited edition “pink” t-shirt, January 4 through March 18.

The 2016 campaign will focus on the promise that Komen founder Nancy G. Brinker made to her dying sister, Susan G. Komen: that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, Brinker’s promise fueled the launch of Susan G. Komen®, a global movement that has grown into the world’s largest nonprofit source of funding for the fight against breast cancer.
