Dying Light 2 Stay Human Trailer Talks Parkour and Combat

Techland, via gamescom Studio in partnership with IGN, streamed a special third episode of Dying 2 Know (D2K) – gamescom Edition, part of an original web series that dives deep into the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Hosted by Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektała, this episode revealed a variety of details about parkour and combat and showcased a gameplay trailer. The episode can be viewed in its entirety here.

The third episode shed light on traversing the city, which, thanks to the complex parkour mechanics and realistic motion capture animations, is satisfying and gives a great feeling of dynamism. Combat is also an essential part of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, and players were provided insight into weapons and their inspirations, as well as the creative combat system which allows players to integrate parkour moves with the fighting, making it more fun, complex, and immersive.

Moreover, Techland presented the grand jury that will be choosing the best cosplays of Dying Light 2 characters in the UGC competition: Irina Meier, Lightning Cosplay, Narga & Aoki and Enji Night. Contest details, including conditions and other categories, can be found here.

First gameplay trailer reveals European map

Farming Simulator 22 invites farmers to a new Mediterranean environment in Europe. Ideally suited for the new crops; grapes, olives, and sorghum, the French map Haut-Beyleron is perfect for creating an idyllic vineyard landscape. GIANTS Software reveals the last of three maps, included in the game at launch, by showing it off in the brand-new trailer at Gamescom. After the previous cinematic trailer, this also marks the first trailer consisting of actual gameplay footage, revealing many new vehicles and tools.

Growing further: Season Pass announced

First season pass announced: While Farming Simulator 22 offers more content than ever before, including over 400 machines and vehicles, three maps, and brand-new gameplay features like seasonal cycles and production chains, the game will extend even more over time: GIANTS Software starts the evolution of Farming Simulator 22 with the Year 1 Season Pass – including three packs and one larger expansion to be released as DLC within twelve months after release. On top of that, the game will also receive free content updates.

The Outlast Trials Debut Gameplay Trailer

Red Barrels, the independent game development studio based in Montreal, today presented the first gameplay reveal of The Outlast Trials during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2021. A whole new take on the Outlast survival horror experience, The Outlast Trials is a terrifying game set in the same universe as the previous titles for one to four players, set for release during 2022.

Set in the height of the Cold War era, players take on the role of test subjects abducted by the shadowy Murkoff Corporation. Imprisoned in a secret Murkoff facility, players will be thrust into a series of physical and mental ordeals, tormented by iconic characters, and challenged alone or in teams to survive with their sanity intact.

“After years of development, we’re excited to collaborate with Geoff Keighley and the Opening Night Live team to debut the first gameplay teaser trailer for The Outlast Trials,” said David Chateauneuf, Red Barrels co-founder and designer. “This is a huge moment for us and we’re extremely proud to be in a position to give our fans and community just a dark taste of what’s to come in The Outlast Trials during 2022.”

Comanche Launch Trailer

Pilots, Comanche gets a full release! Some time has passed since the last Early Access Update, as we were preparing a lot of new content. Seven brand new Conflicts missions await to be conquered and mastered. For the first time, you can pilot different Comanche variants in some of them. Also, beware of two new enemies: Deadly sniper railguns will take you down instantly without any hesitation. ICBM carriers need to be disabled before they launch dangerous payloads causing fatal damage.

Many missions got a new graphical treatment, be it old or new ones. Visual effects were polished to look even better, and lightning setups in missions were adjusted for a better atmosphere. We focused also on the experience outside of the game. The great news is that Comanche is now playable in English, French, German, Spanish, Polish, Czech, Russian, and Chinese. The community can now beat all achievements (on Steam, MSFT, GOG) or collect every trading card (Steam only).

Comanche is in its full strength now. We are very thankful for your feedback during the Early Access period, it is highly appreciated and allowed us to make the game better with every update. There is only one thing that remains to be said:

2K and Marvel Entertainment announced today Marvel’s Midnight Suns, a new tactical RPG set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe that brings players face-to-face against supernatural forces as they team up with and live among the Midnight Suns, Earth’s last line of defense against the underworld. Chernobylite Console Edition Postponed Until Late September

Video game publisher All in! Games and development studio, The Farm 51, announced that the console release of Chernobylite, the sci-fi survival horror RPG for PlayStation 4 (physical and digital) and Xbox One is delayed to September 28, 2021. In the meantime, fans of Chernobylite can indulge in the latest trailer, featuring press accolades the game has garnered thus far for its PC version.

“We at All in! Games pride ourselves in setting high standards for all our releases and are pleased with the games that we have published this year. Incidentally, due to some unforeseen issues with the console build, we decided to slightly delay the launch of Chernobylite until it gets resolved,” said Piotr Żygadło, CEO at All in! Games. “We want to make sure we always deliver projects that are in excellent shape and pushing Chernobylite’s console release date back a few weeks will allow us to accomplish that.
