It’s time for would-be managers to take their seat in the digital dugout as Football Manager 2022 is out now across all platforms.
FM22 on PC and Mac is available from Steam, Epic and the Microsoft Store with fans able to download and play now. Those who have been enjoying the FM22 Early Access Beta can simply quit and restart the relevant launcher and the game will update to the full release build. All single-player progress made in the Beta will automatically carry forward.
Those purchasing a physical copy of FM22 will notice that, for the first time in the series’ history, there is no disc included in the box. In place of the disc, you’ll receive an activation code for Steam.
To mark the release of FM22, Sports Interactive have released a launch trailer featuring Spanish wonderkid Pedri that showcases the ways a manager can help their leading talents fulfill their potential and earn their team three points on matchday.
With major additions and improvements to core areas of the game, FM22 elevates the long-running series to new heights. The game’s current Metacritic score is 87/100 and reviewers have called FM22 “The best Football Manager ever” (GiveMeSport), “The best of the bunch” (God is a Geek) and “The most joyfully compulsive entry yet” (Eurogamer).
Today also marks the release of Football Manager 2022 Xbox Edition, available from the Microsoft Store, after a successful return to the platform last year.
In an historic first, both FM22 and FM22 Xbox Edition are available with Xbox Game Pass from launch. As such, all Xbox Game Pass subscribers can start their careers on PC or Console* from Day One at no extra cost.
Completing the squad for this season, Football Manager 2022 Touch (Nintendo Switch™ only) is also now live on the Nintendo eShop and FM22 Mobile is now available for download from the App Store and Google Play. Those who pre-ordered on iOS devices will be able to play immediately.

Massive Visual Improvements
World of Warships prides itself on offering stunning visual displays of naval combat for gamers and military history enthusiasts across the world, and this update is set to make the game’s visuals bolder and better than ever before.
Firstly, the simulation of water on all maps has been completely changed. The new simulation system allows you to get waves of almost any shape and height, and also makes their dynamics realistic, with ships visually swaying on the waves. SQUARE ENIX® today announced the highly anticipated fourth expansion pack for its critically acclaimed MMO, FINAL FANTASY® XIV: Endwalker™, will now release on December 7, 2021, with Early Access set to begin on December 3.
FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida discussed the new release date during the latest Letter from the Producer LIVE broadcast, and provided the below statement regarding the reasons for the change:
“We sincerely apologize for postponing the release at the last minute on this occasion. FINAL FANTASY XIV: Endwalker is both the latest expansion pack for the game and the one that will conclude the Hydaelyn and Zodiark saga spanning 11 years since the launch of the original FFXIV.
“We will of course deliver a new adventure in FFXIV to follow on from Endwalker but, with the various struggles we experienced from the failure of the original FFXIV leading up to where we are now, I just couldn’t contain my desire to perfect Endwalker to the best of my ability. As a result, the time we spent on quality improvement exceeded our expectations and we ended up using our time allotted for debugging. On the other hand, as stability is crucial for an online game, I have taken the decision to postpone the release of the expansion pack for two weeks in order to resecure the time for debugging that would arise as we wrap up development.
“Once more, I’d like to convey my deepest apologies to all of our Warriors of Light and partners for the inconvenience this has caused. We will continue to do our utmost to bring you the best adventure in Endwalker and to expand the game experience through further updates that will follow, in order to restore your trust step by step.”
