Star Trek Adventures Alpha Quadrant Sourcebook Release Date

Modiphius Entertainment is excited to announce the release date for the Star Trek Adventures Alpha Quadrant Sourcebook. It will be available from the Modiphius webstore in print & pdf on July 25th 2019, and in friendly local gaming stores in August.

The Alpha Quadrant Sourcebook contains everything you need to run and play games in the Alpha Quadrant whether you want to negotiate with a Ferengi starship, play as a Caitian or explore the Badlands and Demilitarized zones on the Federations border. Moving the timeline forwards from 2371 to when the Klingon’s withdraw from the Khitomer Accords in 2372 the sourcebook also encompasses the next stage in the Star Trek Adventures living campaign.

We are all explorers driven to know what’s over the horizon, what’s beyond our own shores. The Alpha Quadrant Sourcebook provides Gamemasters and Players with a wealth of information to aid in playing or running adventures set within the Alpha Quadrant of the Star Trek universe. July 15, 2019 – Danger lurks around every corner on far-flung alien worlds, and today, developer Tortuga Team is releasing an overview of just some of the deadly alien aggressors in their upcoming tactical adventure — Spaceland. In the new overview, you can download images and info about monsters like the Creeper, Roach, and the big bad Bronton. Each alien species has distinct combat tactics and abilities, challenging players’ tactical skills as they make the best use of cover, line-of-sight, and good old fashioned firepower to take down these fearsome foes.

Spaceland, set for release on PC later this year, drops players into the boots of a tough-as-nails tactical team of Space Rangers as they explore a hostile world and defeat its vicious denizens in turn-based combat. Dragon Ball World Adventure Begins at San Diego Comic Con

Los Angeles, CA – July 12, 2019 Toei Animation Inc. Funimation, a Sony Pictures Television company, and Bluefin, a Bandai Namco group company, revealed today the complete details for the launch of the 2019 Dragon Ball World Adventure at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con including a history-making Guinness World Records attempt on Opening Day of the tour.

Co-sponsored and presented jointly by Bandai and Toei Animation, the 2019 Dragon Ball World Adventure opens on Wednesday July 17 at an expansive installation on the Marriott Marina Terrace at the Marriot Marquis San Diego. The tour will continue throughout San Diego Comic-Con 2019 from July 18 – July 21 and will be open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Following San Diego Comic-Con, the 2019 Dragon Ball World Adventure will travel to seven additional locations around the world including stops in New York City, Mexico City Mexico, Cologne Germany, Barcelona Spain, Shanghai China, Hong Kong China, and Tokyo Japan.

Dragon Ball Guinness World Records Attempt

Come be a part of Dragon Ball and Guinness World Records history! The 2019 Dragon Ball World Adventure will open with a special Guinness World Records attempt to become the largest gathering of people simultaneously performing the iconic Kamehameha super energy attack move.

Fans will gather on Wednesday, July 17 at 3:30 p.m. at the 2019 Dragon Ball World Adventure on the Marriott Marina Terrace at the Marriot Marquis San Diego. The first 1,000 participants to arrive will receive a free Dragon Ball Scouter accessory to wear during the Guinness World Records attempt. The Kamehameha super energy attack move will be led by actor Sean Schemmel, the English voice of Dragon Ball character Goku. Guinness World Records will be onsite to supervise and validate the record attempt.

Dive into the world of Dragon Ball with an expansive collection of multi-faceted interactive installations will delight fans and attendees. SANTA MONICA, Calif. – Jul. 9, 2019 – The new community event for Call of Duty®: Black Ops 4 – Operation Apocalypse Z – is available now on Playstation®4, with other platforms to follow. Operation Apocalypse Z unleashes hordes of the undead across the game as it channels the series’ Zombies legacy through updates across the entire game. The new content includes a fan-favorite Specialist “Reaper” who makes its Black Ops 4debut, three Multiplayer maps, new eerie atmosphere in the Blackout map, and a variety of themed personalization items and gear to acquire. Additionally, players will return to Treyarch’s epic Aether story in the new action-packed Zombies Experience, Alpha Omega.

“We have a team of talented storytellers that have been helping to craft Zombies experiences for more than 10 years, and we wanted to bring that imagination to every mode of Black Ops 4, which is why we’re excited to put Operation Apocalypse Z in player’s hands,” said Dan Bunting, Co-Studio Head, Treyarch. “This is a veteran team that strives to do their best work with each new experience and this is no exception –Operation Apocalypse Z represents a ton of creativity and passion from everyone to really immerse fans in our unique world of the undead.”

Operation Apocalypse Z’s free, new content includes:

New Blackout Updates – As the Zombie apocalypse has begun, sunny skies have departed in favor of something more un-deadly in the main Blackout map. Zombies have leeched most of the life from the landscape forcing the alive to take refuge and survive amongst a deep fog and familiar Zombies sights and sounds. Additionally, the Alcatraz map debuts a nighttime atmospheric change complete with new Zombie enemies. Coming later in the Operation, brand-new Zombie-themed Blackout modes will also debut in the game, including Pandemic and Alcatraz Horde.
New Specialist – Available now in both Multiplayer and Blackout, Reaper makes his Black Ops 4 debut. Reaper is a cutting-edge combat robot with a robust fighting style wielding the Scythe, a high-powered, two-handed minigun unleashing heavy gunfire. This fan-favorite Specialist is also equipped with a Radar Shroud that prohibits enemies from using their minimap and deploys a scrambling device to block out areas on enemies’ minimap.
New Black Market Gear – The Black Market has been restocked with a variety of new Zombie-themed Specialist outfits and personalization items, weapon camos and gestures for Operation Apocalypse Z. This includes new weapons like the Reaver C86 Crossbow, Black Ops III’s Argus Shotgun, Daemon 3XB Mastercraft, MOG 12 MKll and Vendetta MKll that players can acquire and master.
New Zombies Features – Operation Apocalypse Z introduces new Perks and Elixirs across all Zombies maps, providing new variations on gameplay once they’re equipped and activated.

In addition to the Operation Apocalypse Z free content, owners of the Black Ops Pass gain access to more new content, available first on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system:

New Multiplayer Map, Der Schatten – A snowy map set in a village high in the Austrian Alps that sits in the shadows of the castle from the Aether story Zombies experience, “Der Eisendrache.” Combat takes place in a combination of bright and dark areas pushing player to fight in close quarters.
New Multiplayer Map, Remnant – A large-sized map set in the “The Museum of Unnatural History” deep in the Louisiana marshes where historical relics thirst for chaos and blood. Complete with a portal that can transport players to opposite sides of the map, Remnant is structured for mid-ranged combat where longer sightlines flank the exterior of the museum.
Remastered Multiplayer Map, Havana – Reimagined from the original Call of Duty: Black Ops, Havana is a medium-sized map set in a sunny Cuban city during the Cold War tensions. The map is designed in a Z-shape resulting in a combination of close and long-ranged firefights.
New Zombies Experience, Alpha Omega – Continuing the Aether storyline, Alpha Omega lets players jump in as the original, fan-favorite Zombies characters from both the Primis and Ultimis cast, playable together for the first time ever. This allows fans to gain new insight into the ever-twisting story as the timelines converge. Players will fight off hordes of new Zombie enemies, solve challenges, and discover new Easter eggs in a wild experience up to the very end.

The Black Ops Pass* is included in the Digital Deluxe Edition, the Digital Deluxe Enhanced Edition, the Pro Edition, and the Mystery Box Edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, and can also be purchased standalone digitally or at participating retailers.

Exclusive SPAWN Merch Announced for San Diego Comic Con

Tempe, AZ – July 2, 2019 – On the historic road to SPAWN 300 and 301, Todd McFarlane Productions will be relaunching licensed SPAWN merchandise for the first time in over a decade. The creator of SPAWN himself, Todd McFarlane, has placed extra care into curating each piece of the SPAWN Merchandise collection to ensure that it reflects the iconic superhero in the truest form. The release will signify Todd McFarlane’s momentous return to pencil and ink for SPAWN 300 and 301. Issue 301 will officially make SPAWN the Longest-Running Creator Owned Comic in the World!

The full-fledged merchandise assortment of all things SPAWN includes t-shirts, pins, lanyards, vinyl figures, and finally an exclusive SPAWN art print and comic book. These items are 2019 Event Exclusive merchandise and range from Classic to Modern SPAWN. All aspects of SPAWN are seen through the merchandise, which reflects a journey from the initial release 27 years ago.

There are two t-shirts available including the SPAWN Orb T-shirt and the SPAWN Parody T-shirt. The SPAWN Orb T-shirt features the classic SPAWN logo. The SPAWN Parody T-shirt pays homage to the anti-hero’s iconic red cape. Both shirts are available in sizes ranging from small to 3X and are priced at $25.00.

There are five exclusive pins included in the collection: SPAWN Logo Pin, SPAWN Parody Pin, SPAWN Triangle Pin, SPAWN Skull Pin, and SPAWN Orb Pin. Pin collectors are in luck with a range of classic designs from the comics release in 1992, as well as highlighting more recent features of the SPAWN series. The price of the pins ranges from $10.00 – $12.00.

The McFarlane Event Exclusive SPAWN Art Print features its own unique identification number and will be available in the limited quantity of 250 posters. Luckily fans may be able to get their limited edition Art Print signed because Image Comics is giving away free tickets to Todd McFarlane’s signing sessions beginning at 9:30 AM each day of Comic-Con. The SPAWN Art Print is solely available at the Image Comics booth #1915 for $20.00.

The collection will feature a new category of McFarlane Toys ripped straight from the pages of SPAWN Kills Everyone 2, the SPAWN BumBumz Vinyl Figure. The SPAWN BumBumz vinyl figure comes in premium packaging and contains an exclusive art card that features a scene from SPAWN Kills Everyone 2. There are two different versions available to choose from, including Black or Blue BumBumz and costs only $25.00 (as seen pictured below).

Another piece of the collection is the first ever SPAWN Logo Lanyard! The price of the SPAWN Logo Lanyard is $10.00.

Super7 Unveils Peanuts SDCC Collection

July 2, 2019 – Good Grief, is it ComicCon already?! Super7, makers of collectible toys and apparel, heads to the funny pages with the debut of its new Peanuts collection at SDCC. Known for taking well loved entertainment properties from the past and putting a new, modern spin on them, Super7 has done it again with the beloved comic strip Peanuts and focusing on the more stylized 1950’s characters from the launch of the strip.

Return to the good ol’ days of Peanuts at the exclusive Good Grief, a Super7 x Peanuts Gift Shop, showcased at the Super7 San Diego store.This once in a year/lifetime/Comic Con exclusive event will take place Friday through Sunday July 19-21, 2019, 11:00am-9:00pm (Fri-Sat) and11:00am-5:00pm (Sun) at 701 Eighth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101.

This collection’s signature piece, the Good Ol’ Charlie Brown 3.75” ReAction Figure showcases Charlie Brown as he appeared in the very first Peanuts newspaper strip from October 2nd, 1950. Standing by Good Ol’ Charlie Brown’s side will be a life-size 16” Snoopy vinyl figure featuring a teasing Snoopy, complete with a removable Charlie Brown Mask and fabric shirt, as he was seen in the Oct 23, 1953 strip. Six additional 3.75” ReAction figures join in on the fun, including Cowboy Charlie Brown, Racoon Hat Snoopy, PJ Sally, Baseball Schroeder, Pirate Linus and Winter Lucy.
