LOS ANGELES (July 2, 2019) – Today, SQUARE ENIX® launched FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Shadowbringers™, the latest expansion for the critically-acclaimed MMORPG that recently celebrated more than 16 million registered accounts. The enthusiasm for Shadowbringers has brought FINAL FANTASY XIV to new heights, with the active player base reaching its highest mark in the game’s nearly six-year history.

Shadowbringers marks a bold new beginning, taking players beyond the world of Hydaelyn™ for the first time as they journey to the First and the realm of Norvrandt. The Warrior of Light must become the Warrior of Darkness to restore night and save the world from the apocalypse the Flood of Light promises.

Shadowbringers adds a wealth of new features to the game, including:

New Jobs: Gunbreaker and Dancer –The Gunbreaker is a new tank role who wields the iconic gunblade, utilizing ammo cartridges to protect their party from harm. The Dancer, a ranged attacker, not only unleashes powerful attacks using throwing weapons, but also dances to execute abilities which provide beneficial effects to their party.
New Player Races: Viera and Hrothgar – The rabbit-like Viera are joined by the burly and lion-like Hrothgar, both with unique, customizable features specific to their races.
New Game+ – This brand-new system will allow for replay of previously completed quests while retaining one’s current progression and job level.
Level Cap Increase – The level cap will be raised to 80 with the release of Shadowbringers. With this will come new actions for classes and jobs—as well as new foes against which players can hone their skills.
Trust System – In Shadowbringers, players will have the opportunity to challenge dungeons with a party of trusted non-player characters, including members of the Scions of the Seventh Dawn. Traditional party matching systems will remain available.
New Beast Tribes and Primals – Players will encounter the carefree but cruel pixies in Il Mheg alongside their mighty regent Titania, along with other beast tribes including the Nu Mou and the Dwarves.
New Content and System Upgrades – Battle system changes, new equipment, crafting recipes and more.

New Alliance Raid: “YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse” – This exciting new 24-man raid written by guest creators Yosuke Saito and YOKO TARO will see FINAL FANTASY and NieR® come together as never before.
New High-End Raid: “Eden” – This new high-end raid will feature a new character designed by KINGDOM HEARTS® director and FINAL FANTASY series veteran, Tetsuya Nomura. The content is schedule to become available on July 16, 2019 with the release of Patch 5.01.
Restoration of the Holy See of Ishgard – End-game content for crafters and gatherers.

Warner Bros. TV Unveils SDCC Hotel Keycards for 2019

BURBANK, Calif. (July 1, 2019) — Legendary caped crusader Batman celebrates his 80^th Anniversary this year, and paying tribute to this milestone, Warner Bros. Television Group (WBTVG) will feature two highly anticipated upcoming Bat-related DC dramas — The CW’s Batwoman and EPIX original series Pennyworth — on the official hotel keycards of Comic-Con 2019. In addition to WBTVG producing keys for Batwoman and Pennyworth, HBO will also release an exclusive Watchmen keycard that will be available to fans at SDCC.

With more than 40,000 branded room keys available at nearly 40 participating major hotels throughout the San Diego area during Comic-Con, fans will find doors opening all over the city thanks to the Wayne family fortune — and a group of outlaw superheroes.

Pennyworth premieres Sunday, July 28, at 9/8c on EPIX. Executive produced by Bruno Heller (Gotham, The Mentalist) and Danny Cannon (Gotham, CSI series), the one-hour drama from Warner Horizon Scripted Television is an origin story that follows Alfred Pennyworth (Jack Bannon), a former British SAS soldier who forms a security company in 1960s London and goes to work with Thomas Wayne (Ben Aldridge), Bruce Wayne’s billionaire father.

Batwoman premieres Sunday, October 6, at 8/7c on The CW. From Warner Bros. Warsaw, Poland, July 1, 2019 — Independent Polish developer, Creepy Jar is excited to announce that their massively successful Amazon-based survival game, Green Hell will be launching into 1.0 on Sept 5, 2019. Gaining legions of fans during its Steam Early Access phase, the most anticipated feature of the 1.0 release, Story Mode, will see players test more than just their survival skills as they embark on a desperate mission to save their lost love, Mia.

Releasing into Early Access in August of 2018, Green Hell comes full circle just over one year later as it launches into version 1.0. Expanding with regular updates fueled by both the studio’s own internal creativity and based on feedback from the game’s active community, Green Hell has seen a lot of changes in that time. From an expanded map to new camp options and the addition of various plants, animals, and tribal enemies, the Amazon rainforest of Green Hell is more dangerous than ever.

Strange Things Season 3 Original Score Out Now

June 28, 2019: Lakeshore Records and Invada Records have released the Stranger Things 3—Original Score from the Netflix Original Series featuring music by Emmy-winning and two-time Grammy-nominated composers Kyle Dixon and Michael Stein, digitally on June 28. Half of the Austin band S U R V I V E, Dixon and Stein have been on board with the series since the first season creating strikingly dynamic music that has become a trademark of the show. In Season 3 evil has not ended, it has evolved and the duo has evolved with it as they continue to explore new sonic territory and instrumentation, such as the pop sensibilities and melancholic undertones of 50’s doo-wop, that go beyond the 80’s & 90’s R&B inflections of past seasons. They also return to familiar themes that are elevated by bold stylized reworkings that reflect the growth of the characters and intensity of the new storyline. June 27, 2019 – TBS, a division of WarnerMedia Entertainment, is bringing its highly anticipated sci-fi thriller Snowpiercer to San Diego for Comic-Con® International 2019. On Saturday, July 20, TBS will present a panel featuring stars Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Alison Wright, Mickey Sumner, Lena Hall, Steven Ogg and executive producer and showrunner Graeme Manson in the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton Bayfront. The session will include an exclusive first look at the series premiere, which will debut in Spring of 2020 on TBS.

Set more than seven years after the world has become a frozen wasteland, Snowpiercer centers on the remnants of humanity, who inhabit a gigantic, perpetually moving train that circles the globe. Class warfare, social injustice and the politics of survival play out in this riveting television adaptation based on the acclaimed movie of the same name. The series was renewed for season two prior to the season one premiere.
