Magazine Game Informer has let slip the cover to their upcoming January issue, which features a front and back panel of Dead Space 2 protagonist, Isaac Clarke, fighting a necromorph. Most interesting in this spread, however, is the character’s new armor design, which has a much more aggressive look than the designs in the first game.
Veteran actor Lance Henriksen (Near Dark, Aliens) has been cast to appear in Rebellion’s upcoming Aliens vs Predator title. Henriksen has not only lent his voice to the game but also his likeness. He will play Karl Bishop Weyland, descendant of the founder of the Weyland Corporation. Fans of the mythos will know that the Weyland Corporation eventually merges with another to become the Weyland-Yutani Corp, a malevolent entity behind much of the dastardly human happenings in the Alien and Aliens movies.
Aliens vs Predator is due out in February 19th of 2010.

Eidos/Square Enix Europe has released a new mini-doc vid for their upcoming Just Cause 2 talking about the game’s vehicle stunts. At E3, I remember seeing some really cool footage of the game’s protagonist, Rico, jumping from car to car planting C4 and this video does a great job at showing how much further they are taking the action. Just Cause 2 is scheduled for release on March 23, 2010.
You can also see some new screenshots of the game, After the Break!
In this new developer video/trailer for the upcoming MMO, Star Trek Online, Cryptic Studio devs talk about the game’s ‘Fleet Action’ system. It appears as though these Fleet Actions are randomly-generated, large-scale events that captains from around the quadrant will be able to take part in. For instance, the video talks about several captains who received messages from Starfleet Command that a Starbase was under attack. The captains either accept or deny the communication and, if accepted, they will warp into what could be an instance with the other captains who also agreed. Check out the vid for more – and checkout the game when it releases on February 2nd, 2010.
