(Newport Beach, CA – February 24, 2017) – inXile Entertainment announces The Mage’s Tale, a VR action RPG developed for Oculus Touch, and set for a 2017 launch. inXile Entertainment is the developer behind some of today’s most revered RPGs, such as game of the year Wasteland 2, and the soon to launch Torment: Tides of Numenera (Feb. 28th on PC and console). In addition, inXile is currently developing both The Bard’s Tale IV and Wasteland 3.
“When I was a kid our dungeons consisted of playing Dungeons and Dragons on graph paper. From there I graduated to playing classic computer games in black and white like Wizardry, which inspired me to create a full color dungeon crawl with Bard’s Tale. The window for the players kept getting bigger, the graphics more advanced, and now with TheMage’s Tale, we are inside the dungeon,” said Brian Fargo, dungeon crawler expert and CEO of inXile Entertainment.

Mississauga, Canada – February 23rd, 2017 – Indie development team NVYVE® Studios today announced that P.A.M.E.L.A., the first-person, open world, utopian, sci-fi, survival horror game, will launch on March 9th on Steam Early Access. In P.A.M.E.L.A.you must survive against all odds by wielding unconventional technology as you explore Eden, an unforgiving paradise that explores the unforeseen consequences of humanity’s craving for technological and biological advancement.
“Several years ago, we formed NVYVE® Studios with the goal of creating a game that took the survival genre, and built upon it with a hand-crafted sci-fi setting to create a wholly unique experience. The Steam Early Access launch is a culmination of those years, and will form a base for P.A.M.E.L.A., challenging players to explore and survive within the fallen utopian city of Eden”, said Adam Simonar, Studio Director of NVYVE® Studios. “We are looking forward to working with the community as we continue to evolveP.A.M.E.L.A., adding new features and content in the run-up to a full commercial launch”.
“P.A.M.E.L.A. represents a bold step for us. Having previously utilised Unity in our architectural practise, we’re excited to bring those skills into game design. I am very proud of our incredible team – It’s been a dream come true for everyone involved. A lot of sacrifices, sleepless nights, long days, sweat and tears went into making the game and we hope the gaming community enjoys it”, said Marvin Maalouf, President and CEO of NVYVE® Studios. “We see P.A.M.E.L.A. as the first in what will hopefully be a long line of quality titles to come out of the studio and want to show the world that a small team with a huge amount of passion can create beautiful, immersive and fun worlds for players to explore.”
P.A.M.E.L.A. begins as your character awakens from cryosleep in Eden, a fallen utopian city. Pamela, Eden’s lone AI overseer, provides information on how to survive within the city while bestowing amplified abilities upon the player. As you explore Eden, uncovering insights into the lives of individual citizens of Eden through discoverable data logs, you discover the tragic story behind the fall of Eden and learn about the way society used to function in this former utopia. Search the city for over 200 unique pieces of loot and resources, ranging from food to building materials and hi-tech weapons and upgrades, while using your hacking skills to unlock salvage containers or doors to access secret areas of the city.
As you learn about the city and your place within it, you will encounter and battle the Afflicted, the maligned citizens of Eden driven mad by a horrific biological outbreak. Governed by their excruciating pain and disfiguring disease, the Afflicted react in unpredictable ways, presenting a formidable, harrowing threat. As part of your arsenal, you have the holographic “AARM UI” system which projects the game interface directly into the game world, seamlessly heightening immersion and building tension during battles. Acquiring and upgrading the modular weaponry attachments for your AARM device allows you to further even the odds on the offensive. Defence is just as important, though, made possible by the game’s freeform base-building system, which enables you to build a personal safe haven amidst Eden’s hostile world. You can also use the Pandora IVG Multitool to discover even more items and manage your base.
You’ll eventually learn how to manage and upgrade Eden’s power systems to keep the lights on and use services such as elevators and vendor kiosks. But take care to avoid encounters with Eden’s security system. The deadly Seeker droids are still functional and will respond harshly to illegal activity, an additional threat. As every decision in Eden has consequences, you must tread carefully and think about the ramifications of your choices. What is the cost of enhancing your body with Bio-Augmentation? Sure, it might help in the short-term but the long-term implications may affect you in unforeseen ways.
This offers just a glimpse of what NVYVE, has planned for the future of P.A.M.E.L.A. and its full commercial release. NVYVE redefines ideas of what a small team can do and will be revealing more about its release calendar and how players can help shape the future of this exciting new open world survival game over the coming months.

LONDON – February 22, 2017 — Sneak around bloody crime scenes and dispose of incriminating evidence all while avoiding police in fast-paced stealth action game Serial Cleaner from indie publisher Curve Digital and developer iFun4All. Launching on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Steam (PC, Mac and Linux) this summer, Serial Cleaner is currently available as a prototype in Steam Early Access and will have hours of additional content at launch. For those interested in a sneak peek of the launch content, Serial Cleaner will be playable at PAX East in booth 22125 and at EGX Rezzed.
Set in the 1970s, Serial Cleaner has players clean up murder scenes by disposing of bodies, covering up bloodstains and hiding murder weapons and other incriminating evidence from the police. To succeed players must explore, experiment and make swift decisions in order to avoid detection by police. Get caught and players earn a black mark on their protagonist’s career.
Players must also be wary of their environment as Serial Cleaner uses real-world data to modify levels accordingly with the current time of day in a player’s whereabouts. Noise detection and “sneakability” will vary between night and day, and mean the difference between freedom and jail.
“Serial Cleaner was inspired by lose-fast/reload-fast games that demand players retry a level several times to learn how enemies react and figure out which zones of the map are the safest,” said Krzysztof Zięba, designer and writer at iFun4all. “If caught, the level generates the crime scene with the bodies moved, ensuring that players can’t rely on just muscle memory to get through a stage. The game is tough, but fair, so players need to plan their moves accordingly, or just get in there and improvise: both approaches work.”
For more information on Serial Cleaner, please visit the game’s website, or Curve Digital’s Facebook and Twitter pages.
February 22, 2017 – Walnut Creek, CA – Video game publisher Maximum Games, in partnership with developer Spiral House, has released a brand-new features trailer for its upcoming action adventure game, Troll and I. Today’s video further delves into the world of Troll and I, providing an extensive overview of key gameplay features including the in-game foraging and crafting systems, as well as the split-screen co-op feature. Maximum Games and Spiral House also confirmed today that Troll and I will be releasing on the Nintendo’s upcoming new system, the Nintendo Switch, later this Spring.
In Troll and I, players will be tasked with strategically utilizing Troll and Otto’s unique strengths to overcome the many enemies they will face in the Scandinavian backcountry – whether they be the human hunters pursuing Troll for their own greedy ends or mythical orcs known as ‘Ahky’ unleashed from the depths of the earth. Solo players can seamlessly switch between Otto and Troll in-game, using Troll’s massive size and strength to throw boulders at enemies or Otto’s speed and resourcefulness to stealthily take out a lone hunter without raising an alarm. Troll and I also supports split-screen gameplay for couch co-op, as two heads, and pairs of hands, are always better than one.
Throughout the game, players will encounter various natural resources when playing as Otto, and should make use of Otto’s keen senses and attunement to nature to track down wildlife, which can be hunted and used to heal him during battle. Otto will exploit the materials of the forest to fashion spears and other weapons that will prove crucial to the duo’s survival. Otto’s connection to his surroundings and the environment around him plays a key role in the player successfully navigating treacherous situations.
In addition, Maximum Games is proud to confirm that Troll and I will be releasing on Nintendo’s revolutionary new system, the Nintendo Switch, this Spring! The game will be fully playable at home or on the go using the Joy-Con™ controllers for both solo and split-screen co-op gameplay, allowing players to continue Troll and Otto’s adventure wherever they are. Additional details about the Nintendo Switch release for Troll and I will be available at a later date.
Troll and I is currently in development from Spiral House and will be published by Maximum Games. The game will be available on March 21, 2017 in North America and on March 24, 2017 in Europe for the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, and digitally on PC, with the Nintendo Switch release slated for Spring 2017.
