Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Tempestfall Gameplay Trailer

Carbon Studio has premiered the first look at gameplay from their upcoming VR-exclusive action-adventure title Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Tempestfall. Its messages are very clear: this game features a highly detailed world full of Age of Sigmar and offers intense action, from savage decapitations to using arcane lightning to slay menacing wraiths.

“We’re very excited to show off a small slice of what we’ve been working on for over a year. We know you are eager for a first look at gameplay footage from Tempestfall, and we look forward to seeing your reactions,” says Aleksander Caban, Carbon Studio’s Co-Founder.

With the Warhammer Skulls festival in full swing, Carbon Studio has started sign-ups for Tempestfall’s closed beta on their official Discord channel. Until June 10th, anyone with a VR-capable PC and a bit of free time can send in their participation request.

Additionally, there’s a Tempestfall Wishlist Contest going on with Oculus Quest 2 and game goodies at stake. To participate, all you have to do is take a screenshot confirming you wishlisted the game on either Steam or Oculus and send it to us at giveaway@tempestfall.com. Winners will be announced on June 10th on Carbon Studio’s social media channels.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 Out Now

Today, CI Games is proud to launch its highly anticipated modern warfare shooter, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2, on PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. To celebrate, the studio also released an explosive new trailer, featuring Raven, the protagonist of Contracts 2, maneuvering through a sandbox map to complete one of the 21 deadly contracts. A perfect introduction to the latest entry in the best-selling first person sniping franchise, it showcases many of the exciting new updates in store, including 1000m+ extreme-range sniping, next-gen graphics, more intelligent NPCs, and the most lethal array of weapons yet.

CI Games has also partnered with top FPS Twitch streamer, shroud, to create an exclusive DLC launch package. The PS5 version will arrive later in the year, but PS5 players needn’t wait, as all PS4 editions of SGW Contracts 2 will arrive with a free digital upgrade to the next-generation version, upon its release later this year. The studio also recently announced that the title’s first DLC map would be given away entirely for free across all platforms. This DLC is currently in development and will include an extensive new region complete with all-new contracts and objectives.

Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 is set in Kuamar, a lawless region of the Middle East, located along the Lebanese and Syrian borders. Players take on the role of Raven, Contract Sniper Assassin, as they attempt to take down the brutal dictatorship installed by President Bibi Rashida and her husband, Omar Al-Bakr. Contracts 2 takes the sandbox design of the first game to the next level with extreme long-range sniping, adding to the variety of objectives players will tackle and revisit using realistic weapons, gadgets, and skills they’ll enhance with unlockable upgrades.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood Unveils Reopening Date

Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood (WBSTH) is excited to welcome back guests on June 26, revealing new experiences that get fans closer to the entertainment they love. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted at the new Welcome Center, their gateway to Hollywood, with all-new ways to go behind the lens of movie-making magic. Already a Trip Advisor Traveler’s Choice award recipient, the studio tour in Los Angeles is now more fun with the “Storytelling Showcase,” and a new interactive grand finale, “Action and Magic Made Here.” The incredible new Studio Store provides fans access to exclusive merchandise from their favorite film and TV titles.

Concluding the tour is an elegant display of iconic treasures from Warner Bros. most beloved films and TV shows in the “Celebration of Awards Season.” The exhibit spotlights iconic crown jewel props and costumes from our classic films, such as the trombone that Robert Preston played in The Music Man, the jersey worn by the late Chadwick Boseman to portray Jackie Robinson in 42, and a painstakingly detailed miniature blimp from Ridley Scott’s Blade Runner.

The Welcome Center will house a brand-new Warner Bros Studio Store that will be accessible to the general public. The studio store offers the only in-person shopping experience with exclusive merchandise from legendary Warner Bros. films and TV shows. In the Personalization Area, fans can bring their fandom to life and choose from a host of personalization options, including engraving a wand, a replica award, and more. Later this year, guests will be able to access merchandise from the studio store online.

The Studio Tour is conveniently located near public transportation and will offer ample covered parking for guests and tour buses with designated drop-off and pick-up areas for rideshare services.

Upon reopening, the Studio Tour will be open on weekends, from June 26 through July 11, with the Tour also being open on July 5. From July 15, the Studio Tour will operate 5 days a week and remain closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Tours will depart from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM with departures every 30 minutes. E3 2021 Unveils Schedule and Launches Fan Registration

As E3 2021 gets ready to kick off on Saturday, June 12, the official schedule has been revealed. In addition, fans can now register to be a part of the global four-day virtual event that will feature digital presentations from major industry publishers such as Nintendo and Microsoft, panel discussions, celebrity appearances, exciting reveals and more. Fans can register at the E3 website to gain access to the E3 2021 online portal and app, a key hub for the duration of the show.

War Thunder Gets Red Skies Update

Gaijin Entertainment announced that the military online action War Thunder added a new major Content Update “Red Skies”. It adds rank VII aviation to the game, including the Soviet MiG-23M and the Chinese J-7E fighter jets, as well as dozens of other military vehicles, i.e., Soviet Yak-28B tactical bomber, modern Russian T-80BVM tank, German Marder A1 APC, Franko-Finnish ITO 90M SAM and Italian Dante Alighieri battleship. Currently there are more than 2000 real ground, air, and naval war machines in the game! The nuclear blast effect allows now to realistically destroy buildings in real time. The latest update also adds two new maps (Red Desert and Sunken City), and commander sights for ground vehicles that are equipped with such a device in real life are now fully simulated.

The MiG-23M is the most modern aircraft in the Soviet/Russian tech tree and is currently the fastest fighter jet in the game. It has a variable sweep wing with three positions and a maximum speed of Mach 2.4. The MiG-23M brings down enemies with a twin autocannon, bombs, rockets, and air-to-air guided missiles, including the new R-23R with its radar homing head and the R-23T with a thermal seeker. The MiG-23M infrared search-and-track device can capture the thermal signature of an operating engine from an enemy aircraft at a very large distance and covertly launching a missile without alarming any enemy radar warning system.

The introduction of rank VII aircraft is a major step for War Thunder that will allow the game to move forward from Vietnam war era signature fighter jets, like MiG-21 and F-4 Phantom II, and gradually add even more contemporary machines in future updates.

The T-80BVM is an upgrade of the old Soviet T-80BV tanks to the level of the modern T-72B3 and T-90M MBTs. The modernization includes an up-to-date fire control system with a duplicate sight for the commander, and the ability to operate the 9M119 tandem ATGMs, as well as the “Relikt” ERA pack instead of the outdated “Kontakt-1”. Thanks to the latter, the protection of the vehicle from HEAT and AP projectiles has been significantly increased.

The “Red Skies” update also brings the thorough simulation of a nuclear blast effect. This allows the player to watch the blast leveling buildings in any map from various points of view. The new algorithm generates the nuclear mushroom, condensation domes and the blast wave that realistically interacts with the sky and objects on the map. Tactical nuclear weapons were added to the game in the “New Power” update and are available in arcade and realistic battle modes to the best performing players. In a situation when the team fights poorly as a whole, a single hero can farm enough points to respawn in a strategic bomber and bring victory to their side with one single successful strike.

The latest update also adds a few minor but quite useful mechanics, like the naval shell chase camera or the ability to help your teammates with firefighting in the vehicle.

HBO Max Rolls Out Ad-Supported Subscription Plans

Starting today, HBO Max’s incredible streaming catalog and premium user experience will become even more accessible with the launch of a new advertising-supported subscription tier, rolling out throughout the day. With this launch, HBO Max now provides consumers the flexibility to choose between the existing ad-free subscription option at $14.99 per month, or one with ads for $9.99 per month.

For even further savings, HBO Max is offering new and returning subscribers the option to pre-pay and save more than 15% by signing up for the ad-supported tier of HBO Max for $99.99/year or without ads for $149.99/year.

Crytek has announced the Crysis Remastered Trilogy, coming to consoles and PC this fall.
