February 7, 2016 – See how it all begins. Watch Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands: War Within the Cartel, the promotional live action prequel to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. War Within the Cartel takes viewers inside the inner workings of the Santa Blanca drug cartel, controlled by the revered yet ruthless leader, El Sueño. In the aftermath of an attack on their compound, the organization’s senior leadership (Head of Security – El Muro, Head of Production – El Yayo, Head of Operations – Nidia Flores and Head of Influence – El Cardenal) seeks out a traitor within their midst to exact deadly retribution.  The action packed story culminates in the events leading up to the beginning of the game as an elite Special Forces unit, the Ghosts, is called in to dismantle the cartel.

Set in the largest action-adventure open world ever created by Ubisoft, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands takes place in Bolivia a few years from now, as the country has been turned by the vicious Santa Blanca drug cartel into a narco-state. Players are tasked with eliminating the cartel by any means necessary. The massive and responsive open world encourages a variety of playstyles, allowing players the freedom to choose how they execute any and all missions. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be available March 7, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.

Kasda KA1900A Wireless AC1900 Router Review

Kasda was a relatively unknown brand to me until I got the chance to check out their KA1900A wireless router. This 802.11AC router features a sleek, black design with both 5.4GHz and 2.4GHz WiFi networks. It even features a both a USB 3.0 and 2.0 port on the back of the unit, which allows for USB storage sharing – just plug a flash drive into it and you have some file sharing ability for your networking needs.

Installing the Kasda KA1900A wireless AC1900 router is relatively simple. I simply connected the router into my cable modem by way of the WAN port on the back of the unit. Then I plugged my PC into one of the Gigabit LAN ports on the router and started everything up. I directed my favorite Internet browser to 192.168.1.1 and began the setup procedure. I setup the WiFi network and connected my smartphone and laptop to it. Everything just worked. Now, it didn’t have as much hand holding as some routers to, but it wasn’t anything out of the ordinary for a WiFi router these days. Kasda does offer online support if you need it.

For those users who love the feature, it also offers a WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) button for easy connection setup. There are those that consider WPS insecure, but if you are just using it on a local home network, it is really up to the end user as to what level of security they desire.

The Kaska KA1900A router does feature some pretty cool specs. Aside from those previously-mentioned, it has 5 internal WiFi antennae which provide a very stable wireless signal. Its range is ridiculously good and, no matter where I stood in the office, I had a consistently solid connection. In fact, it was a marked improvement over the 802.11N wireless router we were previously using. It was so impressive that I thought, for a passing moment, that I could still get signal at the Starbucks down the street! But, I digress… Even better is that, because the antennae are internal, they are not sticking out like porcupine quills as they do on external models.

A small aside, one of the best features on this router is an actual power switch! There are a lot of routers out there that simply rely on pulling the power cable out of the unit to restart it. This just doesn’t always make the best user experience as the power cable often falls out and ends up lost behind office furniture. With the power switch, you don’t have to worry about that anymore.

Overall, the Kasda KA1900A Wireless AC1900 Router is a great purchase that offers a very stable networking environment for you home or office. Its WiFi networks are speedy as are its LAN connections, and it will provide you with terrific throughput in your local network. Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire Crowdfunding Passes $2 Million

February 3, 2017 – Obsidian Entertainment?s Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire has reached the $2M USD on www.Fig.co. The fans have spoken and the game will include the AI Customization stretch goal, which allows for player AI scripting for companions, and a new language, Spanish.

“The level of fan support that has been shown for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire has been incredible. We are seeing more and more support every day with no sight of it slowing down,” said Feargus Urquhart, CEO of Obsidian Entertainment. “But with this level of amazing fan support comes great responsibility and we are going to make Deadfire the best fan-funded video game ever. That is our goal.”

Obsidian also announced their $2.4M stretch goal which will add more recorded voice over into the game and Korean localization. Previous stretch goals reached include adding French, German, Polish, and Russian language localizations, level cap increase (from Level 16 to 18), two sub-classes per class, and a seventh companion. The next major stretch goal is $2.2M which will add Italian localization, watercolor NPC portraits, and UI customization, which was inspired by the mod community from the original Pillars.

Inspired by classic titles such as Baldur?s Gate 2: Shadows of Amn, Icewind Dale, and Planescape: Torment, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire improves upon the rich narrative, beautiful environments, and intricate, tactical combat that made the original a fan and critical sensation. Original Cast Members Return for Sharknado 5

NEW YORK, NY – February 2, 2017 – Syfy and The Asylum announced today that Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will again star in SHARKNADO 5 (working title), reprising their roles as shark-fighting heroes Fin Shepard and April Wexler. Principal photography commenced today, February 2, in Bulgaria. The latest film in the hit global franchise, SHARKNADO 5 features the return of original cast member Cassie Scerbo as Nova, a bartender turned badass Sharknado fighter.

SHARKNADO 5, which sees the deadly weather phenomenon of shark-infested storms bombard cities around the world, will film in more than 5 countries, including the UK and Australia. Anthony C. Ferrante, who directed the first four films, is back to helm this latest installment, based on a script by Scotty Mullen.

The original 2013 SHARKNADO film, which introduced a cyclone depositing man-eating sharks on the citizens of Los Angeles, became a worldwide phenomenon and spawned a pop culture franchise. In SHARKNADO 2: THE SECOND ONE, New York City was the target of the disaster, and in SHARKNADO 3: OH HELL NO!, a mega-sharknado made its way down the “Feast Coast” from Washington, D.C. to Florida. In the most recent installment, SHARKNADO: THE 4TH AWAKENS, the shark-infested storms went national. The film ended with the Eiffel Tower ripping away from Paris and crashing down on Niagara Falls – a chilling indication that no one in the world is safe!

Now, in SHARKNADO 5, with much of North America lying in ruins, the rest of the world braces for the inevitable – a global sharknado. Fin Shepard and his family must put a stop to this disaster before Earth is completely obliterated.

Ghost Town Mine Ride Gets New Level and Hardcore Mode

February 2, 2017 – With our most recent update, we have two new enhancements to our game: A new bonus level and Hardcore Mode are now included in Ghost Town Mine Ride!

First, we have the Miniature Railway bonus level. Just outside the main entrance of Ghost Town Mine Ride, near the parking lot, is the “other” train ride at Black Rock Mines, The “Children’s Storybook Mine Train”. You know… for kids! The marketing for the attraction once described it as “A scenic excursion through beloved children’s tales, set in the beautiful forest of Black Rock Hills.” It’s definitely not for kids now, but you can ride this short seated experience yourself by shooting at the “miniature railway” board in the main menu area.

Also, for those that want more of a challenge, you can now choose “Hardcore” mode in the main menu area. With this option enabled you only have one chance to make it out alive!
