Sister Ann (Jacqueline Byers) believes she is answering a calling to be the first female exorcist…but who, or what, called her? Until now these schools have only trained priests in the Rite of Exorcism – but a professor (Colin Salmon) recognizes Sister Ann’s gifts and agrees to train her. Thrust onto the spiritual frontline with fellow student Father Dante (Christian Navarro), Sister Ann finds herself in a battle for the soul of a young girl, who Sister Ann believes is possessed by the same demon that tormented her own mother years ago. Determined to root out the evil, Ann soon realizes that evil has been expecting her.

Witchfire to Utilize NVIDIA DLSS3 Features and Gameplay Reveal

The Astronauts announced today they are bringing NVIDIA DLSS3 technology to Witchfire, the Polish studio’s upcoming rogue-lite shooter. The Astronauts also released a new gameplay trailer showcasing Witchfire’s rapid gunplay and new open-level design (not to be confused with fully open-world gameplay).

Adrian Chmielarz, Creative Director and Co-Founder of The Astronauts explains his perspective on how the DLSS 3 technology will affect Witchfire development:

“You start the game, push all graphics options to the max. You enjoy it for a while but then, especially if it’s an action game, you realize that the framerate is king. So you start lowering the quality of visuals in order to achieve that smooth gameplay. DLSS 3 allows the seemingly impossible, high framerate without compromising the visuals. A no brainer for a game like Witchfire, which is both action and beauty.”

NVIDIA DLSS 3 is a revolutionary breakthrough in neural graphics that massively boosts performance. Powered by fourth generation Tensor Cores and new Optical Flow Accelerator on GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, DLSS 3 uses AI to generate additional high-quality frames with great image quality and responsiveness.

From the creators of Painkiller and Bulletstorm, Witchfire is a first-person shooter set in a grimdark fantasy world in which a deadly war rages between powerful witches and the Church. In this alternate reality, witches are very real and very dangerous— but so is the witch hunter. Armed by Vatican sorcerers, players wield an ungodly array of guns and forbidden magic as they combat dark terrors on behalf of their shadowy benefactors.

After shifting development from arena-style fighting to open-level combat, Witchfire is on track for a release to Early Access this year. You can play in single-player or couch co-op mode with up to 4 players. Its retro-style twin-stick controls, amazing graphics, smooth gameplay, and phenomenal audio offers players the ultimate blast from the past on a modern system.

Guntech 2 challenges you to beat levels of hardcore action with epic boss battles at the end! You play using the Left Stick to steer and thrust your ship and the Right Stick to control the railgun. Your craft has a total of three different weapons. The L Button and R Button fire the two additional, more powerful weapons, which always fire in the direction of your ship’s nose. This allows you to shoot in any direction using the railgun, with extra firepower when you position your ship toward the enemy. There are 20 different weapons included in the game, and the weapons have different characteristics, and it’s up to you to figure out which works best for your playing style and any level. You can acquire new weapons between levels, but you can switch freely between the owned weapons during the gameplay.

Guntech 2 offers five distinct worlds to beat: Tutorial, Virus, The Dark Worlds, Space Jungle, and Cargo Hauler. Each world has eight levels plus a boss level at the end. Additionally, there are seasonal levels that are funny and silly little missions themed for seasons like Christmas and Halloween. You have a fresh set of lives for each level. Each level has three different goals. The first is mandatory for passing the levels and will earn you one star. The other level goals will earn you additional stars, and you can try to clear all levels to 3-star results.

To showcase new details about NCSOFT’s newest flagship IP, THRONE AND LIBERTY (TL), NC chief creative officer Taekjin Kim, along with principal development management officer Moonyoung Choi unveiled the latest about the game during a livestream Director’s Preview on the company’s official YouTube channel. TL is a next-gen massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG), coming to the global market in the first half of 2023 on PC and consoles.

In the Director’s Preview, CCO Taekjin Kim declared that “TL is an MMORPG for all players across nationalities and generations.” Kim also added, “Developed under the slogan of ‘Play For All’, TL will be available on the best platforms for players to enjoy TL, and that is both PC and console.”

Further in the preview, producer Jongok Ahn and game design director Moonseop Lee revealed more about TL’s key features and details. They demonstrated how TL is a seamless living world and dungeons that change depending on the weather condition and surrounding environments. The MMORPG has an immersive narrative where the past, present, and future are connected. The game also features a “Free Class” system, where player roles are decided by the weapons of their choice, and a PvP (Player versus player) combat system that allows players to decide whether they want to engage or not.

PDMO Moonyoung Choi further defined the direction of TL’s game service. As Choi described, “all aspects of TL are aligned with our service goal, ‘Play For All.’” Choi also stated that “TL offers unique UX and UI suitable for both PC and consoles, and also features precise character customization to meet the differing demands of our global playerbase.” TL’s ‘Memorial’ system adds to this by way of a sequential opening of content, customized according to player progress. For TL, streaming on mobile will also be available, enabling a further platform for players to keep up with their TL experience.

During today’s Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast, SQUARE ENIX® revealed that FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online’s Patch 6.3: “Gods Revel, Lands Tremble” will launch on Tuesday, January 10, 2023.

A new trailer offered players a fresh look at what to expect when Patch 6.3 launches, which includes a number of new activities including new main scenario quests, alliance raid, trial and more. Additionally, updates scheduled for Patch 6.35 were also shared, including a new series of daily tribal quests and the next stage in the Hildibrand story saga.

Gearbox Publishing and Gunfire Games have announced Remnant II, the sequel to the best-selling game Remnant: From the Ashes, a third-person action-survival shooter that pits the last remnants of humanity against the harrowing forces of evil. Remnant II evolves the co-op survival shooter with new unseen worlds filled with deadly surprises and encounters. Join the battle to save humanity in a dynamically generated world filled with branching quest lines, unique loot, and overwhelming odds that encourage exploration and replayability either alone or in three-person co-op. Players will define their own playstyle with an expanded Archetype class system and a wide assortment of guns, armor, and special augmentations as they overcome hard-fought challenges to stave off humanity’s extinction. Remnant II plunges players deeper into a devastated world requiring a mix of methodical and frenetic ranged and melee combat against cunning enemies and punishing boss battles. Each time players start a new playthrough of Remnant II they will be brought into a new world built from a wide pool of locations, enemies, NPCs, bosses, and weapons.
