War Room Announcement Trailer

February 6th, Łódź, Poland. Send units to villages occupied by enemy forces. Attack terrorist bases and hideouts. Manage your troops and equipment using a strategic map and follow battles thanks to a view from a military drone. Complete story missions, but also ensure the safety of your bases and popularity of your actions in each sector through side objectives. However, be careful not to get distracted. Achieve your military goals with special consideration for the humanitarian side of the conflict.

To keep up with all the news and updates from the main base, add the game to your wishlist on Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1175880/War_Room/).

War Room is a real-time strategy game in which you manage military units spread across the territory of the Province. Resources at your disposal are limited, and you have to skillfully manage them in order to accomplish each mission. Deploy units to locations where you suspect enemy presence, but think carefully when you decide on their size – assign your forces suitable to the task at hand or you might end up with too few troops ready to fight when you really need them. Take over territory, deploy drones and observe the situation in specific locations in real time. And finally, take control of each of the nine sectors.

Your actions will be evaluated, and good results will be rewarded with additional troops and vehicles, giving you the ability to perform larger and more complex operations.

WAR ROOM MAIN FEATURES:

  • A huge (1000 sq. km) 3D map based on a real map of Afghanistan. Operate within nine sectors, with one command center each. Attack enemy bases and hideouts, push enemies out of civilian settlements, deny them control of any territory.
  • Many hours of exciting gameplay in a single campaign. Begin in one of the sectors where the main base (MOB) is located. Start as a new commander and take over one of the most challenging combat zones of this War. Search and destroy enemies in the first sector and then continue further, gaining ground until the entire province is under your control.
  • Non-linear events. Your patrols and humanitarian missions will encounter multiple scenarios that will depend on the sector security level and population stance toward your troops. Each action you take will have further consequences. There is no single path to success. Determine which areas you wish to focus on and how to guide your forces to dominance over the enemy.
  • Two play perspectives: satellite (management) and drone (tactical). The game is divided into two layers – tactical and strategic. Use the satellite view to manage your forces and equipment. Deploy drones and observe what is happening in real time.
  • Territory control is the main goal of the game. Conduct military operations from the ground and air, eliminate terrorists, clear IEDs from roads, and support your troops with powerful air assets. Experience missions based on real-life operations and events. Take care of the base’s security and increase the popularity of your actions in the sector through the side missions.
  • Patrolling and ‘Hearts & Minds.’ Ensure safety in the sectors you control and win the trust of the local population. Send your forces on regular patrols to project force, search and destroy enemies, protect the construction of civilian infrastructure, provide protection for local elections, or deliver humanitarian supplies to locals.
  • Wide range of units and military vehicles. Execute your actions with a wide range of resources at your disposal. MRAPs of various types and sizes, specialized mine disposal vehicles, main battle tanks, and a wide selection of air units. All possible choices reflect the available arsenal for the Afghan conflict.

Inspired by true events. The provinces and characters in the game are fictional, but most missions and operations in the game are based on real events.

Kickstarter Campaign for Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous Underway

Moscow, Russia, February 4, 2020 — Owlcat Games announces that the highly anticipated Kickstarter campaign for its classic isometric CRPG, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous, has launched today. In celebration, the studio is happy to share an exciting video showcasing for the first time an animated cutscene and pre-alpha gameplay footage. Based on Paizo’s famous tabletop RPG and the adventure path of the same name, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is estimated to arrive June 2021 for PC Windows via Steam and GOG. Details on the game’s three new Mythic Paths, new classes, and a new race have also been revealed.

Watch the Kickstarter video here:

Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is an epic adventure in which players rise to power as one of six Mythic character types: the benevolent Angel, the ravaging Demon, the powerful Lich, the cunning Trickster, the lawful Aeon, and the rebellious Azata. Every choice made during the adventure will allow players to align themselves with a specific Mythic Path. Becoming one of these unique beings greatly impacts the main narrative, grants distinct abilities and affects a character’s appearance.

The new Mythic Paths revealed today include the Aeon, a cosmic judge of balance that can travel to the past; the Demon, an impulsive creature on the verge of losing its self-control; and the Azata, a champion of the innocent and unstoppable force of good. Players may ignore these celestial powers and become a Legend—a mortal who doesn’t need help from any deity to inspire people and destroy the demon lords.

“Our Kickstarter campaign will allow our team to flesh out each Mythic Path with exclusive story branches and abilities that influence the game world,” says Alexander Mishulin, Creative Director of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous. “It will also allow us to produce more content like new classes, races, and companions.”

In addition to the classes introduced in Kingmaker, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous will allow players to choose from the following five new classes: the Arcanist, Bloodrager, Shaman, Oracle, and Witch. They may also play as a new race of half-undead mortals called dhampirs. The number of archetypes per class will increase to five.

Additional details regarding Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous‘ Mythic Paths, new features, and crowdfunding goals can be found at the game’s Kickstarter page. The campaign will run until March 11.

Minions: The Rise of Gru Official Trailer

2/4/2020 – This summer, from the biggest animated franchise in history and global cultural phenomenon, comes the untold story of one 12-year-old’s dream to become the world’s greatest supervillain, in Minions: The Rise of Gru.

In the heart of the 1970s, amid a flurry of feathered hair and flared jeans, Gru (Oscar® nominee Steve Carell) is growing up in the suburbs. A fanboy of a supervillain supergroup known as the Vicious 6, Gru hatches a plan to become evil enough to join them. Luckily, he gets some mayhem-making backup from his loyal followers, the Minions. Together, Kevin, Stuart, Bob, and Otto—a new Minion sporting braces and a desperate need to please—deploy their skills as they and Gru build their first lair, experiment with their first weapons and pull off their first missions.

When the Vicious 6 oust their leader, legendary fighter Wild Knuckles (Oscar® winner Alan Arkin), Gru interviews to become their newest member. It doesn’t go well (to say the least), and only gets worse after Gru outsmarts them and suddenly finds himself the mortal enemy of the apex of evil. On the run, Gru will turn to an unlikely source for guidance, Wild Knuckles himself, and discover that even bad guys need a little help from their friends.

Teeming with Illumination’s signature subversive humor, pop-culture sophistication, full-hearted emotion, bold music sensibility, and over-the-top action, Minions: The Rise of Gru features a thrilling new cast of stars, including, as members of the Vicious 6, Taraji P. Henson as cool and confident leader Belle Bottom, Jean-Claude Van Damme as Jean Clawed, Lucy Lawless as Nunchuck, Dolph Lundgren as Svengeance and Danny Trejo as Stronghold. The film also features Russell Brand as Dr. Nefario, an aspiring mad scientist, Michelle Yeoh as Master Chow, an acupuncturist with mad Kung Fu skills, and Oscar® winner Julie Andrews as Gru’s maddeningly self-absorbed mom.

Steered by the franchise’s original creators, Minions: The Rise of Gru is produced by visionary Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and his longtime collaborators Janet Healy and Chris Renaud. The film is directed by returning franchise filmmaker Kyle Balda (Despicable Me 3, Minions), co-directed by Brad Ableson (The Simpsons) and Jonathan del Val (The Secret Life of Pets films), and features the iconic voice of Pierre Coffin as the Minions and a killer ʼ70s soundtrack courtesy of legendary Grammy-winning music producer Jack Antonoff.
