LOS ANGELES (Sept. 28, 2017) – At this year’s New York Comic Con (booth # 1804), SQUARE ENIX® will offer hands-on demos for the newly announced Secret of Mana® and Spelunker Party!™ , as well asDISSIDIA® FINAL FANTASY® NT, FINAL FANTASY XV POCKET EDITION, FINAL FANTASY XV MULTIPLAYER EXPANSION: COMRADES, FINAL FANTASY XV WINDOWS EDITION, GRAVEL, LIFE IS STRANGE™: BEFORE THE STORM™ LOST SPHEAR™ and Project Hikari.

Show attendees are invited to take part in the DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT tournaments for a chance to win limited edition prizes, including themed battle tours t-shirts. Fans can also try their hand at competing in the FINAL FANTASY TRADING CARD GAME Drafts and Sealed Tournaments.

“Grinchmas™” returns to Universal Studios Hollywood with a Who-lebration of fun fit for The Grinch, his faithful dog Max and a roster of Who-ville Whos.  The annual event comes to life with a towering 60 foot tall whimsical “Grinchmas” tree where Martha May Who-vier and the Who Dolls will take center stage performing energetic musical sets to usher in the Christmas season in style.  The Who-liday Singers—a hip boy-band ensemble—will perform nightly a cappella concerts featuring a mix of Christmas favorites and pop rock.

“Grinchmas” will take place weekends on December 2-3 and 9-10, and daily from December 15 through December 31, 2017.

Ghost War will be free for all players who own the base game and will receive regular updates with new content added post-launch.

In Ghost War, two groups of players will take part in a 4v4 team deathmatch experience that builds on the tactical squad play from the main game, where strategy is equally as important as skill. Teams will choose from a roster of varied classes across three categories including Assault, Marksman and Support, fulfilling specific roles on the battlefield as they navigate large-scale open maps and take down their enemies. 2K Unveils WWE 2K18 Season Pass Details

2017 Screamfest Horror Film Festival Official Schedule Announced

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – September 26, 2017 – Screamfest Horror Film Festival, America’s largest, and longest running horror movie festival, announces its 2017 official schedule and the second wave of its festival line up.  The fest will run from Oct. 10 – 19, 2017 at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood. Over its seventeen-year run, the female-run festival has launched careers – providing a platform for filmmakers and actors to showcase their latest work to enthusiasts and general audiences.

“We are excited to share the truly imaginative work these diverse filmmakers have created to our audience,” said Rachel Belofsky, Screamfest Founder and Festival Director.  “These films push the envelope and raise the bar.”

This year’s festival will showcase a total of 19 feature films.  Badges are currently on sale to the general public at www.ScreamfestLA.com and individual film tickets and day passes will also be available.

Along with the myriad of horror films at the festival, Screamfest will also host several special screenings.

  • On October 13, as a tribute to the late Tobe Hooper, Screamfest will show The Funhouse, a film that follows four teenage friends who spend the night in a carnival funhouse and are stalked by a deformed man in a Frankenstein mask.
  • In honor of the upcoming 30thAnniversary of the release of Child’s Play, Screamfest will present a special screening of the film on October 14.  It will be followed by a Q&A with director Tom Holland to be moderated by Sean Decker and Jack Ulrich. Child’s Play follows a single mother who gives her son a much sought after doll for his birthday, only to discover that it is possessed by the soul of a serial killer.
