San Sebastian de los Reyes, Spain – September 22nd, 2017 – MercurySteam, the award winning independent development studio behind the multi-million selling Castlevania: Lords of Shadow series and the critically acclaimed Metroid: Samus Returns, today announced that Raiders of the Broken Planet is out now for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Available as a free download on Steam, the Xbox Store and the PlayStation Store, the Prologue contains two missions, 4 characters and sets the stage for the incredible story to follow. The first campaign of the 2017 Season – Alien Myths – is available to purchase for €9.99/$9.99/£9.99. Containing four missions, a gripping story, four new characters, new weapons and more, Alien Myths represents incredible value for players who want to visit the Broken Planet and participate in the unforgettable adventure the Raiders are embarking on.
“Raiders of the Broken Planet is easily the most ambitious title MercurySteam has ever produced. It has taken us three years to get here and I’m so proud to be launching thePrologue and Alien Myths campaign today! We hope players can see the amount of love and passion that has gone into this title,” said Enric Álvarez, Co-Owner of MercurySteam. “We want the barrier of entry to be as low as possible which is why we have a freePrologue, followed by individual €9.99 campaigns, as opposed to a €60 retail release. Publishing Raiders of the Broken Planet ourselves gives us the freedom to make these decisions.”
Three more campaigns will be released at regular intervals: Wardog Fury, Hades Betrayaland Council’s Apocalypse. Each campaign will tell a new parallel story focusing on different members of the Raiders while also adding new playable characters. Campaigns will cost €9.99/$9.99/£9.99 individually. The parallel nature of the stories ensures players can jump in at any time, enjoying the adventure in any order they please. Playing all four campaigns will reveal even more about the mystery at the centre of the Broken Planet.
For the ultimate Raiders of the Broken Planet experience, players can purchase the Founders Pack for €39.99/$39.99/£39.99. The Founders Pack includes access to every campaign on launch and additionally grants players immediate access to three new characters, Mikah, Dr. Kuzmann and Ginebra, 10 days prior to full release, without having to purchase them with in-game currency.
In Alien Myths, Harec and the Raiders must find the legendary Protectors but they need the help of Shae, Harec’s old flame, in order to help him do it. Shae doesn’t trust him, though, after how things ended last time. Across four intense missions, he’ll also recruit three more Raiders: Hans, Mikah and Ginebra. Each character has dramatically different play-styles with unique abilities, weapon proficiencies as well as different strengths and weaknesses. Alien Myths is an exhilarating adventure that encourages you to play missions again and again, either as part of a Raider team or going rogue as the Antagonist.
In Raiders of the Broken Planet you pick your protagonist and work together with three other players in a counter-operative adventure. The biggest idea underpinning the game is something akin to Dark Souls, whereby a single player, The Antagonist, can invade a match just as it begins and choose to fight alongside the bad guys against the four-player human team. The goal of this Antagonist is stop the Raiders and prevent them from achieving their mission objectives, which change from scenario to scenario in each mission.

PRAGUE, Czech Republic, September 20th 2017 – 1C has revealed a new trailer and new screenshots for Quantum Replica. This mix of fast-paced stealth and metroidvania action, developed by ON3D Studios, is scheduled for simultaneous release in Q1 2018 on PC (Windows, Linux, Mac) via SteamTM and other online stores, as well as the PlayStation®4 and Xbox One.
Quantum Replica’s latest trailer opens the doors to a sealed-off cyberpunk metropolis in which players enter the new life of our main character. A life with no recollection of the past, no acquaintances, with nowhere to go but forward, in search of answers. As the path ahead winds through the narrow streets of the once thriving megacity, the omnipresent eyes of the city’s Artificial Intelligence burn the mark of the city’s Most Wanted on our hero’s back. Guards scout the city for this, the only unregistered citizen. Any suspicious behavior or even movement is noted, so each step is a lottery ticket for death or entrapment. Although equipped with lethal and non-lethal gadgets and weapons, killing or disabling the guards – enemies to some – might not always be the safest option, so speed and stealth are often the best way of negotiating the alleys, rooms, corridors, roofs and catwalks of the city. And acquiring special abilities of time-manipulation in boss fights will unquestionably help overcome obstacles, avoid traps and push forward towards the final revelation. Because when you can’t hide in space, hide in time…
HAMBURG, GERMANY (SEPTEMBER 20, 2017) – Global publisher gamigo AG is thrilled to announce today the upcoming English-language release of the multiplayer online Windows PC shooter Ironsight, developed by South Korea’s Wiple Games. Publisher gamigo AG has proudly acquired the publishing rights for the South Korean fan-favorite Ironsight and aims to deliver the game’s intense and realistic next-gen first-person-shooter experience to western audiences in early 2018 for Windows PC. Ahead of its official launch, gamers can sign-up for the November Ironsight closed beta at www.ironsightgame.com, the game’s official website.
Ironsight is set in 2025, as war rages over Earth’s last remaining natural resources between armed forces and private military companies (PMCs) equipped with cutting-edge weapons and drone systems. As the democratization of the Middle East progressed, western governments joined forces to establish the North Atlantic Forces (NAF) to secure the territory’s resources and rebuild North America and Western Europe. In direct response, eastern nations formed the Energy Development Enterprise Network (EDEN), enlisting PMCs to protect Middle Eastern resource-gathering facilities. This bitter struggle for power ignites a worldwide conflict the likes mankind has never seen.
“Ironsight immediately won us over with its compelling, high-quality core shooter gameplay, delivering tremendous polish and refinement, and we are delighted to work with Wiple Games to bring this enticing free-to-play title to western audiences,” said Jens Knauber, COO of gamigo AG. “The addition of Ironsight to our portfolio demonstrates our deep commitment to core gaming and further broadens the gamigo group’s global publishing lineup.”
“Ironsight is more than a first person shooter and offers many different tactical aspects that we believe western audiences will love,” added Gilseop Song, CEO of Wiple Games. “We are delighted to have found gamigo AG as publishing partner for Ironsight and look forward to the release and to further enhance the game based on feedback from the shooter community.”
Ironsight is designed to be a new breed of shooter featuring dynamic online action, intense gameplay and spectacular graphics. Utilizing Wiple Games’ in-house toolset, the Iron Engine, Ironsight offers lifelike action in which teamwork and tactics are the key to victory. Teams will be able to take each other on across fourteen different maps featuring iconic global landmarks and various weather conditions, with a variety of game modes such as “Search & Destroy”, “Team Deathmatch” and “Domination”. In cooperative mode, players can choose between “Last Man Standing” and “Team Deathmatch” to hone their skills against cunning AI opponents.
Attack drones and controllable mechs play a pivotal role in battles and can help turn the tides of victory. Utilize these mechanized war machines to issue direct firepower or provide strategic information on the battlefield, reinforcing tactical team play. The use of devastating napalm bombs and EMP grenades further expand a player’s options while in combat, as they choose to dismantle machines and/or the soldiers behind them. Dynamic environment interaction creates numerous opportunities to destroy and interact with objects that change options of the battlefield.
Ironsight features over one-hundred different types of weapons, and many customizable parts and decals based on near-future war technologies for players to outfit themselves with the gear that best suits their playstyle. Additional customizations in the form of skins and free characterizations enhance player personalization as they enter the battlefield solo or with fellow clan members.
