Spanish developer Novarama is thrilled to announce the release of a completely free multiplayer demo for its game, UNITED 1944. Released on December 12th, UNITED 1944 has gathered very positive reviews from the community, now standing at an overall rating of 80 on Steam. This new demo is designed to allow everyone to enjoy the core experience of the game for free, squad up with players of the full game, and purchase the title when they are ready.

Featuring two game modes, three large maps, more than 20 weapons, and over 40 skills, UNITED 1944 is a rich multiplayer FPS that is as addicting as it is satisfying. Players can jump right into the fury of the largest battles of WWII spanning from the French Countryside and Northern Africa, to D-Day France, all while taking part in 16v16 battles of classic domination! Racket Club VR, developed by Resolution Games, is a new virtual reality sports game that takes inspiration from tennis, squash, and badminton to create a unique and physically engaging experience. Players step onto the court, armed with a virtual racket, and compete in matches against AI opponents or other players online. With its intuitive controls, immersive gameplay, and social features, Racket Club VR has quickly become a popular choice for VR enthusiasts.

The core gameplay of Racket Club VR is fantastic. Combining elements from different racket sports creates a fresh and exciting experience that is easy to pick up but challenging to master. The physics are spot-on, and the feeling of hitting the ball with a well-timed swing is incredibly satisfying.

Racket Club VR does a great job of transporting you to the virtual court. The environments are detailed and vibrant, and the sound effects are immersive. The game uses your VR headset’s tracking to accurately reflect your movements in the game, making you feel like you are truly controlling your virtual avatar.

One of the best things about Racket Club VR is the ability to play with friends online. Whether you are working together in doubles matches or battling it out head-to-head, the social aspect of the game adds a lot of fun and replayability. Additionally, Racket Club VR is a great way to get a workout. The game requires you to move around a lot, and you will definitely work up a sweat after a few matches.

While the core gameplay is great, there is not a lot of content in the launch version of Racket Club VR. There are only a few courts and game modes, which can get repetitive after a while. Also, you’ll need to make sure you have enough space to play the game and make full use of the court. If you’re space is too limiting, you might end up banging your hands into various, REAL objects.

Racket Club VR is a fun and immersive VR sports game with a lot of potential at a reasonable price of $24.99. The core gameplay is excellent, and the social features are a great addition. However, the lack of content and some assorted bugs hold the game back from being truly great. If you are excited by the innovative new sport concept and enjoy a good physical workout in VR, Racket Club VR is definitely worth checking out.

3D Realms and Pet Project Games are excited to announce the second Steam Early Access content drop for RIPOUT: the Gear Up Update. This new update adds multiple facets to RIPOUT’s content repertoire with two new sets of gear complete with their own buffs and a sharp new katana to aid in the efficient maiming of your enemies. But that isn’t all; this update also contains a new hazard, new pet support mods, and perhaps most importantly, the ability to join public games while they’re in progress.

The Gear Up Update is live today along with multiple new bug fixes and improvements, specifically concerning enemy behavior and the feel of your various weapons.

In RIPOUT, you’ll face off against mutant monstrosities transformed by Cell, a human-made biological weapon that has turned its sights on its creators, able to adapt their bodies in grotesque ways. Dark sails on the horizon tell of the coming storm. Embrace the Bronze Age Collapse by playing as one of two new factions from the Sea Peoples culture. The ruthless Sherden strive only to destroy and sacrifice while the Peleset are on the warpath to establish a new homeland. Dominate the land using the new gameplay mechanics including a horde style of gameplay, crush armies with 37 new units, and bring civilisation to its knees.

PLAY AS THE HARBINGERS OF THE BRONZE AGE COLLAPSE 
The Sea Peoples are warring hordes of nomads who sail the Mediterranean to exploit the chaos of the Bronze Age Collapse. With the ancient empires of Egypt, Canaan and the Hittites descending into total war, they arrive on their troubled shores to fight, raze and conquer everything in sight. As a horde factions The Sea Peoples must stay on the warpath to survive, and only through constant conquest can you sustain the Sherden and Peleset hordes and emerge victorious.

FACTION FOCUS: THE SHERDEN 
Lead the Sherden horde as Iolaos, a young and determent explorer who has but one aim; to lead his warband to where the sun rises, raising and sacrificing everything in their path as a tribute to the gods.

Gameplay Mechanics
The Sherden are a nomadic, snowballing horde that rely on constant conquest to survive. Use the new Spoils of War mechanic to raze cities for extra resources, construct Nuraghe Camps to strengthen your armies on the campaign trail and use the new resource Eminence to establish your dominance over your fellow Sea Peoples tribes and absorb them into your horde.

New Units
Command a host of new units including Nuraghe Warriors capable of forming an armoured turtle-like Kelone formation to protect themselves as they advance, Harpooneers who hurl deadly barbed javelins at your enemies, and Sherden Archers who fire sulphur tipped arrows that set the ground on fire beneath your enemies’ feet.

FACTION FOCUS: THE PELESET 
Sew the Bronze Age Collapse as Walwetes, the hulking patriarch leading our second faction, The Peleset. Taking to the sea after their empire was destroyed, The Peleset are in search of a new home and will build it atop the ruins of the ancient world if they must.

Gameplay Mechanics
The Peleset are a hybrid Nomadic/Settled horde that can both pitch camp and occupy cities on the campaign map. Spoils of War and Eminence are your friends as you embrace the unique challenge of balancing the need to stay on the warpath to survive with the need to settle, creating the foundations for a new Peleset empire to be forged in the furnace of the Bronze Age Collapse.

New Units
Command all new units including Oxen Carts, a dismountable chariot capable of flanking the enemy, delivering Peleset shock troops into the heat of battle. Peleset Marines; heroic warriors that can unleash volleys of javelins before getting into close combat, and Peleset Raiders; elite and aggressive infantry who move fast and hit hard.

Ashborne Games and THQ Nordic have unveiled more details surrounding the first premium DLC for their historical RTS Last Train Home. The “Legion Tales” expansion introduces a collection of 10 new missions, narrating combat encounters so spectacular that they have become legendary among the legionnaires. The “Legion Tales” DLC is scheduled to release on Feb. 1, 2024, as a free download for Deluxe Edition owners. It will also be available as a standalone purchase for $14.99, with a 10% discount running at launch through February 8. In addition, the Deluxe Edition will be on sale from February 1-8 with a 34% discount, making this the perfect time to jump aboard the Last Train Home!

Each of the 10 missions in the “Legion Tales” DLC is accompanied by a unique story and offers high replayability. Players can customize their experiences with optional challenges that will reward them with a newly implemented meta-currency upon completion.
