Train Life: A Railway Simulator is on the right track! Two months after launching on early access for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), the game continues to be received very well by the gaming community (83% positive reviews) and is going full steam ahead with a major update. As a reminder, Train Life is the first simulator to let players experience the life of a train driver while also managing their own railway company.

Two new trains have been added to the game: the Intercity Express (or ICE) trains. These high-speed trains, operated by the German rail company Deutsche Bahn, can be used to travel between several major German cities in Train Life. With the new update, players can drive the ICE 3 and ICE 4 models, and experience the highly realistic reproduction of the driver’s cab.

But what fun would new trains be without lines and stations to stop at? You can now travel to London, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and many other faithfully recreated stations to transport passengers or deliver goods.

New scenarios have also been added to the Mission mode, in which players must fulfill objectives while meeting certain conditions. Expert knowledge of the vehicle is needed to win these challenges.

Finally, there has also been a number of fixes added to improve the game’s quality, stability and realism.

Games today announced MultiVersus, an all-new free-to-play, platform fighter videogame that introduces a team-based 2 vs. 2 format combined with an ever-expanding cast of iconic characters and legendary universes. ELEX II Unveils Its Five Factions in New Trailer

Five major factions are holding the power in Magalan. The Berserkers are skilled magicians, who use the power of Elex to perform all different kinds of spells. They have managed to transform the desert of Tavar into a green and lush utopia and have established an outpost in the former stronghold of the Outlaws. This faction is scattered throughout Magalan – some outlaws have joined the Berserkers when they took over Tavar, some moved to the crater landscape of Ateris, and have continued their life of crime.

The Albs have learned from their defeat in ELEX and have returned as a playable faction. Jax can once again choose to become an Alb Commander. They have reduced their usage of Elex drastically, as they have seen how effective an Alb with actual emotions can be when Jax brought down the Hybrid. They are still not the most joyful lot, but their combat prowess makes them an interesting choice. Faction number four is the Clerics, who are famous for their love of engineering and crafting powerful combat robots powered by Elex. The Clerics paid a high price in the war against the Albs. Not only did they lose their home in Ignadon but many of their brothers and sisters fell on the battlefield as well.

The Morkons are a brand new faction in ELEX II. When the meteor hit Magalan, some survivors fled to an underground tunnel system and lived a life of darkness and deprivation. But recently, they’ve started to leave their isolation and want to spread their religion all over Magalan and wipe out anyone standing against them.

These are the playable factions in ELEX II, each offering their own unique weapons and skills. It’s up to the players to decide where their allegiance lies!

Combat Mission Cold War Launch Trailer Released

For the first time, Combat Mission Cold War is available on Steam and Matrix Games. This is the first Combat Mission release to feature the Slitherine PBEM multiplayer system.

Combat Mission Cold War is set in the tipping-point years of a conflict that gripped the world for 45 years. Between 1979-1982, both the NATO and Soviet Warsaw Pact militaries began the shift away from industrialized warfare of the early 20th century and towards the modern digital battlefield of today. Combat Mission Cold War simulates several “what if” conflict scenarios between US and Soviet forces centered on the strategic Fulda Gap and environs in West Germany. The game also simulates the early days of the US National Training Center (NTC) as US forces began to rapidly transform away from Vietnam era doctrine and towards the revolutionary AirLand Battle concepts that would define warfare in the modern era.

Combat Mission Cold War is intended to be a sandbox for experimentation, for example how would a situation unfold when equipped with M-60A3s or M1s in 1982 facing off against T-80s? How about the same situation with M-60A1s or M-60A2s in 1979 against T-64s or T-62s? The game allows a player to do just that!

The Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector – Blood Angels Elite DLC gives players access to Assault Terminators and Sanguinary Guard. Assault Terminators feature a game-changing Deep Strike ability, while The Sanguinary Guard can quickly traverse the battlefield using their Jump Pack and can be equipped with a variety of ranged and melee weapon options.

The Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector – Tyranid Elites DLC adds the Broodlord and Hive Guard. The Broodlord are superior melee warriors with a natural ability for disrupting the minds of nearby prey, whereas the Hive Guard offers deadly ranged attacks, wrapped in a heavy armour of lumbering carapace.
