Osiris: New Dawn Teaser Trailer and Early Access Date

TWAIN HARTE, CA – September 15, 2016 – Independent game developer Fenix Fire Entertainment and Reverb Triple XP, an initiative of the veteran PR team at Reverb Communications, announced today that Osiris: New Dawn will launch into Steam’s Early Access program on September 28 and is in development for consoles.  After its worldwide debut at PAX West 2016, Osiris: New Dawn garnered the attention of show attendees with the game’s mix of incredible animation detail, sci-fi survival gameplay, and stellar visual fidelity.

“It’s amazing to finally bring our passion project to gamers everywhere who share our fascination with near-future, space exploration,” stated Brian McRae, founder and CEO of Fenix Fire Entertainment. “What started as a simple idea has blossomed into a gaming experience far beyond what we thought was possible, surprising even ourselves and driving us to be more and more ambitious with what is possible in Osiris: New Dawn. I’m looking forward to constructive feedback from players in hopes of improving the experience with full transparency in our Early Access development.”

Osiris: New Dawn is a striking new game that uniquely combines inventive crafting, exploration, and skillful combat. Gamers explore an alien system and colonize worlds of incredible wonders and unforgiving dangers.

The year is 2046 and mankind’s discovery of near-lightspeed “fold engine” propulsion has empowered mankind’s Osiris expeditionary missions to the Gliese 581 system. Players are part of the second colonization team sent by the U.N.E. (United Nations of Earth) to study potential habitable planets when the spacecraft malfunctions braking violently from light speed, forcing an emergency landing on the planet’s surface.

Players must overcome the dangers of unpredictable weather conditions by building a central base, expanding the structure further with modular units to grow food, create research centers, manufacture bays and more. To further advance technologies and thrive on the planet, they will traverse into a world filled equally with breathtaking landscapes and alien terrors that will freeze human blood.

“When we first saw Osiris: New Dawn, we knew this game had incredible potential and was the type of game we want to help market and dedicate our hours playing,” states Ted Lange, Executive Producer for Reverb Triple XP. “The amazing gameplay and mechanics are a direct reflection of the talent and hard work that Brian and his dev team have infused into the title over the past few years.”

Osiris: New Dawn is the five year project of industry veteran Brian McRae, founder of Fenix Fire Entertainment. McRae is a 15-year veteran of the industry having worked at Double Helix, Midway, and as the Lead Environmental Artist at Blizzard for the famous Starcraft: Ghosts project. Highly sought after for his industry expertise, McRae was responsible for many of the influential Oculus VR tech demos that include Tuscany World Demo, EVE: Online VR Demo, and the CinemaVR with John Carmack. His passion for space travel, science fiction, and creating video games worlds with amazing immersion led to the genesis of Osiris: New Dawn.

Winner of ‘PAX West Best Survival Game’ from MMOGames and ‘PAX West Best Indie MMO’ from MMORPG, Osiris: New Dawn will be launching on Steam Early Access September 28 and is currently in development for consoles.  New information and media will be rolling out in the weeks before the Early Access launch; players can join the mission of Osiris: New Dawn and follow the game development on Twitter, “Like” us on Facebook, and watch for the upcoming livestreams on Reverb’s Twitch channel.

13 Minutes of Gameplay from Horror Game Syndrome

September 14, 2016/ Camel 101 and BIGMOON Entertainment today announced that Syndrome, their claustrophobic survival horror title, releases October 6, 2016 on PC (Windows, Mac, Linux) and early 2017 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and VR platforms.

A member of the ship’s crew, you awaken from cryosleep to find it’s not at all the way you remember. Your friends and coworkers are gone. In their place, transformed monstrosities that kill without mercy. With the ship courseless and adrift in space, you’ll have to uncover the events that took place during your sleep if you have any hope of surviving this waking nightmare.

Syndrome takes survival horror back to its roots with weapons that are few and far between, and ammunition too limited to take out all the bloodthirsty creatures roaming about the dark confines of the ship. Fast and deadly, your enemies are not always better dealt with head-on―sometimes staying out of sight is a wiser decision.

Find out more about Syndrome at http://syndromegame.com/ and follow the developers on Facebook or Twitter.

Armored Warfare – Global Operations Trailer

Amsterdam, The Netherlands – September 8, 2016 – Obsidian Entertainment and global publisher My.com are proud to announce the brand new Global Operations mode for Armored Warfare. Global Operations will change the theatre of war by adding the biggest maps the game has seen to date. These maps are fully interactive with overhead surveillance drones, stealth bombers and static anti-tank turrets functioning as a third party support for each of the competing teams, if they find the right tactics to use them to their advantage. Global Operations is an exciting new game mode for the genre and fuses the PvE and PvP game modes together in a unique and explosive mix.

The mode will kick off Balance 2.0 coming to Armored Warfare’s overhauling and streamlining existing gameplay in the future. Armored Warfare will enhance the roles of state-of-the-art weapons, like guided missiles, and advanced vehicle defense systems and will sharpen its focus to make the battlefields truly feel like theatres of modern conflict. Both Global Operations and the changes coming alongside Balance 2.0 will get a release date in the near future.

Global Operations:

The first of the new maps to be introduced with Global Operations is the open desert map called “Desert Crossing.”  This map is bigger than any other map so far in Armored Warfare and features many interactive elements. Bombers flying overhead, AI-control turrets shooting at teams and surveillance drones will change the face of warfare in the game for good. Two mercenary forces and their local allies are clashing over a massive dry dock with an aircraft carrier in “Desert Crossing.” The battles in Global Operations are time limited and feature up to 15 vs 15 player teams. Each team starts with a pool of points. Destroying Enemy or AI controlled vehicles, and capturing control zones will reduce the enemies’ point count. If the team manages reduce this point score to zero, they secure victory!

Players can also capture special “Wildcard” objectives that give them the ability to call in military asset from their HQ, to tip the balance of the battle in their favor. The first map will contain the following “wildcards”:

  • Pillboxes: static AI-controlled object firing Anti-Tank guided missiles at enemy forces
  • Surveillance drone: an unmanned aerial asset that can fly above a zone and spot the enemy teams movements with ease.
  • Air Raid:  A powerful B2 bombing run attack that flies in from off the map to wreak havoc amongst enemy lines!
  • Supply Zone: to allow resupply of ammo without needing to respawn

These just represent what will be available during the first release. The system is flexible enough that many new “wild cards” could be created and will make the battlefields truly feel like theatres of modern war.
