Players will be given the keys to a rundown ranch to make their own and tasked with restoring their family’s racing legacy. Rival Stars Horse Racing features animations captured with real-life motion capture, meaning these realistic race horses are the closest players can get to actually jumping in the saddle themselves.

They can race alone through a full story campaign, or take their skills online and compete on tracks inspired by some of the most famous locations in the racing world.

Blood: Refreshed Supply Death Wish Expansion Out Now

Today, Nightdive Studios has released the Death Wish expansion for Blood: Refreshed Supply — its definitive remaster of the 1997 cult classic shooter — as a free game update. Death Wish features four episodes featuring all-new content exclusive to Blood: Refreshed Supply and acts as a sequel to the game’s events.

Expect more hellfire and sin than you can shake a crucifix at!

Originally developed by Monolith Productions and released in 1997 for MS-DOS PCs, Blood is a legendary first-person shooter that drips with Lovecraftian atmosphere and chunks of crimson viscera. Nightdive Studios first released an improved port called Blood: Fresh Supply on PC in 2019; with source code in hand, the studio then revisited the gory shooter with Blood: Refreshed Supply, which released in partnership with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on December 4, 2025, on PC and — for the first time — consoles.

Armies of bloodthirsty fiends, including cultists, gargoyles, zombies, hellhounds, and a host of other unholy terrors, await across the game’s 42 pulse-pounding levels — waiting to be mutilated by a vicious arsenal of weapons. Blood buddies can also take the fun into multiplayer, either online or on the couch in split-screen. Advanced modding support keeps juices flowing for custom fan-made content. In addition to the original Blood campaign and the Plasma Pak and Cryptic Passage add-ons, Blood: Refreshed Supply features two new mission scenarios: Marrow (available now) and Death Wish.

Death Wish — with four episodes, totaling 48 maps — begins years in the future after the events of Cryptic Passage, Post Mortem, and Marrow, where the specter of Tchernobog still looms after his defeat, having regained strength as protagonist Caleb fought other battles. When his growing power can no longer be veiled, Tchernobog’s forces face off against his foe as the moment of the Dreaming God’s ascension draws near. All maps have been upgraded from their previous mod versions, while the entirety of episode 4 and other levels are entirely new. All maps are co-op compatible and feature custom music from Noelle Amelie Aman (Speedy) and Sjellos (Silentsphere Studios).

The Outlast Trials – Project Judas Cinematic Trailer

PULL THE PLUG BEFORE HE GOES ON AIR. The twins’ dream of supreme power has never felt closer to reality. The Outlast Trials returns with its sixth season, Project Judas, premiering March 24 on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation, with all the polish and menace of a primetime broadcast.

Otto and Arora Kress are back, and this time, they want the airwaves.

The Kress Twins have spent years meticulously grooming Bob Vanier, a silver-tongued celebrity and idol to the masses, into their ideal political candidate. Molded to serve Murkoff’s agenda, Vanier is moments away from announcing his candidacy, live on national television, unless Reagents can seat Murkoff’s own candidate first.

Welcome to the Television Studio. The stage is set. The cameras are rolling. Here is a brief preview of some of the new additions to expect:

🟢 TRIAL: SILENCE THE IDOL 🟢

You are the electric eye, the ravenous panopticon that births and consumes with the same razor-toothed orifice. Tear, burn, and crush the face of false charisma, and we will let you out.

🔵 MK-CHALLENGE: SOLVE THE MURDER 🔵

You are the fetishist, whose obsession with the totems of violence allows you to define more convenient truths. Find the evidence to condemn our chosen killer, and we will let you out.

🔴 NEW LIMITED-TIME EVENT: SCAVENGER 🔴

Prepare for the [REDACTED] collapse.

Enter the Trials with nothing. Salvage unstable, single-use Rigs from Reagent corpses. Collect discarded mechanical components and return them to drop boxes to be used for the [REDACTED] of [REDACTED].

Some questions are better left unanswered. For now.

The Occultist Final Dev Diary Explores Psychological Horror

Daedalic Entertainment and developer DALOAR present the fifth and final episode of The Occultist Dev Diary series, offering one last behind-the-scenes look ahead of the game’s release on April 8. The episode dives into the psychological foundations of the experience, focusing on ambiguity, player interpretation, and the kind of tension that lingers long after the game is over.

Instead of relying on traditional jumpscares or definitive answers, The Occultist builds slow-burning suspense through silence, anticipation, and imagination. The developers highlight how leaving questions unresolved allows players to form their own interpretations and remain connected to the story beyond the final moments.

At the same time, the episode explores protagonist Alan’s transformation, as he is forced to confront his past and emotions throughout the journey. The result is an experience where fear gradually fades, but its emotional impact stays with players well after the screen goes dark.

Rule the Waves 3: Expanded Battles Gameplay Trailer

With its unique style of gameplay, Rule the Waves 3, like its predecessors, has a place in the hearts of naval warfare enthusiasts. The game, a simulation of naval ship design and construction, fleet management and naval warfare, is set between 1890 to 1970 and puts the players in the role of Grand Admiral of a navy.

With the new DLC, Expanded Battles, naval warfare fans can enjoy six detailed historical scenarios and two hypothetical scenarios, putting their skills to the test as naval tacticians. The expansion also offers a comprehensive set of tools to unleash creativity. Players can design ships using a powerful editor, save them, and share their creations with the community. The scenario editor enables the creation of historical or fictional naval engagements from 1890 to 1970, with customizable AI paths, variable deployments, submarines, and so much more to ensure that players can create the naval battle they’ve always dreamed of.

For those who prefer a quick skirmish to a long campaign or want to jump straight into the action, the new Quick Battles system generates battles from across the Rule the Waves 3 timeline, matching balanced or unbalanced forces from same or vastly different periods in naval history.

Rule the Waves 3: Expanded Battles adds replayability, depth, and creative freedom to an already standout naval warfare simulator.

New Scenarios:

  • Battle of the Yellow Sea (1904): The Imperial Japanese Navy attempts to block the unification of Russian naval forces in the Far East during the Russo-Japanese War.
  • Battle of Dogger Bank (1915): The British Navy gets wind of a major German naval raiding force composed of heavy battlecruisers and moves to intercept.
  • Battle of the Denmark Strait (1941): The Royal Navy’s interception squadron engages the Kriegsmarine’s battleship Bismarck as it attempts to raid Allied merchant shipping in the Atlantic.
  • Operation Rheinubung (1941): A small Kriegsmarine task force comprised of the battleship Bismarck and its supporting cruiser, Prinz Eugen, break into the Atlantic to menace supply efforts to the British Isles.
  • Operation Rheinubung Hypothetical (1941): An expanded version of Operation Rheinubung that gives additional forces to the Kriegsmarine and the Royal Navy.
  • Second Naval Battle of Guadalcanal (1942): An Imperial Japanese Navy task force attempts to support efforts to eject the US from the important island of Guadalcanal, as the US Navy sends a force to reinforce their embattled troops.
  • Battle of the Eastern Solomons (1942): A US Carrier Naval Task Force moves to intercept a major Japanese reinforcement force heading for Guadalcanal.
  • Hypothetical Battle in the Mediterranean during the Cold War (1970): a hypothetical naval engagement between Soviet and NATO navies vying for dominance in the Mediterranean.

> INCOMING DIRECTIVE: WATCH UPDATE 03: CURIOSITY WAKES TRAILER:

Curiosity Wakes marks a pivotal shift in the game’s direction by shattering the silence of the heavens and unlocking the player’s ability to contact humanity’s distant orbital haven for the very first time.

Update 03 Highlights:

  • Contact with space: The caretaker can interact with the new Council of Humanity to build vital committees that shape the life on earth surface. These committees are populated by the very humans being launched into orbit. In this way, the committee system reveals one of the ultimate purposes of the player’s efforts.
  • New and smarter threats: Ram Sharks, Laser Sharks, and waking ArchAngels add new danger to the ocean. Plus, enemies in general are more deliberate in their attacks and less predictable.
  • You’re not alone: players can unlock and fabricate allied support units, including Field Escort & Localized Intervention Sphere systems and Sweethearts companions.
  • New Caretaker customisation: change the look of your Caretaker with numerous paint options.
  • New locations, quests, items, and upgrades: including the Shark Research Area, Rollerboi Factory, discover long-forgotten facilities, unlock new modules, extract new resources, and evolve your Caretaker along new progression systems.

At the centre of the update is an evolution of the player’s mission. Until now humanity’s future has been prepared in silence by an unseen force. Curiosity Wakes begins to provide the answers. The humans you launch no longer disappear into space; every launch brings meaning, structure, and consequence to the world below.

Beyond its major systems and story additions, Update 03: Curiosity Awakes continues Channel37’s ongoing commitment to grow and improve the world of The Last Caretaker. New enemies and support units arrive alongside additional balancing, enhanced audio, upgraded interaction feedback, and broader systemic improvements across exploration, combat, and performance.

The Last Caretaker is available now in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store, currently discounted by 20% $27.99 / €23.99 / £21.59

New Permafrost Video Reveals A World Where Nature Wants You Dead

Grab your gear and don’t forget your chemical heaters, as you step into the frozen wasteland of Permafrost, the upcoming story-based survival sandbox from development studio SpaceRocket Games and publisher Toplitz Productions. Once you enter this desolate open world, buried under ice and snow after a cataclysmic event that culminated in the shattering of the moon, you’ll discover that nature itself is trying to end your life.

The newly released video highlights the game’s dynamic weather systems and richly varied biomes. From the eerie beauty of dense forests with trees thickly covered in snow to the raw fury of blinding storms on the white tundra and the skeletal remains of civilization in the form of a destroyed metropolis, the stunning world offers a wide range of beautiful, yet dangerous environments.

Weather is more than just a backdrop and plays an important role in Permafrost as a constant threat that will punish you if you decide to ignore it. It’s a dynamic, ever-shifting force that you must read and respect, whether you take on the challenge alone or together with up to four survivors in co-operative multiplayer. For example, you need to read the subtle warning signs that an unforgiving blizzard is rolling in and use the time to find or build a shelter. Survival depends on understanding your environment as much as optimizing your gear.

Permafrost launches in Early Access on PC later this year. More information can be found on the official Steam product page, where the game can already be wishlisted or you can join the Toplitz Productions Discord to stay updated.
