Toy Soldiers HD Delayed Until Sept 30th

We were planning for a September 9 release for Toy Soldiers HD, but we have decided we needed a little more time to fine tune. Once performance across all platforms meets our expectations, we will submit it to first parties for certification. That means our new release date is September 30th.

These extra few days in development will ensure Toy Soldiers HD will be the definitive edition, packed with improved performance, new single and multiplayer experiences, and will include all previously released DLC.

Toy Soldiers HD, the overhauled, upgraded, and better-than-ever military shooter and strategy game, will be playable on all platforms. It will launch on Xbox One (playable on Xbox Series X I S) and Steam. And for the first time ever, it will be available on the PlayStation 4 (playable on PS5) and Nintendo Switch.

Toy Soldiers HD is the digital embodiment of our childhood imagination mixed with strategy and military action. WWI era toy soldiers and military vehicles. First first-person POV shooter and third-person top-down strategic perspectives. Single and multiplayer gameplay. WWI sights and sounds.

We are so very close and cannot wait for September 30th.

In the meantime, we wanted to release a walk-through video showing single-player action with commentary. We hope you enjoy the video:

We apologize for the new date. And we thank you for your understanding.

Thank you,

Accelerate Games & Signal Studios Family

World of Warships Anniversary 6th Anniversary Video

Wargaming, developer and publisher of the world’s most popular free to play naval combat game, World of Warships, has today launched a massive content update to celebrate its 6th anniversary. Update 0.10.8 brings the “6 Years of World of Warships” Collection, which comes with attractive rewards, alongside a brand-new wave of Transformers content. Furthermore, Dutch cruisers have been added as a new ship branch, while Soviet aircraft carriers begin their maiden voyage in early access, followed by a new temporary event that teaches players about the different experimental aircraft design schools.

Six Years of Warships
To join the birthday celebrations, players can jump into the “6 Years of World of Warships” collection, and begin piecing together a giant 60-piece jigsaw puzzle, dedicated to the biggest events over the previous year. Pieces can be obtained from “6 years of World of Warships” special containers, which are available in the Armory in exchange for Festive Tokens. Players can also get containers by completing a special combat mission chain or with the new temporary Aircraft Bureaus Rivalry event. The reward for completing the collection will be a Supercontainer, 6x Gift containers, the “6 Years of World of Warships” festive flag and Festive Tokens can be exchanged in the Armory for themed permanent camouflages.

On top of that, players can look forward to special festive bonuses that can be earned by simply playing any Tier V ship or higher. Depending on ship tier players can obtain Supercontainers, Gift containers and Festive Tokens.

TRANSFORMERS, Warships in disguise!
World of Warships has teamed up with Hasbro to announce the second part of their popular crossover event. To celebrate the 35th anniversary of the iconic animated film, THE TRANSFOMERS: THE MOVIE, Wargaming will be releasing a slew of new in-game content inspired by the legendary franchise.

Four new characters enter the fray in World of Warships. Beginning 24th September players will be able to lead Hot Rod, Grimlock, Starscream and Soundwave in the battle on the open seas. The collaboration includes animated permanent thematic camouflages, expandable camouflages, commanders with unique voiceovers, as well as patches and flags to display The Matrix of Leadership proudly.

Dutch Cruisers are ready to research
Dutch Tier I–X cruisers are now available for all players to research, following a successful maiden voyage on Early Access. Setting sail from the historical Rotterdam port, these ships feature a new armament type – Airstrike, good concealment and maneuverability, as well as powerful guns and solid armor on high tiers.

Soviet CVs arrive in Early Access
Soviet aircraft carriers Tier IV Komsomolets, Tier VI Serov, and Tier VIII Pobeda have all arrived in Early Access in Update 0.10.8. Featuring powerful squadrons which attack in a single strike, rocket boosters, and skip bombers, these ships are set to bring a powerful aerial threat to the seas! These ships can be obtained through a new temporary resource: Soviet Tokens. These are earned through participating in the Aircraft Bureaus Rivalry event, activating free daily bundles and random bundles, or in exchange for Community Tokens in the Armory.

We got a sailing convoy!
Update 0.10.8 brings a brand new temporary battle type to World of Warships, based on real life events which have proven critical during 20th century conflicts — Convoy escort missions. Naval battles are often won or lost by defending or destroying cargo lanes, so players will be able to experience this conflict first hand. One team will need to escort a convoy of four bot ships that sail along a defined route, while the opposition team looks to prevent them from reaching their destination.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human Releases First Urban Legend Audio Story

Techland has published the first Urban Legend audio story, “Rosemary,” introducing players to the history of Dying Light 2 Stay Human. The audio story is available here.

“Rosemary” is an urban legend from the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, created especially for people who like scary stories told by the bonfire at night. “Rosemary” is the first in a series of short audiobooks about events so outlandish it’s hard to believe they might have happened. There are many such stories in the post-apocalyptic world of Dying Light 2, and the difficulties of surviving in a city full of dangers are an endless source of inspiration.

By sharing them with each other, citizens of The City can grow closer, allowing for a little respite while they rebuild fragile social bounds. These stories teach how to live and avoid trouble, and sometimes simply serve to drown out the sounds of the night. From a distance, players can hear monsters emerging from their lairs, and every rustle and step behind the wall portends danger.

Techland invites you to the fire alongside the residents of The City. Huddle together at night around the light of a UV lamp, listening to another scary story.

The audio story “Rosemary” is the first story in a series of Urban Legends. Techland will soon present similar materials from the world of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, not only in audio form. The US version of the “Rosemary” recording features Paul Peterman, Joanna Farell, and Jerry Widuch.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human, published by Techland, will be released December 7, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders can be placed at dyinglightgame.com/preorder.

Temecula Terror Unveils Its Mazes and Attractions for 2021

This October the Inland Empire is offering a hauntingly-good time with the all-new, hair-raising, horrifying haunt: Temecula Terror. Open for 19-days, October 1- 31, Temecula Terror is pleased to announce its line-up of terrifying mazes, scare zones, bars, and more for the first-year event in the wild, shadowing hills of the Temecula Valley Wine Country at Galway Downs. Tickets start at $20 USD for adults and are on sale today at www.temeculaterror.com.

Dubbed an Indie-Style Haunt, Temecula Terror invites thrill-seekers to visit a creepy, small town, off a back road in the Temecula Valley, and step into a Halloween Harvest Carnival… with a sinister intention. Thrill seekers can test their fears in The Crypt where brave guests will lurk through a graveyard scene and venture beyond the shadows, deep into the damp twists and turns of the forgotten catacombs. Lit only by the stars in the sky and the outside event’s carnival lights, visitors are certain to lose their way in the darkness and experience a brush with a tormented and beckoning afterlife.

Already attracting interest on social media with #HydeOrDie, 301 Hyde Street is anticipated to be a fan favorite for the all-new haunt. Home to fictional notorious social pariah Otis Hatcher, 301 Hyde Street invites haunt lovers to knock on the “haunted house” door this Halloween season for a twisted, dark, game as visitors try to find their way to escape (or should we say hide) in the maze. Seeking twisted revenge on Temecula Terror’s small town enthralled with a new Halloween attraction, Otis will unleash the darkest corners of his mind, luring in trick-or-treaters for a deadly game of cat-and-mouse…Can you make it out alive?

Tiptoe into Butterfield Asylum, a maze named after the real-life Butterfield Stage Trail that runs through Temecula. History claims that in the mid-1800s Temecula hosted a mail stop on the national Butterfield Stage route, bringing messages from home to the brave pioneers forging life in the California wilderness, while prisoners and convicts forged the railroad that would eventually replace the Butterfield Stage route. Temecula Terror is bringing to life the dark side of Temecula history with frights from the “outcasts” of society who have endured hard labor from sun-up to sun-down. At Butterfield Asylum, the victims’ bodies aren’t the only sufferers of the sun’s tireless gaze, but their minds were too lost, eaten away by the excruciating heat, leaving nothing but their most primal deviant inclinations behind for ticket holders to dare to survive.

In addition to the trio of mazes, a fog-filled scare zone will entice ticket holders with the sounds of chainsaws echoing through the secluded wine country valley as creepy carnival clowns await and hide within the depths of the dark hazy shadows. Have youngsters and kiddos who also love a good ‘ween scene? Inclusive of haunt-lovers of all ages, Temecula Terror offers Family Frights starting at 5 p.m. with kid-friendly fare, before the real scares begin at 7 p.m.

Bringing to life the biggest “haunt” Temecula has ever seen this spooky season, Temecula Terror tickets are on sale today and start at just $20 per adult (12+ years) and $10 for children (Family Fright). Local event production companies Bloodshed Brothers and Clever Coven have banded together to create the first-year haunt with an emphasis on involving local companies, brands, and stories from the heart of Temecula Valley. Visit www.TemeculaTerror.com for more information, to purchase tickets and to stay up to date on Temecula Terror announcements, sales, and more.
