Firefighting Simulator: Ignite Mission Walkthrough Trailer

At this year’s gamescom, Firefighting Simulator: Ignite will be publicly playable for the first time, while publisher astragon Entertainment and developer studio weltenbauer. are releasing Mission Walkthrough video. Additionally, first details about the upcoming DLC have been revealed.

The mission “The Heart of the City” features a deployment in the Oakridge City shopping mall. It’s a demanding scenario for the player and the team. The fire breaks out in the middle of the day, while many people are still inside the building. Not everyone manages to escape in time, making rescue operations the top priority. Unconscious persons and people stranded on the roof must be brought to safety. The raging fire poses a major challenge as well: due to electrical and grease fires, different extinguishing methods must be used.

First Details on the “Summer Camp” DLC

The “Summer Camp” DLC unlocks an entirely new environment, along additional missions. The summer camp, with its large lake and wooden cabins, serves as a retreat for children and teenagers — but in case of emergency, quick action is required to contain the fires. The DLC is scheduled for release in Q4 2025 and marks the first of many planned content additions, all of which are included in the Season Pass. The Firefighting Simulator: Ignite – Year 1 Edition is already available for pre-order for PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Edition includes the base game, Fire Station Companion Pack and the Year 1 Season Pass.

Firefighting Simulator: Ignite will be released on September 9, 2025, for PC, PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S and is now available for pre-order across all platforms — complete with the Fire Station Companion Pack as a pre-order bonus.

Jump Space Release Date Trailer

Keepsake Games, a Swedish game development studio founded by veterans from Hazelight, Mojang and Coffee Stain, is excited to reveal that its debut co-op game ‘Jump Space’ will be releasing into Early Access on September 19th!

Jump Space, (former project name Jump Ship) is a mission based co-op PvE in which players can transition seamlessly from crewing their very own space ship to on-foot exploration and space walks. The goal of each mission is to survive with the crew’s ship intact and make the next jump, picking up valuable resources, blueprints and weapons along the way.

First revealed in 2024, Jump Space has seen more than 500,000 players navigate nebulas and explore galaxies during the recent June Steam Next Fest, and more than 1 million players have now wishlisted the game on Steam in anticipation of its release.

Key gameplay features of Jump Space include:

  • Modular Exploration – Each adventure is divided into multiple jumps, giving players a chance to dip in and out of handcrafted adventures with randomised events and modifiers.
  • Seamless Adventuring – Operating a space vessel requires crewmembers to be scrappy and flexible. Players can exit their ship to repair the outer deck, explore the surface of an asteroid or jetpack towards an enemy vessel seamlessly, without loading screens or transitions.
  • Building and Maintaining Your Spaceship – Each adventure will yield materials and blueprints to upgrade the players’ ship for the next adventure. Crewmates have to work towards a common goal of making it out alive with as much loot as possible.

Jump Space is set to launch into Early Access on PC and Xbox on September 19th. For more information, visit the official website or follow Jump Space on Discord. You can find the official press kit here.

Anno 117: Pax Romana New Albion Province Revealed

Anno 117: Pax Romana is the latest entry in the long-running, award-winning city-builder franchise, Anno, launching on November 13. Taking place at the height of the Roman Empire, Anno 117 places you in the role of a Roman governor whose job is to build up a small town into a bustling metropolis to rival Rome itself. Players are responsible for every decision that shapes their city, from the exact placement of roads and homes to worship of specific gods and research of new technology. Each city will be entirely unique based on the choices you make.

Free Anno 117 Demo

If you didn’t get a chance to play Anno 117: Pax Romana at Gamescom, it will be available for all players to try out via a free demo from September 2 – September 16 through Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect. This will be your first chance to choose a starting province. Will you build near the heart of the empire in Latium, or embark on the uncharted lands of Albion? Play the demo multiple times to try out both provinces and different strategies for the full experience!

Anno 117’s Starting Provinces

Governors who begin in the sunny shores and lavender field of Latium (the same province as Rome), will build up their civilization to be fully Romanized, falling in line with Roman religion, technology, and military. Players who begin in the misty and wet lands of Albion (or expand there after Latium) will be greeted by an entirely foreign land and completely unique gameplay experience. The mysterious Celtic province of Albion offers up a choice for governors: protect and preserve Celtic traditions and ways of life, or enforce Romanization.

What Makes Albion Unique

Your choice to preserve local Celtic customs or introduce new Roman ones will dictate the development of your city in Albion. While starting out in Latium will allow you to worship gods from the Roman pantheon like Mars, Neptune, and Venus, expanding out to the Celtic provinces will give all of your settlements (in Latium or Albion) access to an entirely different pantheon of gods including Epona, Mercury-Lugus, and Cernunnos. Each deity offers unique, game-changing modifiers and stat bonuses, allowing you to customize each city to your desired need. Want to build a strong military complex in one of your cities? Pledge it to Mars, God of war, for boons to your military production. Need a boost to your animal farms and cart speeds? Consider honoring Epona, Goddess of domestication and protector of horses.

New uncharted lands in Albion will unlock new discoveries. Your Discovery Tree is where you’ll develop new technologies and advance your civilization. With over 150 upgrades to unlock across multiple branches like Civic, Economic, and Military, your Discovery Tree will shape the fate of your province. In the untamed marshes of Albion for example, Roman technology will allow you to research innovations like marsh drainage, while following the Celtic traditions will keep them undrained, influencing your agriculture in the region.

Anno 117 Release Date

Thankfully, you won’t have to wait too long if the free demo leaves you wanting more. Anno 117: Pax Romana launches on November 13 simultaneously on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, and Windows PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect. It’s also available as part of a Ubisoft+ Premium subscription.

Vikings Dynasty Official Gamescom Trailer

The wait is over. Development team Digital Daredevils and German publisher Toplitz Productions are proud to lift the curtain on their highly anticipated life simulation roleplaying game Vikings Dynasty. Prepared for this year’s gamescom and premiered at Gamestar’s prestigious ‘Show Your Next Game’ event, the gameplay trailer gives a first peek into the unforgiving world of Vikings and the player’s slow rise to success in the unforgiving Steineyjar archipelago. Starting as a survivor, it is a long and dangerous way to become a jarl and take responsibility not only for your followers, but eventually a family as well.

Surviving, hunting, exploring the open and unforgiving world up to building your first house: The gameplay premiere showcases some of the trademark elements the community knows, loves and expects from a new entry to this beloved franchise – and then some.

The first in a series of gameplay trailers serves as a preview to the sneak peek presentation available to content creators, media and editors when they visit Toplitz Productions at their booth in Hall 4.1 Booth D-038g – C-029g.

Yet this is only the beginning. In the weeks and months after gamescom, Toplitz Productions will not only release further videos in this gameplay series but will also keep you updated with additional gameplay insights and themed deep dives across their channels from social media to YouTube.
