Fans of building, besieging and ‘wuselfaktor’ rejoice! Firefly Studios’ latest entry in their legendary ‘castle sim’ series, Stronghold: Warlords is now available on Steam, GOG, Humble and other retailers. Firefly celebrates today’s long awaited release with a final launch trailer for the game featuring fresh gameplay, the full campaign map and a story preview narrated by Rae Lim:
Including a 31 mission campaign with conflicts and sieges ranging from 300 BC China to 16th century Japan, Stronghold: Warlords both covers a wide historical period and (more importantly) introduces gunpowder to the series for the first time! Introducing legendary figures like Genghis Khan and lesser known rulers such as Thuc Phan, Warlords is designed to build on everything players know and love about Stronghold in an all new setting.
Warlords has something for all Stronghold fans, whether they enjoy a single player campaign, unlimited castle building freedom in Free Build mode, offline skirmish or online multiplayer with friends and AI. The game comes complete with everything expected of a mainline entry in the series, in addition to brand new gunpowder fuelled units, siege weapons and favourites like Siege Towers and Horse Archers
With Stronghold: Warlords release we also have the introduction of the titular Warlords system, a new gameplay mechanic allowing players to conquer, upgrade and command AI ‘warlords’ across the battlefield. A flagging economy can be saved with an Ox or Pig Warlord, who can boost a players’ industry and food reserves with their unique ‘Edict’ commands and passive perk abilities. Players looking to rain down fire and fury on their opponents can instead opt for a Dragon or Tiger Warlord, able to supply the player with special units and launch attacks in a pincer movement against their enemies! Whether players decide to forge these alliances through diplomatic buildings like the Consulate or simply by marching in an army and forcing warlords to bend the knee, these bonds can make or break their overall strategy.
Stronghold: Warlords is now available on Steam, with a Special Edition that includes Stronghold HD, ‘The Art of Stronghold: Warlords’ digital art book, a new soundtrack created by series composer Robert L. Euvino and a special ‘Making Of’ feature-length documentary: https://store.steampowered.com/app/907650/Stronghold_Warlords/
March is here in World of Warships: Legends, bringing along a new campaign to get a premium Russian cruiser, the full release of British heavy cruisers, two Legendary Bureau projects, and some returning favorites. Let’s take a look at this action-packed update.
The featured campaign for the March update is “Taken By Storm,” bringing the Tier VII Russian cruiser Ochakov as the crown jewel for your efforts. Named for the Russian victory over the Ochakov fortress in times long ago, this ship is based on a project to build a compact light cruiser capable of fulfilling many roles. Though her total firepower is not her main attraction, Ochakov’s 6-inch (152 mm) guns have excellent ballistics, shell performance, and reload speed. Plus, she has access to several additional tools like Radar, Sonar, and long-range torpedos. Taken By Storm will be available for five weeks, with 100 milestones to reach by completing missions in battle—dedicated captains can even get some Steel Badges after reaching milestone 100. Plus, you can now use Legendary tier ships to complete some of the missions and progress through the campaign. Make sure to get Admiralty Backing and earn this multirole ship.
Sailing out of early access, the British heavy cruiser line is fully available in this update. These classic British cruisers have an interesting kit, including consistent guns that can batter enemy ships, single-launch torpedoes, a powerful heal, and sonar. The Albemarle awaits at Tier VII, combining all of these tools with a Radar on top. Hampered only by gun range and maneuverability, these new ships are set to find their home within the waters of World of Warships: Legends.
Two new Legendary-tier ship projects are starting in the Bureau this update, one for the long-serving American destroyer Gearing—bringing it’s adaptable combination of six 5-inch (127 mm) guns and extremely long range torpedoes to Legendary tier battles. The British battleship Conqueror is sailing in with a monstrous twelve-gun salvo with excellent high-explosive or short-fused armor piercing shells. Players can start researching these ships immediately through the Research Bureau alongside the other Legendary tier ships.
St. Patrick’s day is right around the corner, so something special has been prepared for the occasion! Players can get their hands on the elusive fan-favorite cruiser Belfast, plus plenty of St. Pat’s goodies from the Pot of Gold, a container that guarantees doubloons and camo but can also bring one special luck in the form of a very green permanent camouflage for Belfast!
Ranked Battles make a return for two weekends this update, this time we’ve changed the rules a fair amount. Instead of running for several weeks, this set of Ranked Battles will be two intense sprints through seven ranks in 5 versus 5 battles. The grand prize for Ranked Battles is a pile of 700 Steel Badges per season! For captains striving to earn Steel Badges, Ranked Battles are going to be one of the best ways to obtain them.
A few smaller additions are joining the roster of World of Warships: Legends, including the new American destroyer commander Albert Gleaves. Gleaves specializes in improving the torpedo armament of the American destroyers, providing a new edge to some of the higher tier ships for the USN fleet.
Keep your eyes on the event horizon, there may yet be a special space event coming to shake things up for April Fool’s Day! Set sail into the March Update, and turn the tide.
Insta360 today launched GO 2, a stabilized action camera that weighs in at just 27 grams — that’s less than an ounce.
Insta360 GO 2’s ultra-light body enables high-res, hands-free recording and lets creators effortlessly capture their perspectives — with none of the bulky, inconvenient accessories of a traditional action cam. Waterproofing and a replaceable protective lens ensure that it’s ready for every type of action.
GO 2’s unrivaled combination of size, stabilization and performance allow it to do what no other action camera can: Capture the action without ever getting in the way of it. It’s a cinematic sidekick that creators and athletes won’t even know is there.
Insta360 GO 2, complete with a multi-purpose Charge Case and a selection of mounting accessories, is available to order today via Insta360.com.
Wear it, clip it, mount it.
Insta360 GO 2 is the Spider-Man of cameras — it sticks to anything. Thanks to its tiny form factor and a host of in-the-box accessories, GO 2 can go where other action cams can’t, whether that be on you, your dog or your car.
Its powerful built-in magnet pairs with the Magnet Pendant so you can pop GO 2 right on your shirt. The Easy Clip attaches GO 2 to your hat or headband so you can get an effortless POV shot. Once GO 2 is in position, shooting a video is as easy as pressing the front of the camera once.
A mighty sensor.
Despite its size, GO 2 doesn’t skimp on power. GO 2 packs in the same high-performance hardware as other flagship action cams, while weighing 6x lighter.
A 1/2.3” image sensor, the standard for flagship action cams, enables GO 2 to capture crisp, clear and detailed ultra-wide angle shots. The resulting 1440p videos are guaranteed to stand out on your social feed.
Always steady.
No matter where you mount GO 2, Insta360’s signature FlowState stabilization and horizon leveling algorithms eliminate every shake, bump and roll.
With your hands freed up and FlowState stabilization keeping your shot steady, you can run, jump or ride with no holds barred. With FlowState, you can go out with nothing but a thumb-size camera, and come back with footage that looks like it was shot with a high-end gimbal.
Charge on the go.
GO 2’s Charge Case is a sidekick for your sidekick. Just snap GO 2 into the case and you’ll be charged up in half an hour. With the case, GO 2 can keep going for up to 150 minutes before needing a recharge at home. That’s double the length of most action cams, at a fraction of the size.
Far more than a charger, GO 2’s case doubles as a remote, a tripod and a handheld grip for shooting selfies. It even has a ¼” mounting point ready to attach to a selfie stick.
Using the Charge Case’s onboard Bluetooth connection, you can control GO 2 from up to 10 meters (33ft) away. Just mount the camera wherever you like and then use the case to capture from a distance.
Ready for adventure.
Surfing, going for a dip or sunbathing seaside? Dunk GO 2 down to 4 meters (13ft) underwater without a worry. GO 2 is IPX8 waterproof straight out of the box.
Meanwhile, the scratch-proof, hardened-glass Lens Guard keeps GO 2’s lens protected from wipeouts. Pop it off and screw on a replacement at any time. Or swap it out for an ND filter to get balanced colors and contrast even on the brightest days.
An app that does it all.
GO 2’s companion app lets you preview your shot in real time over WiFi and adjust settings on the fly. Once you’re done shooting, the app offers a full-featured editor to perfect your clips.
If you’re in a rush, you don’t even need to download your footage to your phone before starting your edit—just connect and edit directly over WiFi. No cables needed.
Let AI edit for you.
Not up for a manual edit? Let AI edit for you with FlashCut 2.0. FlashCut 2.0 auto-edits your clips into a story, highlighting the best moments and editing them together on beat to music.
Choose from preset editing templates for themes like sports, travel or pets, or just select your favorite shots and let FlashCut take care of the rest. Either way, you get a slick edit that’s ready to share instantly.
Skinny camera. Wide angle.
GO 2’s lens might look small, but its ultra-wide field of view means you never have to worry about getting all of your surroundings in the shot.
Choose from four fields of view to get the perfect framing. Shooting an expansive landscape? Try the 120-degree “Ultra Wide” field of view. Hitting the trails on your bike? Try the 110-degree “ActionView” field of view, perfect for first-person perspectives.
Speed it up or slow it down.
Condense the action with a dynamic hyperlapse or highlight key moments in super slow-mo. It’s all as easy as a tap with GO 2. Shoot hyperlapses at up to 6x speed or slow things down to 4x slow-mo when you shoot at 120fps.
Setting up a stationary timelapse shot can be done in seconds too. Pop GO 2 into the Charge Case, fold out the tripod legs and record from any angle. Shooting at night? Use Nightlapse mode to get the interval and exposure time just right.
Available now.
Insta360 GO 2 is available today via Insta360.com worldwide. GO 2 retails for $299.99 / £294.99.
GO 2 comes standard with an included Charge Case, Magnet Pendant, Easy Clip, Pivot Stand and Lens Guard. You can also customize your GO 2 by designing a one-of-a-kind “skin” exclusively at Insta360.com.

“Being trusted with bringing an iconic Sony Pictures franchise to life is extra rewarding and exciting when you’re a huge fan of Zombieland”, says Bobby Thandi, Founder and CEO of XR Games. “The Zombieland world is a no-nonsense kind of place, and to this end we’ve made one of the purest shooting games for VR. We hand crafted the content, upping replayability, and incorporated mechanics from racing games such as time splits so you know exactly how well you’re doing. It’s about practising ’til you’re perfect. Your speed and accuracy with each shot is imperative to score the fastest time (pro tip: remember the Navy SEALs quote – slow is smooth and smooth is fast). And your performance is being assessed via the witty banter of Tallahassee, Columbus, Wichita, and Little Rock. They’re not gentle with their opinions!”

Frontier Developments plc (AIM: FDEV) today announced that the PC Alpha for the highly anticipated Elite Dangerous: Odyssey game expansion will start on 29 March. In anticipation of the exciting new gameplay features Commanders will first experience during the Alpha phase, Frontier released a video showing an Odyssey mission playthrough, which features gameplay captured from a raid mission.
The video shows a team of three Commanders plunge into a daring on-foot raid of a military outpost. Their objective: to disable the power center and ultimately render the opposing faction powerless.
All three Commanders in the incursion team are specially equipped for their assigned role, selected from the wide range of space suits, weapons and equipment available in Elite Dangerous: Odyssey. Their tactical gear grants them an edge in their assigned tasks, whether it is to infiltrate the base avoiding detection, lay down covering fire if the alarm is raised, hacking, or quickly extract their teammates from a tight spot if enemy forces overwhelm them.
The Elite Dangerous galaxy’s rich setting and open-ended design reaches a new level of depth thanks to Odyssey’s feet-on-the-ground gameplay. Introducing the detailed scale that is needed for on-foot gameplay while maintaining the vast distances measured in light years and the myriad missions available to players, Odyssey will greatly augment the already rich world of Elite Dangerous, offering a more personal experience for all Commanders to enjoy in their own way, in addition to the vast galaxy they can already explore.
Elite Dangerous: Odyssey releases on PC in late spring 2021 with an Alpha scheduled to begin on 29 March. Releases on the PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and the Xbox One all-in-one games and entertainment system are planned for Autumn 2021. Prospective PC Commanders can pre-order now and secure their access to the upcoming Alpha via Steam, the Epic Games Store and the Frontier Store.
Gaijin Entertainment announces that the military online shooter Enlisted has got a new massive “Invasion of Normandy” campaign. This WW2-themed game that allows players to control infantry squads, ground vehicles and combat aircraft has also expanded to the PlayStation 5. There are two new founder packs in addition to the already available Battle of Moscow packs. Players are now able to purchase the US 83rd Division squad with M2 Hyde submachine guns and the German 77th Division squad with upgraded MP 28 submachine guns with extended magazines. Purchase of any pack will grant access to the Enlisted Closed Beta Test and both campaigns at once.
The PlayStation 5 version of Enlisted works at 4K@60FPS and is practically identical to PC and Xbox Series X|S variants.
