Today, Fenris Creations launched EVE Online: Cradle of War, the new expansion for the iconic sci-fi spacefaring MMO EVE Online. As tensions rise between New Eden’s great empires, Cradle of War opens the first chapter of the Theatres of War trilogy, a multi-expansion arc that gives capsuleers more power to directly shape the future of empire warfare and permanently alter parts of New Eden.

At the center of the Cradle of War expansion are Military Campaigns, a new system that connects thousands of individual capsuleer actions into larger, coordinated wars with visible consequences. Whether fighting on the frontlines, hauling supplies, mining resources, or gathering intelligence, every contribution matters. Campaign outcomes can reshape infrastructure, establish new stargate connections, and create lasting changes across New Eden.

Built to bring more of New Eden into the fight, EVE Online: Cradle of War lowers the barrier to empire conflict while keeping its strategic scale intact. Alongside Military Campaigns, the expansion introduces:

Exordium Starter Space: Begin in EVE’s first shared PvP-free starter region, a major update to new player onboarding where rookies can learn together, build confidence, meet mentors, and contribute to starter-friendly Military Campaign objectives before stepping into the wider wars of New Eden.
Eight New Ships: Take command of four new Tech II Command Carriers built to introduce new capital-scale fleet support through command bursts, battlefield control, and stronger coordination in major engagements. Four new Navy Destroyers also join the fray, giving newer and veteran capsuleers fast, affordable ships that open more paths into PvE, PvP, and Factional Warfare.
Titles and Achievements: Track progress, complete goals, and unlock titles that act as visible markers of each capsuleer’s identity across New Eden. Displayed throughout player interactions, titles help showcase a pilot’s accomplishments, reputation, and role in the universe.
‘Visions of Greatness’ Epic Arc: Relive four defining moments in New Eden’s history, with one hyper-real simulation for each empire. New players can better understand faction identities and allegiances, while veterans can experience legendary events long known through EVE lore.
Theatres of War Dashboard: Follow campaign goals, live progress, personal contributions, Factional Warfare activity, pirate FOBs, and other war systems from a new centralized dashboard.

With the Cradle of War expansion, empire conflict is no longer only the domain of frontline combat pilots. Builders, miners, industrialists, mission runners, fleet commanders, and rookies all have a role to play as New Eden’s wars grow in scale and consequence. RuneScape: Dragonwilds Launches on Nintendo Switch 2 This September

Jagex: The RuneScape Company, announced during today’s Nintendo Direct showcase that their survival-crafting co-op game, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, will launch on Nintendo SwitchTM 2 on 15th September, 2026.

The game, which has sold over a million copies during its current Steam Early Access period, welcomes Nintendo players into the world of RuneScape for the very first time. Alone or in teams of up to four, players will explore the untamed, and fractured land marred by wild magic and terrifying dragons, build shelters, craft weapons, and carve their way through epic questlines and unforgettable encounters.

Today, Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC received their latest Season 3 update with Blastpoint, a packed update which features the remake of Battlefield 3’s all-time classic map Grand Bazaar, as the newly reimagined Cairo Bazaar.

This new spin on the iconic map is a tight, close-quarters combat space packed with alleyways and shops designed for deadly ambushes and intense gunfights. With updated visuals and audio, while featuring spaces that have been tweaked for higher intensity encounters, this map pays tribute to a classic while opening up combat flow in brand new ways.
