COLOGNE, Germany— August 22, 2017 — Today, Ubisoft® announced that The Crew® 2, the newest iteration in the revolutionary open-world driving franchise The Crew®, will launch on March 16, 2018. The game will be available on PlayStation®4 Pro computer entertainment system, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the family of Xbox One devices and Windows PC. From coast to coast, players will experience the thrill of a huge, varied and action-packed open world USA completely reshaped for motorsports. In The Crew 2, drivers will explore America and compete to be a champion of Motornation by collecting a wide variety of exotic cars, bikes, boats and planes and dominating the motorsports scene on the land, on the water and in the air. They will find challenges and inspiration among four different motorsports families: street racing, off-road, pro-racing and freestyle, and are a given a deep set of options among a wide selection of vehicle types.

For the first time ever, The Crew 2 offers the Fast Fav feature, giving players the ability to seamlessly switch between their favorite ground, water and air vehicles with the push of a button. Players can race full throttle off the Golden Gate Bridge and transform instantly into a speedboat as they hit the Bay, catch a huge wave and seamlessly transition into a stunt plane and fly away into the sunset. Players enjoy total freedom to ride any way they want in the familiar landscapes of The Crew 2’s vast open world.

For those who prefer the thrill of the race, players will also put their racing skills to the test in the widest range of competitive disciplines. In addition to previously announced street racing, powerboat racing, aerobatics, jetsprint and rally raid, three more disciplines are being introduced this week at Gamescom. Drift will have street racing fans burn rubber and take every curve in style to score points with every glorious slide, while the Alpha Grand Prix single-seater is tailored for the pro-racers in search of the perfect line. Carved in the heart of nature, a Motocross muddy track is waiting for off-road specialists to master the dirt and own every bump.

The Crew 2 allows players, solo or with friends, to fully express their creativity and skills, sharing unique moments of fun and extreme sensations. MGM Grand Unveils Free-Roam Multiplayer VR Experience

LAS VEGAS (August 22, 2017) – MGM Grand Hotel & Casino and Zero Latency, the irrefutable world-leader in location-based free-roam Virtual Reality (VR) entertainment, will introduce Las Vegas’ first multi-player free-roam VR experience inside LEVEL UP gaming lounge on September 8.

The arena, “Virtual Reality Powered by Zero Latency,” will immerse up to eight players in a completely interactive digital universe, allowing them to physically navigate considerable distances through the 2,000-square-foot arena while collaborating with other players in heart-racing challenges.

Zero Latency CEO Tim Ruse noted, “When it comes to playing games, and exploring new worlds in virtual reality, more people means more fun. Technology can often be isolating but we are determined to continue to design games and experiences that bring people together to have mind-blowing VR adventures and forge real memories that can last a lifetime. We’re excited to bring this experience to Las Vegas, our first West Coast location.”

Teams can choose from three different games for a 30-minute experience, depending on what kind of adventure they seek.

  • Zombie Survival – The team is trapped in a zombie apocalypse, with the undead lurking around every corner ready to attack. Armed with a comprehensive arsenal of weapons, survivors must band together to take down wave after wave of zombies and rebuild safety barriers before extraction by the rescue team.
  • Singularity – Something has gone wrong in a secretive military research space station. While investigating the mystery, teams must battle rogue robots and killer drones through narrow corridors and the zero-gravity environment of space.
  • Engineerium – This puzzle adventure is set in a fantastical world with flying whales, giant parrots and colorful creatures. Players of all ages are challenged to solve physics-based problems as a team to advance along floating platforms high above the exotic planet below.

Featuring an open space with no obstacles, the arena enables teams to freely explore the virtual environment together. Wireless goggles and wearable computers make the adventure even more realistic, letting players lose themselves in the game without being tethered. While battling through the simulation, teammates will see each other as full-motion avatars and stay in constant communication to strategize, call for backup and ultimately compete for the highest score.

Integrated into LEVEL UP, MGM Grand’s tech-savvy gaming lounge, this exhilarating VR technology complements its collection of new-to-market skill-based games and traditional favorites perfect for enhancing the social environment and sparking friendly competition.

They carry a perfectly weighted, custom-made simulated weapon for game sessions that require firepower.

LEGO Worlds Nintendo Switch Trailer

August 22, 2017 – Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games and The LEGO Group released a teaser trailer in anticipation of the LEGO Worlds Nintendo Switch launch on September 5. Pre-orders are currently available for both the physical and digital versions.

The physical version, priced at $39.99, will include two bonus packs of premium DLC, Classic Space, released in July, and the upcoming Monsters pack, which will be available in October. The digital version, priced at $29.99, includes the base game with the DLC available separately on the eShop. Both premium DLC packs will be available on all other platforms as well at $3.99 each.

LEGO Worlds is a galaxy of imaginative worlds made of digital LEGO bricks where players can explore, discover and create together. The game is currently available for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and STEAM.

POLICE SIMULATOR 18 lets the player slip into the role of a real US police officer and discover the interesting challenges and varied tasks that lie waiting for him while patrolling the streets of the sprawling US city of Loston Bay. The player can choose to go on patrol through three different city districts either alone in the game’s single player mode or together with a friend in the cooperative two-person multiplayer mode. The extremely expansive –  and thanks to the use of the Unreal® Engine 4 very lifelike – metropolis can be explored by the player freely either on foot or in one of three distinct patrol cars.

In RUGBY 18’s Career mode, users can guide their favourite team to victory by recruiting the best players using money earnt from wins, adjust formation and strategy between matches and take the team to the top of the Elite Division.

My Squad mode lets users build their dream team by selecting the best official players from all the major leagues. To recruit players, users use “Squad Points” which are received at the end of each match in all game modes, both local and online. An individual player is also rewarded with “Squad Points” when meeting objectives during a match: a well-orchestrated attack resulting in a spectacular try, a towering defence, efficient tackling, a dummy followed by a precise pass after contact and more. In RUGBY 18 there are many different ways to develop the ultimate team.

RUGBY 18 includes all of the famous TOP 14 and Premiership Rugby teams and players, as well as national teams including France, Italy, Wales and Scotland. Over 2,000 rugby players from the 2017-2018 season are available in the different game modes.
