The TNets (TBS, TNT, truTV) are celebrating winter break early and are getting into the holiday spirit with some of the season’s most iconic films throughout the months of November, December, and January. It all starts with the holiday classic Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas (1966)” on TBS November 6; new “AEW Rampage” episodes, the network TV premiere of “Rise of a Skywalker” on TNT November 7; a Thanksgiving Weekend Movie Marathon on TNT November 25-28; a Thanksgiving Weekend Movie Marathon on TBS on November 27 followed by the premiere of “Harry Potter: Hogwarts Tournament of Houses” on November 28; the beloved annual “A Christmas Story” 24 Hour Marathon on TBS & TNT starting on December 24; New Year’s Eve Movie Marathons on both TBS & TNT on December 31; and New Year’s Day Movie Marathons on both TBS & TNT on January 1.

This year, the park brings back all your holiday favorites with Christmas shows like Home for the Holidays, a musical revue featuring classic seasonal tunes, outstanding performers, holiday lights and magical dancing toys, and the beloved ice show starring the famous beagle, the Peanuts Gang, and a cast of world-class ice skaters in Merry Christmas, Snoopy!, offering experiences for park-goers of all ages. With lively shows, beautiful holiday décor, and delicious holiday treats, Knott’s Merry Farm is sure to create lasting holiday memories for the whole family.

Celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with all your beloved, festive favorites that can only be found at Knott’s Merry Farm:

  • Festive yuletide cheer is in store at Knott’s Merry Farm with Home for the Holidays, where joyous merriment takes over the Calico Mine Stage with dancing and fun set to popular holiday tunes. Guests will be swept into a magical scene of an old-fashioned winter wonderland and celebrate timeless traditions.
  • Snoopy, the Peanuts, and a cast of world-class ice skaters return this holiday season to perform in the spectacular ice show, Merry Christmas, Snoopy! in the Walter Knott Theater. During the show, filled with whimsy and stunning skating, Snoopy enjoys all the best parts of the season, including trimming the Christmas tree, awaiting Santa’s arrival, and attending the festive Christmas Ball! Performances are available on select dates during Knott’s Merry Farm.
  • In the intimate setting of Ghost Town’s historic Bird Cage Theatre, Knott’s melodrama company brings to life Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol and Marley’s Wings. In Marley’s Wings, the Ghost of Jacob Marley returns in a holiday musical that is destined to become a classic! The Bird Cage piano will come alive with great new songs like “Raise the Rafters,” “Christmas in Heaven,” and “The Bah Hum Bug,” to name a few. Marley is on a mission! Performances are available on select dates during Knott’s Merry Farm.
  • The holiday season celebration continues at the Camp Snoopy Theatre with A Peanuts Guide to Christmas. The PEANUTS Gang offer their take and unique wisdom on surviving the holidays while singing a mashup of their favorite holiday tunes. After the show, head right over to the Peanuts Meet and Greet area to capture a lasting holiday memory with your favorite character!
  • Be transported back in time to a Victorian Christmas by the Calico Carolers, Knott’s own vocal quartet, as they perform the songs of the season throughout the streets of Ghost Town. Or travel to Calico Park for a soulful serenade of Christmas classics by acapella group, The Sleigh bells. You can also always grab a seat (and a plate!) at Fireman’s BBQ, where our legendary Bluegrass Duo takes the stage with a variety of classic bluegrass hits and old favorites, our Duo will have your toes tappin’ and your hands clappin’!
  • Swing in the season at Boardwalk Ballroom! The dance floor is open as the best swing bands around put their own spin on the season at the Tinsel Top Club. Or head over to the Boardwalk to experience the Rockin’ Reindeer, a musical duo who are the key to the season and a great way to enhance a wonderful meal at Boardwalk BBQ!
  • Join Krazy Kirk and the Hillbillies for a foot stompin’, down home dose of Christmas cheer the only way they know how – with energetic music and comedy for the whole family!  You won’t be able sit still when these talented musicians hit the stage at Wagon Camp! Or grab a seat for a South of the Border Show filled with rich history, tradition and the spirit of the season. Traditional mariachi is the name of the game at the Fiesta Plaza Stage with the Mariachi Angelitas.
  • Join 1950’s radio personalities Wayne Deer and Ginger Snaps as they present their annual Christmas broadcast from the KNOT studio in the heart of the Boardwalk. This hilarious duo does it all, from spinning records to taking requests. And keep an ear out for some important Christmas commercials.
  • Everyone’s favorite time of the year in Ghost Town is when Wilderness Dance Hall joyously transforms into Santa’s Christmas Cabin, where the entire family can create fond memories by taking photos with Santa Claus and his friends. It’s also home to an array of holiday treats, including freshly baked cookies, delectable pastries and seasonal drinks such as gourmet hot chocolate with marshmallows or a cold glass of milk, perfect for dunking your cookie in.
  • Mrs. Claus is back in the North Pole managing the elves as they get ready to deliver toys to all the good boys and girls. She has left her trusty bakers in charge at Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen. Kids can help decorate one of Mrs. Claus’ delicious cookies for a small nominal fee and bring home their delightful creations.
  • Even more delicious holiday dishes and one-of-a-kind treats can be found throughout Knott’s Merry Farm. Guests can indulge in traditional holiday classics with a twist, including a Merry Farm favorite, crispy breaded turkey bites filled with perfectly seasoned stuffing and sweet cranberry sauce or funnel cake topped with pumpkin pie flavors and maple syrup sauce.   • Every night during Merry Farm, when the sun sets, the park comes alive as the lights of the season brighten the night and kick off a night filled with memories for the whole family! The Elder Scrolls Online: Deadlands is Out Now

Today, we are excited to release the final DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online’s year-long “Gates of Oblivion” storyline. The Elder Scrolls Online: Deadlands is available now for all PC/MAC and Stadia players. The new DLC will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on November 16.

The end is here with the cataclysmic conclusion to the “Gates of Oblivion” year-long adventure. Players must explore uncharted lands, meet strange new allies, and foil Dagon’s plans to rule Nirn in this action-packed 20-hour finale. The DLC delivers new missions that are unlocked by completing storylines in both the Deadlands DLC and Blackwood Chapter.

Those who’ve played The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will recognize some parts of the Deadlands from the BGS classic, but captivating new regions also await in The Burn, The Sever, and the desert metropolis known as Fargrave. From molten rivers to vicious storms to a bustling city of trade, these new areas expand The Elder Scrolls lore in new directions to capture the imaginations of even the most dedicated Elder Scrolls fan.

Additionally, Deadlands introduces the new Armory system, allowing players to quickly swap custom character builds from their Homestead. Players can acquire the free Armory Station furnishing item from the Crown Store and place it in any of their homes, to be able to save, load or customize their characters’ unique builds.

The Deadlands game pack is available for purchase through the in-game Crown Store and is included at no charge for ESO Plus subscribers. The new DLC is available now on PC/MAC and Stadia, and will launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4 on November 16. Sword of the Necromancer Out Now on Xbox Series X and PS5

Grimorio of Games & JanduSoft are pleased to announce the Next Gen versions of the monster summoning action RPG Sword of the Necromancer. These versions are to be released on November 1st, just 3 years after the game’s first announcement.

The PS5 and Xbox Series versions of the game include the Extra Modes DLC that was released on this past June. They also feature faster load times and better performance overall thanks to the new consoles’ hardware.

Owners of the PS4 and Xbox One versions will be able to upgrade the game to the PS4 and Xbox Series versions for free. This includes the PS4 physical edition that was released on September 30th

Leading video game publisher and developer BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. and Supermassive Games announce the fourth feature of The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me.

In The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me, a group of documentary filmmakers receive a mysterious invite to a replica of the ‘Murder Castle’ of H.H. Holmes, America’s first serial killer. They soon discover that they’re being watched, and there is much more at stake.

Step into the anthology’s most bloodcurdling story yet, where players’ choices, more than ever, determines who lives and who dies. Players will watch in horror as their unfortunate crew falls prey to a twisted game master who is observing their every move.

As players wait for the launch of The Devil in Me; they can get into the Halloween spirit with The Dark Pictures Anthology’s previous chapters: Man of Medan, Little Hope, and the recently released House of Ashes.

Production on the live-action comedy “Hocus Pocus 2,” the haunting sequel to Disney’s Halloween cult classic, is underway in Rhode Island. The Disney+ original film directed by Anne Fletcher (“Dumplin,’” “The Proposal”) will debut exclusively on Disney+ in Fall 2022.

Bette Midler (“The First Wives Club,” “Beaches”), Sarah Jessica Parker (“Sex and the City,” “Divorce”), and Kathy Najimy (“Sister Act,” “Younger”) star as Winifred, Sarah, and Mary, the delightfully wicked Sanderson sisters who bewitched audiences in the 1993 film “Hocus Pocus.” Doug Jones (“The Shape of Water,” “What We Do in the Shadows”) also returns as Billy Butcherson. Joining them are Whitney Peak (“Gossip Girl,” “Molly’s Game”) as Becca, Lilia Buckingham (“Dirt,” “Crown Lake”) as Cassie, and Belissa Escobedo (“American Horror Stories,” “The Baker and the Beauty”) as Izzy, three young women in present-day Salem who incite the wrath of the three witches.

It’s been 29 years since someone lit the Black Flame Candle and resurrected the 17th-century sisters who were executed for practicing witchcraft, and they are looking for revenge. Now it is up to three high-school students to figure out how to stop the ravenous witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on Salem before midnight on All Hallow’s Eve.

“I am beyond thrilled to be involved in the sequel to a film that is as beloved as ‘Hocus Pocus,’” says director Anne Fletcher. “Fans around the world have embraced these characters and have made this film a Halloween tradition whose popularity continues to grow, and how lucky am I to be back at Disney with these three extraordinarily talented ladies in the iconic roles they created, as well as our fabulous new additions to the cast?”

“Hocus Pocus 2” is written by Jen D’Angelo (“Happy Together,” “Workaholics”) and produced by Lynn Harris (“King Richard,” “The Shallows”), with Adam Shankman (“Disenchanted,” “Hairspray”), Ralph Winter (“Hocus Pocus,” “X-Men” franchise) and David Kirschner (“Hocus Pocus,” “Chucky”) serving as executive producers.

Rounding out the cast are recent Emmy® winner Hannah Waddingham (“Ted Lasso,” “Game of Thrones”), Tony Hale (“Veep,” “Arrested Development”), Sam Richardson (“The Tomorrow War,” “Good Boys”), Juju Brener (“Vanquish”), Froy Gutierrez (“Teen Wolf”), Taylor Paige Henderson and Nina Kitchen.

Disney Blows Us Away with New Trailer for The Book of Boba Fett

Today, Disney+ debuted the exciting, action-packed trailer and brand-new key art for “The Book of Boba Fett,” a new series from Lucasfilm, launching exclusively on the streaming service on December 29.

“The Book of Boba Fett,” a thrilling Star Wars adventure teased in a surprise end-credit sequence following the Season 2 finale of “The Mandalorian,” finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

“The Book of Boba Fett” stars Temuera Morrison and Ming-Na Wen. Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson are the executive producers. Karen Gilchrist and Carrie Beck serve as co-executive producers, with John Bartnicki producing and John Hampian as co-producer.

Celebrate Godzilla’s Birthday This November with a 48-hour Marathon and Godzilla vs. TokuSHOUTsu: Friday Night Kaiju, Featuring 17 Classic Kaiju Films

This November, celebrate 67 years of Godzilla with your fellow Kaiju and toku fans with two monstrous events on TokuSHOUTsu and Shout! Factory TV. Utilizing high-definition restorations of the films, these marathons mark the first time these titles are available on either channel.

The party kicks off on November 3rd with a 48-hour Godzilla movie marathon starting at 12 am PT on Shout! Factory TV with 17 Kaiju films starting with Godzilla, The Uncut Japanese Original (Gojira) with subsequent films, including Godzilla Raids Again (1955), airing in chronological order.

Following the two-day birthday marathon, fans can keep the party going each Friday in November with Godzilla vs. TokuSHOUTsu: Friday Night Kaiju Marathons. Starting Friday, November 5th at 4 pm PT / 7pm ET, each Friday night will feature a four-film lineup of classic Kaiju films making their debuts on the channel.

Dead by Daylight is the only game where players can become two iconic Killers from two of the greatest horror franchises — Capcom’s Nemesis from the Resident EvilTM series and Konami’s Pyramid Head from Silent HillTM. To pay tribute to these beloved villains, Dead by Daylight’s creators are releasing a video in which the two Killers don never-before seen outfits exclusive to the Entity’s Realm. It’s fitting that the game picked the scariest day of the year to remind its community that only by stepping into the Fog can they embody and encounter the most feared Killers in horror history.

New Hallowed Curse Collection Available Now

This Blighted Legends trailer released on Halloween features the two horror icons with their brand-new Blighted Sets, part of the Hallowed Curse Collection. Visually striking and delightfully twisted, the new sets are inspired by the Blight, a season causing putrid flowers to ooze a mysterious nectar. Once injected with this liquid, Killers become mutated, oozing with blight serum themselves. The Nemesis Blight and the Pyramid Blight Sets can be purchased via the in-game store for 1,080 Auric Cells each.

Two Horror Icons Under One Realm

Over the last five years, Dead by Daylight has become the Hall of Fame of Horror, a game where fans of the genre can embody their favorite legends — including Killers from prominent horror series Resident Evil and Silent Hill.

Released last June, the Resident Evil Chapter features the monstrous Nemesis as the Killer. With his powerful tentacle, he infects the Survivors, making them weaker and louder in their agony. Nemesis is also accompanied by relentless zombies — the game’s first AI-controlled characters. On the Survivor side, the Resident Evil Chapter brings beloved characters Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, Chris Redfield, and Claire Redfield into the Fog. In addition to stepping into the shoes of these famed heroes, players also get the quintessential Resident Evil experience by exploring the Raccoon City Police Station, a now decrepit relic of what was once a beacon of justice and one of the city’s emblematic landmarks.

The Silent Hill Chapter was released on the game’s fourth anniversary in 2020. Set in the Midwich Elementary School – a scene of unspeakable horrors – Silent Hill pits Survivor Cheryl Mason against the unforgiving Killer Pyramid Head. Known in-game as The Executioner, Pyramid Head is a sadistic and merciless murderer fixated on dispensing punishment through pain. Never without his hulking blade in tow, the villain entered the Fog to fulfill his nefarious duty. Luckily, Cheryl is not alone – players can roam the realm as Silent Hill icons James Sunderland, Cybil Bennett, Lisa Garland, and Alessia Gillespie.
