When the Sixth Hammer studio cow, kindly granted to us by the Bulgarian government, got her hoofs on Moo Lander for the first time, she was disappointed to find out the hero isn’t a space bovine hunter called Sa-Moos. Instead, that hero is you, a lone adventurer desperately fighting the boss taurus menace in a bid to save your home. Moo Lander is now available on PlayStation®, Xbox, and PC, with a Nintendo Switch version stampeding your way later this fall.
In Moo Lander, you play as civilization’s only hope, an explorer dispatched to ancient worlds, tasked with securing a continuous supply of the galaxy’s most potent energy source: milk. The lacteal mysteries of how this bovine marvel powers entire planets are not yours to understand. You have matters more important than pondering the galaxy’s workings on your hands anyway, namely, a herd of Mighty Cows determined to stop you at all costs.
The journey takes you to bucolic pastures, sun-dappled forests, sinister swamps, and more, all hand-painted and stunningly beautiful – and each ruled by a Mighty Cow. The Sixth Hammer’s custom Cow AI powers Moo Lander’s Mighty Cows, making every encounter uniquely dangerous and fraught with tension.
Granny Toxic blasts the air with poisonous fumes to end you, while the undead Necowmancer Lady Bones is summoned by ancient spirits to guard over the precious substance. Supreme Spider Cow – it’s a thing – uses her sticky webs and spit to control the battlefield. But none of them match the ferocity of the Cowger, always one step ahead of every other bovine creature. The reverend Ancient Mighty Cows cannot be fought with normal methods, though. You’ll have to use your wits and figure out non-lethal ways to tame these beasts.
If you need a break from the main campaign, rustle up some friends and dive into Moo Lander’s moo-ltiplayer modes in couch co-op or remotely via Steam Remote Play. Take on the powerful Cow AI together or throw all the chips down in fierce PvP combat. Survive the Waves mode has you taking on cow-pious enemies on the battlefield. You can even play football with a cow!
On Veterans Day 2021, World of Tanks held its first drive with K9s For Warriors, blowing through expectations with an incredible $25,000+ donation. This Memorial Day, World of Tanks is again teaming up with K9s For Warriors, the world’s largest provider of Service Dogs for veterans, to help them continue their work to combat suicide rates among veterans of the U.S. Armed Services.
Beginning today, players of World of Tanks can support the amazing work they do by acquiring a “K9 Honor Pack”, via their direct contribution to K9s For Warriors.
Founded in 2011, K9s For Warriors has rescued more than 1,500 dogs across the country and paired more than 725 veterans with trained Service Dogs to mitigate symptoms of post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injuries and military sexual trauma. The organization rescues, trains and pairs the Service Dogs with veterans, free of charge.
During their Veterans Day drive in 2021, the U.S. World of Tanks player community raised enough funds to sponsor and name a dog kennel within K9s For Warriors’ newly opened Davis Family Mega Kennel training facility in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Hundreds of Service Dogs-in-training will come through this kenneland eventually help save the lives of veterans in need.
“On Veteran’s Day 2021 we were blown away by the response of our players and proud that their efforts made such a large contribution to K9s For Warriors,” said Maxime Mashkov, US Publishing Director, World of Tanks. “K9s For Warriors is a force for good and we continue to be passionate about supporting their important work by offering the ‘K9 Honor Pack’.”
“We are incredibly grateful to partner with the World of Tanks community to support our veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedoms,” said K9s For Warriors CEO Rory Diamond. “K9s For Warriors has the privilege every day to see the impact a Service Dog has on a veteran. With a battle buddy by their side, the veteran returns to a life of a dignity and independence. The 2021 donation from World of Tanks allowed us to build a kennel run for our rescue dogs at the Davis Family Mega Kennel. We are thrilled World of Tanks is raising money for K9s For Warriors for a second time, allowing us to continue changing veterans lives for the better and give new purpose to rescue dogs.”
The World of Tanks community can support K9s For Warriors with contributions to the organization. Donation amounts are traced, and World of Tanks contributors will receive one of three “K9 Honor Packs” based on level of donation.

Gaijin Entertainment announces that the online military action game War Thunder will receive a major Danger Zone content update in mid-June. For the first time ever, players will be able to take to the skies in the long-awaited F-14 Tomcat, legendary US fourth-generation fighter jet and star of the popular Hollywood movies. The update will introduce dozens of other types of military vehicles ranging from the battlecruiser HMS Hood to the exotic South African G6 Rhino self-propelled howitzer. New “Abandoned Town” and “South-Eastern City” maps will also be added to the game.
The F-14 is a twin-engine variable-sweep wing jet fighter that was in service with the US carrier-based aviation from 1974 to 2006. American F-14s took part in the wars in Vietnam (in the final stages), Iraq and Yugoslavia. In addition, the F-14 fighters are still in service with the Iranian Air Force – these machines were tested in action on the fronts of the Iran-Iraq war, where they scored dozens of air victories.
The first modification of the F-14 in War Thunder will be the F-14A, equipped with an excellent set of air-to-air missiles. In addition to the Sparrow AIM-7E and F, as well as the Sidewinder AIM-9D and G that are already familiar to the players, the F-14A will feature the AIM-9H (a further development of the G version) and the AIM-54A Phoenix, a long-range missile with an active radar guidance system (both missiles will appear in the game for the first time). In addition, the F-14A has a 20mm M61A1 cannon with a rotating barrel, as well as bombs and unguided rockets in case it needs to attack ground targets.
The battlecruiser Hood was commissioned into the Royal Navy in 1920, becoming the largest warship in the British Navy. Eight 15 inch guns are capable of inflicting devastating damage to any enemy, including battleships. The main caliber is supplemented by an auxiliary battery of seven twin 4 inch all-purpose guns, as well as 40mm guns, machine guns and torpedo tubes. Due to its size and powerful armament, the ship was nicknamed the “The Mighty Hood” and became a symbol of the power of the British Empire, but at the beginning of World War II, she was tragically sunk in battle with the German battleship Bismarck.
The G6 Rhino is a self-propelled howitzer on a wheeled chassis with a 155mm gun that can quickly change position and unleash huge high-explosive projectiles (regular and with remote fuzes) on the enemy. The large caliber and weight of the explosives allow even inaccurate hits to cause significant damage from the blast wave and overpressure.
The Danger Zone update will also introduce other new features, including two new vehicle tech trees, as well as new graphical and weather effects.
Arrow Video is excited to announce the June 2022 lineup of their new subscription-based ARROW platform, available to subscribers in the US, Canada, the UK and Ireland.
The June 2022 lineup leads with the ARROW release of Mark O’Brien’s extraordinary psychological chiller The Righteous, an award-winning standout on the genre festival circuit, available June 10 in the US, UK and Ireland.
This first feature from director-actor-writer Mark O’Brien (AMC’s “61st Street”, Ready or Not, Blue Bayou) is a dark chiller about a burdened man who feels the wrath of a vengeful God, after he and his wife are visited by a mysterious stranger. The film stars O’Brien, Henry Czerny (Ready or Not, Mission Impossible, “Revenge”) and Mimi Kuzyk (The Day After Tomorrow, The Final Cut, “Shadowhunters”).
The Righteous had its World Premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival in 2021, winning the Cheval Noir and Silver Award, and has since gone on to win a Bloodie at the 2021 Blood in the Snow Film Festival, and the Grimmfest Award at the 2021 Grimmfest.
June 1 starts the month with The Trancers Collection, Charles Band’s tech-noir cyberpunk franchise) All six films, from the 1984 cult classic that started it all to the latest offering in 2002, will be available on ARROW in the US, UK, Canada and Ireland.
Enjoy a collection of new and contemporary classics with The Art of Cult (US/UK/CA/IRE).
Titles include: Children of the Corn, The Hills Have Eyes, The Stylist, Ringu.
Also available June 1, Hell High (US/UK/CA/IRE): a twisted tale of delinquency pushed to its horrifying extreme starring Christopher Cousins (“Breaking Bad”) and Christopher Stryker.
On June 6, enjoy a one-stop-shop on ARROW for all of Vinegar Syndrome’s screw-loose slices of saved-from-slaughter celluloid that makes it easy peasy to mainline all the underground genre films that will have you questioning your sanity that you can take: The Vinegar Syndrome Collection (US/UK/CA/IRE).
Titles include: Avenging Angel, The Passing, Star Time, Sweet Sugar.
On June 10, tremble before the Almighty in Mark O’Brien’s debut feature The Righteous (US/UK/IRE), a dark chiller about a burdened man who feels the wrath of a vengeful God, after he and his wife are visited by a mysterious stranger. The Righteous has been acclaimed by critics on the festival circuit, including such raves as: “A brazenly ambitious horror film about grief and belief” and “Mark O’Brien dominates both in front and behind the camera” from Alexandra Heller-Nicholas of The Alliance of Women Film Journalists, “Deeply engrossing and affecting… the film packs a philosophical punch” from Brian Fanelli at Horror Buzz, and “a remarkably assured directorial debut from O’Brien that provides a gratifying experience that is sure to chill, linger and provoke in ways that harken the best of horror cinema” from Harris Dang of In Their Own League.
On June 10, explore the dangers of being too polite with ARROW’s Season: I Think You Should Leave. We don’t want to come across as rude. We don’t want to hurt anybody’s feelings. But, sometimes we’re prisoners of our own manners and our politeness can turn deadly. And end… badly. This is a Season where nobody heeds that advice and look what happens to them.
Titles include: The Righteous, The Bloodhound, Two Thousand Maniacs, Shiver of the Vampire.
Lastly for June 10, discover Viy (US/CA), the first horror film ever produced in the Soviet Union. In 19th century Russia, a seminary student is forced to spend three nights with the corpse of a beautiful young witch. But when she rises from the dead to seduce him, it will summon a nightmare of fear, desire and the ultimate demonic mayhem.
On June 13, the overnight crew at a supermarket find themselves falling prey to The Intruder ((US/UK/CA/IRE). Featuring early appearances by Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell, this 1989 cult slasher sees bodies pile up one by one in the most gruesome fashion.
June 16 explores the question of what dangers lurk when the clairvoyant cannot see. When you can see the future with the power of your mind though – and you still manage to end up putting yourself or your friends on the butcher’s block – you really Should Have Seen It Coming (US/UK/CA/IRE).
Titles include: Dark August, The Premonition, Death Has Blue Eyes, Psychic Killer.
June 17 delivers a trio of terror for ARROW fans: Blood Dolls (US/UK/CA/IRE) and the cult classic slasher sequels Maniac Cop 2 (US/CA) and Maniac Cop III: Badge of Silence (US/CA).
June 20 caps off the month with an ode to ARROW’s favorite Texan preservers of the legacy of genre movies. ARROW celebrates the American Genre Film Archive with The AGFA Collection (US/UK/CA/IRE).
Titles include: Bat Pussy, Who Killed Captain Alex, She Mob, The Zodiac Killer.
